Been listening to The Souls since 1995 when Maniacal Laughter came out. I remember seeing them twice in Manhattan. They would always park their little BMX trailer on the street outside of the venue.
I ordered the coin from this music video and it was in the mail today, when I got home. I've never been more excited about anything, since the birth of my daughter. I intend to carry it with me, everywhere I go.
This song just oozes Jersey and I love it, from the doo-wop sounds to the guitar riff that sounds like Bruce. If Jersey ever picks an anthem this should be it.
2020 I just found this band, group. I love them.

Love the fact that the Bouncing Souls are with Rise now. Glad to see variety in the record label.
I can see myself listening to this in the car going down some hometown streets, feels like a good summertime song. Definitely a break from the metal sound Rise puts out, and what a good break it is.

I saw them on Warped Tour in 97 or 98 in Northampton, MA. They had people quote their favorite 80's movies. Best performance of that festiva.
Its amazing how these guys only get better with time. I can't name any bands that have aged like this. This song in particular is some of their best work. EXCELLENT and phenomenal song.
Why is it that the only good punk bands on Rise are usually the ones with the most dislikes? I just fucking love the 50's doo-wop vibe in this. The Souls did good.

Ok seriously people... This band deserves more respect then all the other bands on Rise They have been around FOREVER! I love The Souls and am so happy that they put out a new album that is just as awesome as their other music.

Most of the people here don't know that this band has headlined Warped tour before, just becuase they're in a record lable thay offers mostly metalcore, post-hardcore, electrocore etc. This band is one of the hard working bands out there, thats the reason why they're on Rise.

Fuck, man, I went to the secret show they did a week or two ago (it was their first night/reveal show with George on the drums) and they were just like "We'd like to thank you all for coming out tonight to watch us practice for the first time with George."
They just don't give a fuck and it's amazing because they can. Can't get enough of these boys!

This is what Rise was originally built off of: Punk and 90's rock. Now its a metalcore and mostly post-hardcore label. but theyve still got some old punk bands signed.

I specifically want my band to sign to Rise because even though my band plays the majority sound of Rise bands. I grew up with Bouncing Souls and I think it's awesome that they sign bands that write great songs not just heavy music! Great job Rise!

Dunno why this has so many dislikes, it's pretty good even if it's not what I normally listen to. I'm not going to dislike it just because it isn't what i'd normally listen to, which is what the majority of people seem to be doing.

Dude, when it comes to respecting other genres....metal-heads have NONE. I would just ignore them. Not saying this is the best I've ever heard, but it certainly deserves a listen or two.

apparently you havent seen all the comments from people saying "its a nice change of pace from the normal rise music." so actually they do listen and have respect for other genres. I for one dont really care for this kind of music but I love electronic music dubstep and of course metal/hardcore.

That doesn't make sense. People who subscribe to Rise see that Rise uploads a new video. People assume it's some post-hardcore band (99% of the label). People click on the video, find it's not the genre they listen to, and hence all the hate starts.
I just don't see why people are getting surprised about the fact that there are so many dislikes / haters in the comment section.

Well yea, I'm sure people DO stop watching it, but only after they've hit the dislike button and raged in the comments. It might be stupid, but that's how it works. Especially when the label you subscribe to isn't even putting out the GENRE (let alone the music itself) you want to hear.
