I want glass to protect my dining room table. The table is 45.75 width round. Do I get that exact same size, or go a little shorter so it won't hang? Do I just get 45 inches?
Hey Cj, Thanks for your question. If the tabletop is fully supported all the way underneath the glass and the table is flat I would normally recommend 6mm thick glass.
Thanks for the video . How can I protect the table from any seepage between the wooden surface of my dining table and the glass top . Do advice , thank you
Get a 3/8" thick glass table top. It will look great and not move. We ordered one locally and they made it too short on one side. They remade it but at 1/4" thick for a cheaper cost. Unfortunately, it moves all over the place so we will have to use those stupid rubber bumpers that look horrible.
California Durr you can use little rubber bump ons under the glass. The glass sits on them and this help secure the glass, please note - this will lift the glass up a couple of mm and allow it to get dusty underneath.
