Keep your head up and stay positive man. Use the off season to recalibrate that mentality and start reading more! Love the content keep it coming and never lose that self belief!
I didn't feel well either, but somehow managed to run a 4:17 Mile haha Anyway, love the videos before my run. Excited to see what is happening to your channel in the future
@@shangrila73eldorado I ran 4:38 in the mile, I ran a 16:39 for a 5k on a cross country course. Around 5:20ish pace per mile for that 5k. If I ran I it on the track I would have been around 16 flat to upper 15's. You subtract around 30 seconds from your cross country 5k once you run it on the track. So your right. It would have been around 5:10 per mile.
I ran the same time 3 weeks ago in an invitational! My last year on the hs team but tbh I wish I could’ve gone faster since I ran 2:10 earlier that week.
Hey Tyler, might want to do some more speed type work. I know that a 5k is a lot longer than just one mile but honestly, if you can get that mile time down then your 5k time will also probably drop.
Sorry don't want to be a party pooper but you only ran 1,600 mtrs. A mile is approx; 1,609 so i believe at the blue triangles behind you in lane 1. Great run by the way.
When I come through the 400, I accidentally say it's one of the fastest 5ks I've run this year... a 68 sec 5k would be slightly elite 😂😂
4:58 isn't a bad time for not having a mile time trial since May 2020
Just hold that pace Tyler, you can do it!
I don't know what your talking about that is kind of slow to be honest I could run a 5k in .68 seconds >:D
4:58 fast af not bad for any circumstance (unless u tryna get I to some really good track team)
you know its gonna be a good day when Tyler Speers drops a video 😤😤😤😤🙏🙌
Every Wednesday baby!!
Dang this gave ME motivation!
I’m a newbie (YT and running) but glad to be here
❤️💪🏻🏃♂️
As someone who has no speed and loves a 5k at the shortest, I feel your pain😂
No matter your times Tyler bro you surprise me with your capabilities man keep it up!
Stumbled across the channel at 1 in the morning - Epic content man! 😎
Was waiting heavily for this one 🙇♂️
That was fun to watch! Well done 👏👏
Lets go! been binging your content for the past week, so glad that theres an upload today :D

What time do you need to be professional?
@@alli2964 under 3:47 Is say, because one of my friends ran a 3:55 in college but it wasn’t fast enough
@@aspect831Sub 3:47 would get you the American mile record, so definitely not
@@aspect831 and 3:55 is crazy crazy crazy fast.
Speed, speed, and more speed! Intensity is the key! If you can run a 4:40 mile, you should be able to easily cruise at 5:10 in the 5k.
On the track yes.

You're head band is lit!!!
Still a crazy good time!
Letssss goooo new vid
Awesome video bro
You haven't told in any of the videos what are those green shoes that Jared is wearing. Pretty fast shoes I guess.
There's this one kid in my state who ran a 4:02 mile as a junior
5:45 is my pr. Good job

Yea with a 2:10 u can probably run around 4:47-4:53
@@infiniteheygtre4580 that actually sounds about right
@@infiniteheygtre4580 an end of season mile with being a 2:10 800 runner could even be as low as 4:43 with a good race.
@@OGCBxGrub i can see that,im a bit of speed oriented runner and i ran a 2:09 and 4:45
Do you guys call a 1600m a mile in the US? It didn't look like you started at the mile line... 🤔
We pretty much use the two interchangeably hahaha
What type of shoes were you using? Spikes would have been ideal maybe?? Nice work👏👏👏
I am wearing spikes for this one!!
@@TylerSpeers ah gotcha👍🙂

1:37 what spikes are those
You did what you could...
What is your 400 PR?
Tyler your mile time would be the fastest on my high school team how do you feel?
Ur high school team sucks then
nice but you could maybe drop down to 4:40 if you fixed the flixing wrist thats still a good time not hating tho
Facts, my wrists are so bad hahahaha
I'm still trying to break 6 min lol
They are literally running as fast as I sprint my 200m😂😂it's kinda embarrassing when you think ab it
How many laps did he do???

Hey Tyler nice job! I am 13 and I ran a 5:28 yesterday. A PR. Do you think that is a good time for a 7th grader?
bro you went a little too fast at the beginning

That thumbnail really is clickbait tho
Actually, you should start about 9 meters before because a mile is 1609,344 meters...
Lol let’s race
God Bless Jesus Loves U❤️🙏💕
Hi are you diabitic
