Thanks for watching. Couldn't agree more! I will do a proper follow up video soon - the comparisons across the board make the V4 more complete in more ways than I suspected before riding it. The level of finesse and quality in the V4 is at another level I didn’t know existing. This is the next bike on my list. #spoiler
I put 6k miles on my V2. Traded for a V4S this sunmer. Put 5k miles snd 2 track days on the V4S. The V4 is better in every way. Go into the settings and put it in full power mode. Race mode doesnt do that, is a mabual setting. The bike makes as much torque by 4k rpm as the V2 makes peak. Is a whole different animal. I felt the V4 though it feeks physically bigger, feels lighter to throw around. The forced wheels snd ohkins help with that. the absolute only things the V2 did better was comfort snd fuel economy. The V4 is better at kow speed. Smoother snd way more grunt. Its much faster. It handles WAY better eith kess effort snd feeks more sure footed. The switchgear js better. The brakes are astonishingly better. the screen and electronics are better. I loved my V2 but i dont miss it at sll.
@@charlesgutscher1923 I did set the full engine power up in the race mode in the shop before we pulled it out. 👍🏼 I am with you - it is better in every way (only doesn’t enjoy traffic at slow speeds). Pretty sure I will have one in the next couple years. Funny thing though - when I got back on the V2 my confidence was next level with the drop in power. Funny to say that at 153hp. Haha Thanks for watching . 👍🏼
@@streetsandpeaks3013 it's funny because I found my V4 easier to ride at slow speed. The V2 was so clunky. The V4S will just chug right along. I also have mine tuned and don't really remember much from when it wasn't. I did the Akrapovic slip on and OFT tune right after it's first service. Lol. I'm thinking of buying a panigale V2 for track days.
@streetsandpeaks3013 lol. While I loved my v2, the v4 is on another level and all the bike I'll ever need. I do ride in traffic close to my house before I get to open road so sometimes I'll drop the bike down into road mode until I get out of traffic so slow speed riding isn't bad at al.
@@daruraruHi! Have you ridden the V4? It is actually only 5lbs heavier and 1cm longer. The funny thing is when you sit on it, it is noticeably narrower between your legs. There is something though about the center of balance - had to say but I think it is higher than the V2. I agree about the position - I would adjust the front fork and bars to sit a little more upright. 👍🏼 Thanks for watching.
I’ve an SFV4s grey/nero. Best bike I’ve ever owned. With the electronic aids on you can confidently rip the throttle open and get to 280kmph with EASE and not be worried the front wheel will go skyward. Turn them down/off and it rivals the SDR and MT range for wheelie king. Incredible bike.
@@markholmes5695 I ran my Rosso 3 rear to the wire on my last Monster … close call! Then week one on the Rosso 4 rear I punctured and bought a Dunlop Q5S. 😂
@@streetsandpeaks3013 madness 😂 I’m trying something more sport touring. The Pirelli Angel GT 2’s. Want more mileage. I’ll sacrifice some edge grip for straight line longevity. I’m never going to bank the bike to 50 odd degrees in the road so the corsa 2’s it come with are wasted on me….also they don’t last too long
@@markholmes5695 agreed - 5000km max and I ride highway a lot so center patch is done well before the sides. My Dunlop was also faster in a straight line.
I currently have a 21 plate SF V4s and love it! I’m not sure if the 24 model electronics are different but on mine the lowest engine breaking is 3 not 1 and makes quite a difference
It’s a demo that has been ridden all season. Turns out they knew it had a leak and thought it was fixed (likely from the oil cooler). Let’s just say - after the way I ride demo bikes - I wouldn’t buy any demo. 😂
V4s is the way to go! Great bike and very smooth power delivery surprisingly

I really don't like this sporty position in v4 :/ I have the impression that it is bigger than v2

1 2 or 3 are pretty extreme. Took a while to get used to it, but, I love it now, I hardly ever use brakes coming bro corners.
