Hi it's the lady in south Florida again. I ordered that trellis 3 days ago and it came today! Is this vendor magical? From UK to USA. Thanks for your sponsor.
@@angelabrown8458To be fair to Mr Sheffield he has no control over where these companies are located. Would you turn down a bit of money for putting a product on your video? I wouldn't,
Yep! That’s what stopped me from buying a few months ago. Glad someone pointed this out! I’m definitely not paying more for shipping than the product itself 👎
good advice ..even with the advert :) ..should point out that often the reason mixed planting in pots doesn't thrive if because some varieties exude growth inhibitors to cut competition so it can be the case they are stopping each other thriving
Hello Mr Sheffield!! Another great video showing all of us that we can all keep learning about our plant babies. I absolutely agree with you about the gnats and how they can invade and take over!! I bottom water all my plants and live in Colorado Springs that has no humidity, which thankfully seems to have a killing effect on gnats. Have a great day!
Always feel I’m getting ripped off when buying things for plants. Plant pot stands seem overly expensive for a bit of wood, so I build my own. I’m trying to source some live edge wood to make some plant support trellises.
If you make them, sell them, I’ll be the first to buy! Jokes aside, good luck with the project & let your creativity flow, I’d love to see what you come up with!
love the jokes and slang words you use 🤣 i've collected so many tropical plants this year and even got a Maranta last week but i tired to avoid for now because of cold weather here in Asia but looks like its gonna thrive in my environment and yet none of my plants have given me headaches because of winter humidity. i can't wait to see them turn into a beast. All your videos have always been helpful, i bet my plants love hearing you rant about your plants as well 😭🙌
Fruit flies and those from plants I use plastic party glasses. One regular size, and a small one shot. In the regular one I pour water and a drop of dish soap. In the smaller one, a piece of banana peel; I cover it with the top of those little sauce containers, from restaurant, in which I poke holes with a needle.
I just eradicated the fungus gnats in my home and was considering a moss pole until this video. Now that I live without them, there's No way I'll live with them darn gnats again! I'll stick with trellises thanks
But pothos looks sooo good hanging! I have a shelf with 5 different types of pothos all hanging and it's amazing, although the leaves are not as big they're just as beautiful!
Ooo those Treleaf supports look great! I’ll be checking those out! I have some little adhesive clips that I ordered on Amazon, they are in the shape of little leaves, and the top clips on and off so you can get the plant out of you want to move it….. because they look like leaves they blend in to the stem, so it looks really natural. Ive really been enjoying those! Thanks for the heads up on the moss poles…. I was really considering them, but sounds like they are not for me given what you say about the gnats and trying to keep them wet!
Right now my hoya is on the top shelf of my plant shelves (a five-shelf wire shelving unit with grow lights). It has multiple vines, and one has decided to climb up my wall, and is crawling over my window. I haven't been able to find a plant stand that I like, so I created plans, including a physical model, for it. Now I just have to build it...
There is a purple plant over your shoulder in this video. I think it’s a Begonia? I have one similar which is neither thriving or dying. It just doesn’t seem to grow. I’d love a video on how to care for this plant 🪴 please and thank you
I agree. I tried a trellis before and trying to attach all the vines was like doing a jigsaw puzzle 😅. I have my pothos and philodendrons sitting on tall plant stands and love how they cascade down. I prune the long vines on a regular basis (before my puppy does lol ) root them and add to the pot and my plants are bushy and thriving well. I’ve also made new plants from the cuttings and given them to people. Happy trailing plants to you. 😊
Thank you so much for these videos, I know it takes a lot of work and time to put them together. I do have a question if you don't mind. Sometimes you refer to your monstera as a she and then another one as he. Is there a reason for this or is it just how you feel about them? Thanks

👍👍👍
Treleaf shipping charges are more than the cost of the Zella trellis
That’s not good!!
Not good for the UK market but this channel seems to cater more for the US market, from plant paraphernalia to American words.

I use leca balls in my home made "moss" poles (plastic backs, coated wire fronts, fixed with cable ties) 😊

That pothos looks fantastic!
Treleaf delivery fee to me in the uk is £50! So disappointing 😢
Amazon has a lot of options that will let them climb on something attractive.
Omg that’s terrible! Do they go by weight, price or just a flat fee?
😮
So happy code worked. Amazing free shipping. I live in Florida USA
Why didn't I think of the Command hook hack?! Thank you!! Just what my pothos needs!
Those Treleaf products are so beautiful. 😃

You always make it seem so simple thanks a lot😊
My pleasure 😊
Thank you for the additional 10% off Treleaf! My monstera and I can’t wait for ours to arrive😁
Hope you enjoy it!
Some of my plants act like they do need emotional support! 😁

I like how my pothos and philodendrons trail, so I'm going to leave them to do that.

I got rid of my moss poles. They are huge fungus gnat factories.
Did i miss what he recommended for pothos? 😔 guess going to have to rewatch...
Didnt make it far enough in... 😯 around 5:00
The cahonese🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I just make it up as I go along 😁
Where did you find the monstera seeds?
Online seller
i love love love your videos♥
Thank you 😊
Who cares about instragram . Just enjoy your plants
Is syngonium a climber?
Yes I think so
Seems like we need clay ball poles
I don't see the link to the Plant Hack video 😥
I messed up on that. That's next week's video
I like the concept of Treleaf, but not a fan of their designs.
Missing out
You're funny.
Cheers!
