    Thanks to your reviews I actually understand a lot than in store.I went in Cotswold in London and asked advice regarding an Osprey...I didn't have limited budget they sold me a Kyte 66...
    After having watch all your reviews, I will go back to another shop and try this backpack again ( because I think they did not fit it on me properly) and the Ariel 65 and Ariel plus

    Thank you for replying to my questions. I’m in the process of recovery of chronic stress that’s impacting shoulders and hips. This being said, I’m now torn between Aura AG 50 LT and Aura AG 50. And to me, this is a one-time investment. What would you suggest?

  • @elizabethcastillo1158
    @elizabethcastillo1158 Рік тому +1

    This bag has changed considerably since this video was made. The sleeping bag zipper is short and it's difficult to get a bag through it. The side compression straps attach to the pockets on the hip belt. What's that about? It is almost impossible to get the pack on without setting it on a high table. The hip belt folds inward and if you put the shoulder straps on and lift the pack then you have to try to unwedge the hip belt from behind you and under the full weight of the pack. Getting the water bottles out of the side pockets requires a friend. And, of course, too bad about the brain not becoming a daypack when needed.

    I too am debating between the ariel ag 65 or the aura ag 65. They are about a 1 difference in weight it looks like. How is the sleeping bag/bottom compartment different on the two? At first I thought I wanted the ariel because of the daypack option of the lid. But I can buy a smaller stuff pack for that instead. So looking at the weight difference and the compartment on the bottom difference. TIA. Like your watch and band!

    • @Enwild
      @Enwild  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Jenn! The main difference between the Ariel and Aura is the AG suspension. The Aura has a continuous mesh suspension that wraps around the body. This has a breezy nature, though some have found it doesn't suit all body types. The Ariel features Osprey's AirScape injection-molded framesheet, which is more firm and structured, along with the Fit-on-the-Fly components to fit a range of users. Most other features- the sleeping bag compartment (both can be disconnected to create a singular internal compartment), external pockets, etc. are pretty similar.

    • @Enwild
      @Enwild  5 років тому

      Hi! Thanks for watching! A lot of hikers find they like (or sometimes need) the extra space offered by 3 person tents if 2 people will be using it. I've listed 3 person tents but you'll find some other suggestions below these:
      NEMO Dagger 3P: www.backcountryedge.com/nemo-dagger-3p-2019.html?.com&U472zWHMxM4
      Copper Spur HV UL 3: www.backcountryedge.com/big-agnes-copper-spur-hv-ul-3.html?.com&U472zWHMxM4
      MSR Mutha Hubba NX: www.backcountryedge.com/msr-mutha-hubba-nx-2016.html?.com&U472zWHMxM4
      If you want something that is listed as 2P (which is smaller than any of the tents above), check out the NEMO Hornet 2P and the Big Agnes Tiger Wall UL 2, and the MSR Hubba Hubba NX.
      Weights and specs are all listed on the site. Good luck with your search!

    Hi I love your reviews ! I'm hesitating between the Aura AG 65 and the Ariel AG 65. What do you think I should buy ? I'm going backpacking in Asia for 3 months. Thank you !

    • @Enwild
      @Enwild  5 років тому +8

      Hey, tough question! The packs are pretty similar and both feature Osprey's Anti-Gravity system. That said, the Aura AG 65 is the lighter weight pack and probably more approachable all-around. The Ariel Ag 65 could prove more supportive if you plan on carrying a heavier pack load over long distances. Otherwise, the Aura AG 65 seems like the better choice for your trip. Have fun!

    Hi, I am choosing between the Aura 65 and the Deuter Aircontact 60+10 SL. Both seem like great packs with compabale weights. Would you have ay tips for choosing one over the other?

    • @Enwild
      @Enwild  2 роки тому

      Thanks for your question! Both are great options to consider! The Aura will feel more cushioned and responsive around its hip belt area. The tensioned back panel of the Aura wraps around your hips creating a secure and comfortable fit. While the Aircontact back system keeps the weight close to the body, and a conical shaped hip belt that will provide a proper anatomical fit for wider hips. I have taken this pack twice now on shorter trips. I love it! However, it has developed a squeak, I’m thinking from the frame. Any suggestions on how to fix the squeaking?

    • @Enwild
      @Enwild  2 роки тому

      In some cases, that can come from the pack material rubbing against the frame. We'd recommend checking all the adjustment points to ensure that the pack is even and balanced, and that it isn't pulling in a specific direction which could cause uneven movement and/or that rubbing. If that doesn't help, we'd recommend contacting Osprey for more detailed recommendations. Thanks for watching!

    What’s the best backpack for a month travel, i just bought the Renn 65 but I think it’s small. What do you recommend? Would be a better option the AG 65 or the Fairview Trek 70? Help I’m so confused! 😅

    • @Enwild
      @Enwild  2 роки тому

      Thanks for asking! The numbers in the names (65 and 70) refer to the pack's capacity in liters, so the Aura 65 would hold roughly the same amount as the Renn 65, and close to that of the Fairview 70. If you feel 65 is too small, we'd recommend looking at a pack with a higher capacity liters.

      Hi Marta! Not Becky, but they are very similar packs and you really can't go wrong with either. Each back has a suspended mesh backpanel, but they do use different hipbelts. The Ariel AG 65 features a custom moldable hipbelt that will adjust to the wearer's shape over time. The fit will be more firm than the Aura AG 65, which will feel more cushioned and responsive around its hipbelt area. The Ariel also offers a few more features like a sleeping bag compartment, ice tool/gear attachment loops, and secondary main compartment access.
