In the show I love the little bits of animation, it really tells a story in a way that not a lot of shows do. It displays emotion, the way the characters are feeling, it’s just so great. I think this aspect is one of the reasons the show feels so relatable to some fans. For me and maybe some other people, it’s like your living in the moment with them, like you can feel what they’re feeling and it’s just wonderful :)
Yeah, the animations actually help capture those hard-to-describe feelings you have at the start of a good relationship or a crush. The sparks flying, the wild and fluorescent glows, the butterflies, all of it. The animations just visualize it so you really feel the moment along with the characters.

I loved Heartstopper to an embarrassing level. I have never seen a movie or show, (and I am a huge~! Book, Theater, TV and Movie fan, I believe that the thing that separates humans from animals is our story telling), where every single actor, every single scene and every single cinema graphic was freakin PERFECT. This offering was cathartic for me. I have been out for 44 years, but this fulfilled something in me that has been missing all along. I have seen several other gay love stories, but this is the most innocent, sweet and wholesome love story I have ever seen. When I say that I loved it to an embarrassing level, (Dear God~!) I mean, I binge watched it 8 times in a week and a half. (and I have only ever binge watched one other show, ever, and that was only once through.) What sets this master piece aside from all other gay stories is both that it is one of the first none tragic love stories and it has not one single seen for the prurient of heart. Just awesome... Many tears of joy..
Watching this while realising this love (tv) is getting release makes this even better 😭(literally after watching this I went to Twitter and found it out🥹)
Omg I just binged watched it yesterday from midnight to 6am with my mates and it was amazing just brought back some memories back when I was a gay little Asian teen from Manchester England. I went through something similar like Charlie 20 yrs ago lol can't wait to see series 2 ASAP plz av become obsessed with the show x ps read on tapas and loved the future episode set 10 yrs later and it was amazing just lovely. More plz x
