Thanks to all of you who are explaining how you'd use a charger like this, it is very interesting (and useful!) It sounds like for some of you, this will be a very handy piece of kit! Thanks again, and happy flying!
it's for everyone. i love it. love the colors. take it to the field to charge up a pack that i ran too low using a good pack no need for a power supply. and use it for balance voltage check. it also checks internal resistance. All for the price and same size'ish of an rctoolbox battery checker. This is a great tool and a great value.
It's a really great small charger for at the field. I'm using it with an Anker powerbank delivering 80W PD when I'm at a random grassfield. At the RC field we have 12V running at some copper waterpipes so I'll have a cable coming from 12V battery clamps to xt60. It's small, lightweight and charges fast enough for me to be able to fly and socialize.
Absolutely love it. So bad they only released it now. I was choosing a charger a couple months ago. B6 Nex looked really interesting, but the lack of the internal resistance feature threw me off that track. And now they release a B6 Neo...
For parallel charging 1s & 2s whoop batteries in the field this is just about perfect! Especially with how much charging you can do from a pair of 18650s or 21700s.
Awesome review, Lee! Thanks! 😃 Well, I have a big brick power supply I use for charging batteries and even for the TS100, for example... Even more when I travel. And my charger is still the ToolkitRC M6, if I'm not mistaken, so... Basically something like that. 😊 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Nice little charger. Now, if they were make a man-size verson that can charge four different lipo's simultaneously, I could replace my tired old Thunder T6 multi!
OMG, you mentioned discharge will also charge the input battery pack, is that N6Neo feature or most of charger out there will do the same? I am going to place an order soon... 😍
I have an old iSDT Q6 and a $20 used 240w laptop power supply for my go bag and I think its nearly as cheap and portable but far more capable than this B6.
Who would use it? I’d like to have it as my 2nd charger using PD power input for charing small batteries. Since I have my PD cable around my table, this charger would be a handy tool that won’t take too much space on my bench.
The real point is that you can power this off a USB-PD charger. If you already have a PD charger for a laptop , nintendo switch, phone, etc this is a good choice because you already have the DC power supply.
Hi Can you please tell me if you can charge batteries without using the balancing port i.e. just XT60 port ??? will this charger still work? Many thanks.
my charger doesn't have a outer covering and i need to push the buttons with tweezers and a nail. ive "fixed" it like 20 times. i should probably get a new one.
Tell me you hate the colors without telling me you hate the colors. lol You mentioned that it looks like a children's toy like 4 times. lol I bought this charger and I actually love the colors.

I literally just threw away my old B6 just the other day it was tore up buttons were missing that I had used hot glue to kind of create a button for 😂
This hobby just gets better and better.

@@Painless360 That's another great option!

I too bought an isdt T8 about three years ago. It has a 1000 watt dc capacity and pretty compact. Still waiting for it’s equal.
Still use my genuine original B6 - a lot heavier than copies - nothing has come along for me to change it . I use it in my home workshop all the time.

Hi

I no longer have one here to try.. best of luck
I still use my SkyRc b6 mini.

I find it extremely difficult to believe it's actually 200W capable. Did you test that claim?
XT60 200WATT , PD 80WATT
Id like ppl think it's a Happy Meal toy. Let their eyes pop out seeing it work. I have a Halo charger for field use.
This or the toolkit M7?
with a PD port is a plus. I am using M7 + PD trigger adapter as travel charger.
Who would use it ? I can totally see this as my travel charger, powered by USB PD charger from my laptop that I carry around anyways.
Can you review the isdt 608 pocket charger. It seems similar to this.
Video on the way!

Yeah, I'm not a fan of this particular colour option. Could you tell? 😉
Happy flying!
@@Painless360, LOL!
Got an old xbox power supply 12V 16A for 99p in cash converter, removed the original plug and put an xt60 on and I have a bench power supply 😊😂
So how do you plug it into the mains?
Using a DC power supply... Happy flying
