    How very true!
As I was going through the Seattle Voice Labs course, I had to unlearn how I was raised to talk, and now? I have my feminine voice! It's amazing! Thank you Claire and Seattle Voice Labs!

yeah i had a very high pitched and quiet voice growing up so i learned to speak from my chest with a lot of vocal fry and i cannot project my voice unless i do that

I love this channel, it’s been so helpful to learn traditionally masculine voices and the person (people?) running the channel seems so nice

    Thank you darling.
    Hi from Vancouver!
Since discovering you, I have been doing all of that so much with voices.
Yes I hear people and mimic them. But I've been surprised how quickly i can assess if a voice 'feels right' for me. Feeling silly AT TIMES, but I've also been changing and discovering.
Discovering women whose voices are way "deeper" than mine ever has been, but they are still evoking concepts I want to emulate.
It's helped me see a little of where dysphoria has me seeking passing, but my voice is ALREADY FEMININE (i learned that from you!)

this is a really great way to think about it. It probably works best for people with a lot of sensitivity to sound, though

@@seattlevoicelab I am Trans M to F and my hair is a boy's style. What should I do to make a girl stand up?

    • @MinimalEncourager

Look into styles for your specific hair texture! The key is to let your hair grow out and stick through the awkward phase (if you're going for longer hair like I was)! And the big difference between men and women's hair is most men don't use conditioner LOL 🤗

@@im.ghazal ah! I see. Go to a hair dresser and ask for a feminine cut with layers, start there. :)
