Joke’s on you Maisie. I’m a few weeks younger than her, and I turned 29 on a cruise to the Caribbean a few weeks ago. Though, for the most part, she was right about being the youngest person there.
2 tips for cruises.
1. Never disclose your cabin number to anyone. Ever. Especially the friendly steward!
2. Pineapples. Don’t eat them, don’t wear any such images on clothing, generally just deny the existence of this.
I sense there's a horror story behind those tips. Hallowe'en's coming up, so it's the time.
Okay, well now I need to know WHY - for both questions, but especially the second one!
Wackiest sense of humour, ....& a hairstyle to match!
Look at photos taken in the early 70s with all the Mod girls and Skinheads, her style is from that era. I wore the same fashions back then but my mum banned me from having the hairstyles of the time. Love Maisie's comedy. Many congratulations on your wedding, wishing you all the best.

Traditional Wedding? Pregnant bride, her uncles in attendance with stern looks and barely concealed weaponry. Groom looking a bit frayed, be it from alcohol or percussive encouragement. All exits locked and chained.
For those people not 50+, English and wondering about her hair style - She is a "mod" - they have a very specific hairstlye - not seen regularly in the wild for about almost 40 years - good on her! Mods were synonymous in the early to mid 80's and around the same time as "punks" (Sex pistols, Toyah Willcox etc) They rode lambretta's with LOTS of extra mirrors on, wearing green "duffle coats" and patches. The music of mods were bands like the "Style council" fronted by Paul Weller.
Sorry love but I still can't help but wonder if you had any underwear on. Sure doesn't look like it.
As a Rocker (I've got the big cruiser to prove it!) she is my natural sworn enemy. But I just can't hold being a Mod against her as she's just too funny! Lambretta's can do one though, bloody death traps!
I did wonder "is she bald at the back of her head? Did she do this for a fight against cancer event?"

It comes from "Modernists", 1950s modern jazz fans who dressed in sharp Italian suits. During the 60s they were listening to R&B bands like The Who, The Kinks and Small Faces. This segued into Psychedelic Rock by the end of the 60s. Hard (working class) Mods got into soul, ska and rude boy culture in the 70s, giving rise to the Skinhead movement, which is where the Fred Perry, Doc Martens and braces came in. The punk era revival was due to the 1979 film Quadrophenia, The Jam and The Specials. That's a very simplified version

She’s in for a shock, depending which ship they’ve booked. Go-carts, climbing walls, water park, etc etc and passengers ranging from babes in arms to senior citizens, often in multi-generational family groups. Cruising has changed an awful lot over the last 10-15 years :). I hope they have a great time.
Definitely, I’m 19 but I love going on cruises with my grandad. It’s lovely because the ships now are so high tech that there is always something to do for all generations. If they’re going with royal Caribbean I’m sure they’ll have a great time.

She's from North Yorkshire; he's from Northants, so unlikely, and they have very different accents, but I do see how the cadence of their delivery is similar.
