I'm so Canadian that I didn't know what was wrong with that photo
Darcy Bhaiwala yea, I thought that it was completely normal.
I know right
I feel like I have this exact same photo from my childhood.
Nothing wrong with the Photo. I am a Canadian as well so nothing wrong with it.
Rose Frose don't we all?
Her real voice is much higher than in revenge wow!
I think in tv show they just speak at a much lower pitch, but I noticed that too!
was just about to comment that. so unexpected
Same with Kristen Ritter from JESSICA JONES and Stephanie Beatriz from BROOKLYN NINE NINE. They play badasses so they lower their voices from their real life high pitched girly ones.
i was just thinking the same thing!
Emily Thorn!!
I worked with Emily for 4 years on Everwood and she was an absolute sweetheart. It's no surprise that success has not gone to her head!
Love Everwood.
“It was a very Canadian visit. We were making maple syrup from scratch.” I CHOKED.💀😂 love her!
Brandon Temple The BEST is drizzling it over snow and making hard candy.😋
TheLeigha72 sounds strange but the best is boiling hot dogs in maples syrup!! That’s a once a year treat!!
I'm western-Canadian so I can honestly say I have never made maple syrup in my life.
Beck Cetera I haven’t either!
Brandon Temple 9
She was great on revenge the series ❤❤❤❤
Josephat Kinywa me too an excellent show
Absolutely! Not so much on the new one tho. Such a tired and overblown plot line and idea for a show. Revenge was way more original and great...until the last year or so.
New one as in Residents right? I totally agree.
Jeff S I agree.... Looks more like the good doctor
Warlock12347 yea it is called that.
In elementary school they'd take us to the maple farm and we'd tap trees for sap . It's a Canadian right of passage.
A O in the East maybe
@@renbakes5083 Exactly what I was thinking. There aren't any maple trees in Alberta. I also always use table syrup because I can't afford maple syrup.
I remember mine was in grade 2 and it was glorious.
Yeah I’m from Toronto we didn’t get to actually tap the trees but we saw the farm and the process of how it was done
Hey Mahisan, Black creek village was a trip for all Toronto kids.
Emily VanCamp is a treasure
Robey Hines: Had no idea she was Canadian!
The Power Broker
Had James ever actually had real canadian maple syrup he would never go back to fake syrup.
True that
Yup.
I don't know why everyone else thinks Canadians like maple syrup wtf I don't even remember the last time I had it?
TRUTH.
real maple syrup is soooo good. the fake stuff is garbage
Why is it that every Canadian celebrity wants to break down the stereotype but ends up doing the most Canadian thing ever XD
Alice Wang I thought I was the only one who noticed this!
*_MOST OF US WHITE CANADIANS HAVE BECOME FIERCELY PROTECTIVE OF WHO WE ARE. In MY naked 20/20 vision eyes :), we like Americans, but we hate it when people think we ARE Americans. IT'S ESPECIALLY LIKE THAT WITH WHITE CANADIAN WOMEN & GIRLS. WITH WHITE CANADIAN GUYS, NOT AS MUCH_*
So what's this thing? I didn t noticed 😬
SnowbirdFlock can you repeat that? I had headphones on.
seasass 9 I’ll try my best to explain this. The world had stereotypes about us Canadians such as saying “eh” a lot, drinking maple syrup, being too nice etc... the list goes on. I feel that Canadian celebrities particularly “stand” out in foreign talk shows despite the attempt to fight off these stereotypes. But they somehow end up being so Canadian anyway. Tell me if I’m making sense here 😆
Yeah that layering is normal u should see when we'd go trick or treatng. Full snow suit underneath
it takes some dedication to go trick or treating in canada because it always rains, you’re always freezing and your costume is always going to get ruined by the end of the night
I remember the year it snowed and I was wearing a Princess Jasmine costume over my snowsuit. LOL Kids have it so easy now.
EVC is just one of those rare women (like Gal Godot) whose natural charm and charisma is completely off the charts. Her cuteness is BLINDINGLY intense. 😁
I love Emily since Everwood! Good times! She was amazing on REVENGE and now on The Resident. Best wishes to her!
Fun Canadian fact: it takes about 40 liters of sap to create 1 liter of maple syrup
Liters? Sorry I'm American, so that doesn't compute. :P
fun fact, it's litre, not liter...
Please convert to gallons
I had to Google it lol, 40 liters is equivalent to 10.6 gallons. One liter is .26 gallons.
Hehehe actually units don't matter since it's just a proportion. You can always say it takes about 40 cups of sap to get a cup of syrup. Or maybe I'm wrong LOL...
Everyone is looking around like "what?" but...making maple syrup isn't weird to me
Ikr I wanna do it myself
LOVE EMILY VANCAMP!!!
I miss revenge!! she was so awesome in it
AWWWWW. I love Emily VanCamp and Sharon Carter ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Quebec and folks in southern Ontario know all about this, and when the sap is running, winter is over so that is worth celebrating. Its a matter of making something yourself instead of buying it...Oh Canada
Forgot about the maritimes! We do it all the time here too. I would go over to my Nan’s and poppy’s place to make some out of the sugar maples in their backyard lol. We also always have a field trip to eat it off the snow in elementary school too.
Quebec and Ontario are the saps! 😜
@@_Orphic_ Those in Ontario and Quebec believe they make up all of Canada so get use to comments like this.
@@YukiPyro Its a fact though lol Quebec makes up for 90% of the maple syrup production.
Oh Canada we can't afford yall
I miss Revenge
She's from Port Perry, Ontario. Cold in the winter, yes. Cold in the summer? Absolutely not! Very hot and humid in Southern Ontario in July and August.
Emily’s so talented and stunning as always♥️
Canadian people are the nicest tbh
Canadians are the best. I mean, they gave us Ryan Reynolds. I'm very grateful for that country, lol :)
Dare - wait for it - Devil here sir, have an upvote
Dare - wait for it - Devil also Shawn Peter Raul Mendes
...... not all of them.
Fuck you eh lol
Emily VanCamp Is Very, Very, Very Sweet
She is such a great actress. Loved her on revenge
Its nice to hear her promote her Canadian roots
I find it so condescending somehow, the way they giggle about it. As for the photo, it's not even THAT crazy in terms of layers come on! When it's winter, it's the way everyone goes out wherever it's cold in winter. Even in the US.
If you're canadian you've been to a maple syrup farm at least once lol.
Excuse me, I am Canadian and guess what, have never been to a Maple syrup farm, I live in the western part of Canada which I guess you know nothing about. We do not have maple syrup trees out here.
I went a bit too much
Chris Amon Same haha. I’d do it one day but I don’t even know where I’d have to go.
Nope,.... Never been to one. I have driven by trees with taps in them but never had the desire to go " OH LOOK! Maple trees lets go in there!"
I mean, I literally had to go as part of my grade 8 school curriculum. lol. Violently Canadian.
And she is very, very, very beautiful
John Le She is very attractive, but it’s more about her personality than being some knockout.
one of the most beautiful women alive imo
Marc B. : An attractive, warm and honest personality can *contribute* to the knockout effect.
Emily is honestly the best 💕💕💕💕
How could u not like her
Some people are just idiots
Love Emily
I've always liked Emily... such an approachable personality.
I love her
yup we all do
A london guy interviewing a Canadian in an American tv show
My revenge girl...i loved that serial...seen twice just coz of her.💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝
I love how they're all laughing at Emily's childhood look, meanwhile Busy Phillips is just sitting there like a disco troll doll the whole time. And those were all choices she made as an adult!
Not all Canadians make Maple Syrup - but we do all like it 👍🏼
No we don't. :P
LOL Not all of us! But most of us I’d guess! :)
lol my family (from ontario) made it and just boiled it in our kitchen. It made a big mess but it was soooo good!
Well u can't really make it in places like the prairies so 😂 even if we wanted to, too bad so sad
i want to try the real maple syrup :D love pancakes
Revenge is such an underrated show!!!
Love her - she's always so nice.
Emily Vancamp is so cute! I love her!! ❤️
Just finished revenge- that show was everything
She's so very, very, very Canadian sweetpie!
She is gorgeous ❤️
Emily is so stunning! I just love Canadians.
Canadians please adopt me
RIGHT
The best example of what all Canadians should be like can be found in the eastern provinces.
Such as New Foundland. They took the grounded Americans into there homes without question TWICE.
Prince Edward Island...also referred to a just P E I.
And last,but not least,Nova Scotia.
I am from St.Catharines Ontario Canada.
However, take a trip up to the eastern provinces...you won't be disappointed.
All the best to ya
Paul
Everwood flashback. She's still my ultimate crush!!! 💙💛💙💛
Agent 13!
That makes me laugh how they make it sound like it’s cold year round in Canada.
Who's they ? Nobody thinks that...🙄
@Cleetus Farragamo Well I can't entirely blame them. If someone was to look at Detroit's weather and see it's 80 degrees outside and then immediately turn to a Toronto based station and see it's 27 in Canada you'd think it's cold all year round too.
@@K.Lynchka You clearly didn't understand a joke about Celsius and Fahrenheit.
@@bigbrotherlop87 I'm pretty sure by now they've realized that Canada measure temps in Celsius.
She will always be Amanda Clark. I miss that show so bad.
The queen of Revenge! I miss that show so much!
I'm so proud to be Canadian 😊 🇨🇦 💞 🇨🇦
Emily VanCamp is literally a true goddess !!!! I adore her !!!!
Who else is a Revenge fan?
Sanskar Wagley we all are
Canada is precious and great with nice and sweet nation🇨🇦❤🇨🇦
I want to see more of Emily as Sharon Carter/Agent 13 in the MCU!!!
Emily vancamp is a Angel
Love her in The Resident
But her Aunt Peggy is very, very British
When she talks at Peggy's Funeral in Civil War, she sounded just like Peggy. It was very believeable that she could be related.
Jedd Jong Most Anglo Saxon Canadians, do have family, still and Grandparents from, England, Scotland, Ireland, France, etc...they are how are families arrived in Canada.
Jedd Jong who is ashamed of being Canadian, we are proudly multicultural. :) We educate on similarities, and differences, are traditions of individualidual Home, background, Culture, we all have ancestry and backgrounds to proud of, in every family. America was, built by the same people, and spread across other native cultures. Within each Home/Culture/or Group, over years, traditions have been shared and melded together. Very cool when you embrace, as Canadians.
*_I'M A WHITE CANADIAN & I HATE MULTICULTURALISM. IT HAS DESTROYED THE REAL CANADA_*
+SnowbirdFlock Real Canada?
Lol I literally had like the same coat lol ah ha also from Canada swear I have a picture like that somewhere 😂
I think we all do! lol
Emily is so GORGEOUS 😍
emily is so pretttyyyy. Been admiring her on revenge, the resident, avengers, the notebook
The Notebook? She's not in that one... Do you mean The Girl in the Book?
Cecelia M ok my mistake hehe. Supposedly the girl in the book
Watch Norman if you haven’t seen it yet. She was great in that movie as well.
Lawrence Stevens i just guessed what she was on cos im not that avid avengers...thought winter soldier was the same with avenger
nathanblue what year was it? Tq for recommendation 😊
Emily is a beautiful person
I always watch her in Everwood 😍😍
Man Alain you’re everywhere dude....just stop
Can we just have the new Agent Carter starring Emily VanCamp? I think that would be awesome.
Oh that would be cool.
Eugenio Derbez junto a agent 13!! Me muero!
I love her oml
Who is in love with the resident 😚
It can be cold at certain times of the year in the area of Canada I'm from. My house was on a dirt road, so I wore a thin hoodie if I was cold while biking. Gotta love weather in northwestern Ontario.
It is NOT always cold in Canada!!! Yesterday it was 23 degrees Celsius and hot and sunny in Vancouver. The winter on the east coast and prairies is very cold but rest of Canada and summer is hot.
Love her.
K, I gotta ask. Where in Canada? It’s a friggin huge country, bigger than the U.S. in land mass. I always find it funny when our American friends to the south treat us as an entire country north of Buffalo. Anyway, hope she got some Tim’s coffee while she was home.
Well making syrup narrows it down but I'm curious as well 🤔
Tim Horton’s went downhill as soon as they started getting coffee from a new supplier. They got even worse when they started focusing on more sub-par food products rather than just sticking to coffee and donuts/muffins. If you want good coffee like what Tim’s used to have, go to McDonald’s because they’re the ones that now have that particular brand that everyone loved so much.
Would have to assume Ontario or Quebec so that narrows it down to about 4 trillion acres
@@vickilarouge4855 if you think Tim's ever had good coffee, you don't like coffee.
She's from Port Perry Ontario
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with clothes, it’s super cute 🌝
I love her so much❤️❤️
Emily VanCamp is my queennnnnn 💛💛💛
Love her 😍😍
Tota Vullnet me in the loop
Thanks so I on
She missed an opportunity...
“Who are you?”
“I’m Emily... . . .”
Ugh she's such a cute bean
I love her on The Resident
Just today I thought about Revenge ...
Viktorija Trumpulyte Captain America here
What's with the faces at 2:00? Do people really not know how maple syrup is made?
Maybe their not Canadian 😁 3cheers from Canada
Many Americans do not know where cheese comes from. It is not out of the question that they'd not know where maple syrup comes from.3cheers from Nova Scotia Canada
They/he did remember that we have to boil maple syrup first before consuming
Americans know absolutely nothing about Canada lol
I love Emily
Love our Canadian girl!!
I miss Revenge. Long live Emily Thorne!
I love the look in the guy on the right when she's talking about boiling the sap. It's like he's never had maple syrup before.
I noticed that too. He came across as an idiot and a snob.
RIP Nic Nevin. That hit hard. Amazing actress on Resident and will miss her!
Her voice is so nice 😊
I'm Canadian and we went back to Canada a couple years ago and on our way back to the US at the airport the immigration guy asked if we'd bought anything. My sister and I reply straight-faced, "Maple syrup." He paused for a moment waiting for us to crack a smile but we were dead serous. We bought it at a farm in Nova Scotia xD
Canadians are very nice, but don’t mess with them. Very tough when they have to be.
Bryan Wilson Very true! A lot of surprised Americans found that out in 1812 as did Europeans in WWI & WW2.
Bryan Wilson Canadians are passive aggressive
Trudeau did a Canadian toughness to Trump, who was mad and sad 😁
😁😉3cheers from Canada
@@morganohlen1335 that's incorrect .you should know better. We forgive and accept your misperceptions of us Morgan .3cheers from Canada
I love you Emily
Emily amazing 💛💛✨✨🍬🍬🍬
If they ever did a Revenge 2.0 with her bestie and she guest starred in it sometimes I would be so down for it.
Mayara Miquidade I'm so mad Nolan never got his spin off show 😭
I miss Revenge!!! 😭😭
My dad used to tap the 3 big maples in our suburban yard. It had to be stirred a lot, or it would form a dome and explode. Which it did one year, straight up, to the ceiling!
The next year, it was made in the garage.
The photo looks totally normal. We were the same. You have to wear that in November and like early spring (like March).
James corden maybe you should visit Canada and do some truly Canadian things. Ive got plenty of ideas for you to choose from. Maple syrup making being one
When I was in grade school that was one of the things we looked forward to was going to the maple farm and we were amazed when they started switching from using the metal buckets to the plastic piping going from tree to tree lmao technology is amazing
Making some right now! Had it on home made pancakes this morning.😁
I love her she's so gorgeous..
Only a Real Canadian would allow everyone to laugh at our country and not say anything... Now that is Canadian
But why are they laughing? What's so fucking funny about maple syrup? Why is that other guy, whatever his name is, making a horrible face?
Janet Kizer -Right?! Whatever. They’re just jealous. Oh Canada! 🇨🇦❤️
The host was being a bit of a wanker.....not sure about the other two guests...
Canadians are pretty decent.
I'm American and I visited Canada last year. I would never make fun of that place. Canada is a wonderful place full of beautiful girls like Emily. People up there should be proud of their authentic heritage.
agent 13 from captain america
Making maple syrup is a lot of work but a very fun and rewarding experience, eh.
I love her since Everwood.
