The mesh net thing in my first stage, (port? metal mesh filter?), looks like it's got rust. What should I do? The rubber dust cap looks fine, so maybe the dive center wasn't careful when cleaning it out after my dives, or they may have just soaked the entire regulator in the water for too long and the water got inside the dust cap. Any suggestions with the rust on that metal mesh under the dust cap, besides not letting the dive centers clean my gears? Thanks
Never seen any reference to rinsing Aqualung ACD regs with the cap OFF (including AL's user manuals)...unless you have a citation to a source for this, I'm calling foul 🤔
