Wonderful video! How fun to see your WIPs & progress made; all are absolutely beautiful! You really have accomplished a lot! Thanks for sharing & for the view of your garden - just love seeing 🪡🧵❤️🧚♂️🌼
I have also decided to do a Finish Frenzy until the end of the year. I have 40+ WIPs and many of them could be finished if I would just commit a few days to each. Thank you for the idea! I am still in love with your Hoity Toity and The New Normal. I think that I will be sad to see them finished. 😄
Loved seeing all the projects you hope to finish by 2023! I think you need to take a sabbatical from work and go on retreat (alone!) to get them done! Looking forward to seeing how you get on!
You have so many great projects. You mentioned a new start for Stitch West which is an idea that popped up on my radar earlier this week. Now I feel even more enabled to start something. But what? Love the wee village!
Hi Julie!!! Because we need another reason for a new start, right!!! Well I will be starting the Sunnyside Sampler by The Drawn Thread for the SAL Colette Kingsley (Highway Stitcher) is hosting. And I am sure I will want to start the retreat design we get from Teresa Kogut, and probably the one we get from Little Stitch Girl as well!!! I can't wait to see what you decide on!
I wish you all the luck with completing as many of those projects as possible and I look forward to seeing what you achieve! I saw on Instagram that you’d finished the Cherry Hill Stitchery piece - only 21 to go! Xx
I love the variety of different projects you have going. What a huge amount of stitching you want to get done by the end of the year. Wishing you lightning fast fingers.
I love this crazy goal you’ve set for yourself! If anyone can do it, you can! I love all of your projects and I love that you work on many different counts and types of fabrics.
I'm in NJ, don't have central AC but have never heard of a swamp cooler before. It's humid here anyway & possibly that's why I'm not familiar/heard of them. I'm off to research....
Hi Melanie! I don't think it would work in a humid climate, so probably why you don't have them in your area :) But it is a lifesaver in our dry desert climate.
You have some really beautiful projects going. Having that many would totally overwhelm me that I would probably stop stitching. So many that you are working on I would love to have in my arsenal. Thanks so much for sharing. Love the fairy garden, it’s adorable and very artistic.
Brenda, love seeing your beautiful patterns and stitching…tell Marie that you are having lots of birthdays thru December…lol…enjoy the retreats you have scheduled…your little village is adorable…congratulations on the finish…be safe, wishing you the best…happy stitching ❣️
The "Peppermint Candy" pattern is adorable! I love the color of fabric you chose. Oh boy, I'm going to have to pick a project to start at the retreat now... I didn't know that was a thing. Hahaha 🤣 shouldn't be hard there are so many things I want to stitch!
So regarding this list...are you going to work on the ones closest to a finish first? Or in alphabetical order? Or just pulling out what is calling to you? Or something completely different?
Hi Brenda! You definitely have your work cut out for you! You have some beautiful projects going. I was just wondering the other day about Heart of Winter and if you had finished it. I'm at about the same place you are with it. It's a beautiful, fun piece. Thanks so much for sharing with us and good luck with all of your finishes!
I'm here in Georgia rooting you on!! 👏. I always love watching your progress on your WIPS!! This is a GREAT idea and opportunity to knock out some WIPS...I know I won't finish 22 this year! But, a challenge is fun and goal setting!! I still want to start patterns!! HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY IN 2022!!art patterns.😉
Hi Brenda. Your plans are very ambitious for the remaining months in the year. I thought i was nuts for attempting to finish a full coverage this year. Btw, thanks for showing your shirt. Yes, I'm one of the people who gets totally distracted by not being able to figure out what a shirt says.
Thank you for your video. I have spent the last 6 months watching all your videos, and I'm all caught up. Whew!!! It sure was alot of fun watching them all. I wish you all the luck in the world trying to get those 22 finished. But the second half of your name (maniac) is apropos!!!😆😆😆 Take care and happy stitching!!!!!
Brenda I loved watching your 22 WIP's. I wish you all the luck to finishing them. You do such beautiful stitching and I love the fabric you choose for each project. I have been working on my Halloween banner by Stoney Creek and I really enjoying it. I have finished the H and working on the A. When I get that done I will send you a picture of my progress. I am always inspired and you are such a joy to watch. I hope you have fun at Crazy Woman retreat. Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat
You're such a talented stitcher, Brenda. I love hearing how you change things and try to learn from it. Lost No More is a knockout, but all the other pieces are beautiful too. Good luck with the Frenzy! I wonder whether, on your next video, you could briefly explain when you use 1 and 2 strands on 18/36 count? You seem to use mostly 2, but one of the projects today was 1 strand. Thank you for all your videos. Your wee village is looking great. 🤗
Thank You Margaret! I almost always use 2 strands of thread on 36 ct, I just prefer the denser coverage. The only time I can think of when I use one strand is if I am using Sulky 12 wt cotton thread, as it is much thicker :) But I know many stitchers who prefer 1 strand of floss on 36 ct.
I love the lost no more. Every time you show it I just love it. I was excited after a few months I finally found a kit if it for under $30. Just put my first stitches in today.
Well, Brenda, I think if anyone can get 23 projects done by the end of 2022 it's you for sure😊 They are all such lovely projects, but my favorites ate The Color of Water, Shepherd of the Hills, and the Carolyn Manning piece. I would love to stitch one of her designs. Is it me, or do the colors appear to be brighter on the cover photo than the actual threads? Loved your finished summer piece!
Now I understand your FlossTube name! You are a maniac for handwork indeed! But even if you don’t finish all 23 you will undoubtedly finish more than you would have without this challenge 😂😂😂
I had to stop stitching at work just to watch this. You are AMAZING and I love to see your work. I am bummed that I will miss stitching with all of you ladies this weekend. Have so much fun. Oh and I would love to see the Summer Schoolhouse in person one day.
If anyone can finish the chosen 22 projects it’s you Brenda. Love the variety of designs. You wont be bored thats for sure. Have fun at your stitchy retreats.
Hi Brenda, Terri Whisler, your stitching is awesome and good luck on your goal. I finished Roasted Chicken and Potatoes, such a fun chart! Thanks for sharing your time with us.
You stitch so quickly that I’m sure you will complete your projects. I’m lucky to get one a month done but I only have a few wip. You have some great choices. I love Die Farbe im Wasser.
Good luck with your goal. Thanks for showing us the projects. I haven't counted my wips since the end of last year and I don't know if I want to. I know the number has gone up since I like starting everything.
Well it looks like you will be stitching awake or asleep 24 hour a day, it is possible my son works that way to keep banking computer up and if he fails his company goes bankrupt so good luck you will need it.
I applaud your determination and love all those projects. However you may need to quit your day job to get them all done 😉 Good luck and enjoy the process
I love all your work you definitely inspired me to start cross stitching again big girl style. What I mean is I use to do some cross stitch when I was younger stamped can’t wait to see your next one
Oh my gosh I do not know how you’re going to do it but I feel those seem to be pretty close so hopefully you can get those done pretty soon good luck to your girl
I think you have a crazy amount you want to finish this year. My favorite is still Lost No More. It's just so beautiful! I will miss seeing it when it is finished. I also love The Heart of Winter piece.
Thank You Kathy!!! I love those two as well, and will definitely miss working on Lost No More. But as soon as I finish it I will start another of my Jesus Christ kits :)
You are simply certifiable but if anyone can do it you can. I think lofty goals keep you on task and give direction and purpose. I love your variety of designers and material. Would love to go to a Teresa Kogut retreat, maybe someday.
Thank You Norma Jean!! Yep, it is definitely a crazy goal, but as you said, it keeps me focused and I will be happy with whatever I am able to get done :) This will be my first time at a retreat with Teresa as the designer. I am looking forward to it :)
That Roasted Chicken With Potatoes?! chart cracks me up every time you show it... and the colours are stunning. I also really love your New Normal. The colour choices are looking so great!
Now those are some ambitious plans!! Do keep us posted on your progress and I'll be cheering you on! I have already abandoned my plan to finish 8 or so...just going to keep stitching and when they get done, they get done 🤣🤣🤣 & if they don't get done 🤣🤣🤣
Loved seeing all of your 2023 mania WIPs. I have confidence in you that you’ll get them done. As I’ve told you before, I’m always amazed at how much you get done!! I especially loved the piece you are stitching of our Lord. What a beautiful stitch. It will be a real celebration when you’re done!!
Brenda, I am so glad I found your floss tube! You amaze and inspire me, just getting back to cross stitch after many years. (Retired K Teacher) I live in Boise and we don’t have a local store so I have ordered from The Craft Center of Fine Stitchery and they are wonderful. You are so fun and I thank you for your time.
Such a fun video. I know you will exceed in these WIPs, and will be fun watching them get to the finish line. So inspiring. Thanks for sharing. Love seeing your wee village too.
Well, so far I have worked more on ones with a deadline, and then just worked on whichever one I felt like. I figure it doesn't matter which of the 23 I stitch on, just pick one up and get going, lol!!
When you said you were going to the Crazy Woman retreat , it made me laugh because I had been thinking you were crazy to think you could finish all of those projects in less than 4 months. Good luck and let your needle fly.
Aww love your sweet wee village. I’m putting one in my new garden next summer. I have the same fear with my 60 by 60 goals - that I will be left with BAPs! Oh well, they’re goals right? If anyone can do it, you can! Hope you have a great trip to Crazy Woman, save your haul to show me next week! Be well my friend and safe travels xo
Brenda!! You have your work cut out for you!! I thought you might have picked some easy ones to finish before the end of the year but… I wish you luck and can’t wait to see your progress as you continue!! I’m going to steal your idea for your magnet board of WIPS!! Don’t have too many yet since I’m a newbie. I love your channel and the variety you work on! Always learning from you! Thank you!❤🎉😊
Love your finishes and your progress on your wips. Happy stitching!
Thank You Karin!
Wonderful video! How fun to see your WIPs & progress made; all are absolutely beautiful! You really have accomplished a lot! Thanks for sharing & for the view of your garden - just love seeing 🪡🧵❤️🧚♂️🌼

Thank You Lynette!! I think that sounds like a fabulous idea!!!!!!!

Thank You Stacey!
So regarding this list...are you going to work on the ones closest to a finish first? Or in alphabetical order? Or just pulling out what is calling to you? Or something completely different?
Hi Eryn!! I have been working on the ones that are autumn themed first, and then sometimes it is whatever one I feel like that day :)
Hi Brenda! You definitely have your work cut out for you! You have some beautiful projects going. I was just wondering the other day about Heart of Winter and if you had finished it. I'm at about the same place you are with it. It's a beautiful, fun piece. Thanks so much for sharing with us and good luck with all of your finishes!

Hello!!! Yes, totally do what makes you happy :)
Maybe an air conditioner would keep
You cooler and eliminate the humidity.
You must be so uncomfortable.
Thank You!! We keep thinking about an air conditioner, but it is only hot mostly in July and August. Just doesn't seem to justify the expense :)
Hello friend! I can’t wait to see you this week. You really are a crazy women, but I love watching it.
