I think they just didn't show that part due to time constraints. They probably just never got to film it, but they do show them walking out with a few cases of beer.
All music in this was perfect but yes man that last one fit so well with the last scene. Bad. Ass. Also, so proud of you Steven & the rest of the cast/crew. Great job on this project. Can’t wait to see the development in future short films & hopefully movies!
This was amazing. Plus I didn't know Elliott was in it and it made me this much happier to see him. Acting wise everyone did a splendind job, but Mimi was just phenomenal. Congrats guys, I hope to see more films from you in the future.
I love the fact that Cib dies, not that i don't like him because he is one of my fave's at sp7, but because it actually made the movie more personal and I actually nearly cried when he died because if none of the main characters died it would have had a way different affect at the end. This is also my third time watching it because it is so good it also shows us how good all of you guys are at acting because you all have real potential. i especially love the parts when Steven shows of his real acting skills when Cib dies and when he is holding Mimi back. This movie was truly amazing.
The best cinematography I have seen in a short film. The acting was just marvelous. The camera shots were beautiful and the story was very compelling. It kept my attention throughout and I went through many emotions. Laughter and crying. Overall I rate The Pond a 10/10
LyfesAMeme !!! Chronology doesnt work out, locals said it was a ore affirmed thing that happens every year or so where parker was only killed a few months ago
I feel like people are praising this solely because of they know the creators. I'm going to judge this purely as a short film even if I love Sugar Pine 7 and the boys. THE GOOD: James was fucking great in this! He really was in my opinion the stand out actor for this but that's not to say that everyone wasn't extremely better than I expected; Elliot crying for help was super great and all of Steven's scenes were terrific. I loved Cib in this as well as the girl (I'm sorry I didn't check for her name but she did really great as well!) So it's suffice to say the performances were good for the first short film. THE BAD: They plot derailed EXTREMELY out of place. A part of me understands this as it is a 25 minute short film but too have the first kill in broad daylight in which you see the 'creature' right away was kind of a wasted opportunity. I would have rather had the gang see the dead cop near dark and have a spookier attitude for Elliotts and Cibs kill. This would have also had made a better scene for when the final three breakdown in the living room and talk about their trip to the mountain as you can see how time has passed and the deaths have effected them, this would make the scene that much more personal and effective. Anyone I'm not faulting anyone for praising this short but if we actually want our boys be successful we need to be critical. This short has it's flaws but it is definitely a step in the right direction.
That So Landon Now this is just my opinion but I think that the monster was perfect just how they still made it scary in light it's something that you should credit them on that because a lot of movies require it to be dark to make it scary they were able to do that in the bright of light and it made it more original and different which I liked and with the story they had it wasn't planned for them to know that the cop would still be there well ,just dead and they would not till morning because of loud they were partying but I do agree on that script was not complete it seemed liked.
That So Landon I see where you’re coming from, but doing what you suggested is extremely cliché and almost every damn movie does it. What they did here is actually quite impressive. Not only did they reveal the monster in broad daylight (sick Alfredo face reveal btw) but they managed to keep it scary. That is something not a lot of scary movies do. Oh, Blue Penguin basically said what I said. So yea. That.
Personally I thought seeing the monster early and in broad daylight was pretty refreshing. Too many monster films try to tease the audience way too much. Even in daylight the group wasn't safe, it didn't have vampire weaknesses and it couldn't be dealt with - the only option was to run. I liked the cinematography, especially since it was a relativity low budget short film. If anything, having sp7 act was a downside for me, I'm too used to their normal characters.
I agree that it was refreshing but only refreshing because no other filmmakers do it and there's a reason they don't. Having the monster be hidden in shadow is scarier and if your goal is to be scarier you should follow suit. Like I said though I understand your angle but it didn't serve the story or pacing better to just have Elliot die out of nowhete.
Wow! This was great! Honestly went in with low expectations as you mentioned this would be different from the SP7 format. Shots were beautiful and the colors in some of the scenes were super dope. I enjoyed the ending as well. Different from what I've seen in other films. Music throughout was on point as well. My only WTF is that trailer to The Pond lmao.
Wow guys! such an amazing short with great acting and cinematography. I honestly wasn't expecting this to be this good! Looking forward to more short and hopefully feature lenght films from you guys.
Now that was pretty damn amazing. It was kind of strange seeing everyone especially Cib act like they were 'normal' for a while but it was good acting and pretty dang good editing. As a viewer, I'm pretty darn proud of you guys.
I thought this was great, guys. Truly, this was such a good time. I think the sound mixing is off at times and some of the characters are underdeveloped, but this is a great first film. The lighting during the house party is fantastic and a lot of the cinematography is stuff you'd see in a big budget studio film. I think the pacing is also really well done. I also applaud you for actually being able to make DAYTIME monster appearances actually horrifying. And the fact that the monster looked so good when you guys barely had a budget is commendable. Great job gang. Looking forward to more in the future.
Yeah agreed, however, while I do also agree with the character development, they did well to do it in such a small period of time, especially since its only a short film too.
Tbh I felt like crying when cib died. The emotion felt so real and Mimi, Steven, and James did a great job portraying their emotion in that scene but overall it was a great short film!
WillisWolfgang they overlooked so many things here tho... Like the package at James house. That leads to nothing. Throwing away Cib's pipe that leads to nothing. Having the couple always fighting, that leads to nothing. The guts under the house, doesn't really add nothing just to say there are animals here which was already said at the beginning. Cib kissing the girlfriend, you would think that creates tension. Nope Steven listens to a voice mail from his dad, leads to nothing. And that's barely like 1/4 of the short. They overlooked a lot of things.
Great ending just wish it was longer, it felt so short and rushed but it’s understandable due to the budget and time. You guys went for quality over quantity and it was so worth it, thank you
Considering it was an in-house editor, I think they did an awesome job. You can call the rest lazy and weak but consider that it was also their first attempt at something outside of their usual comedy vlog style.
Saul Gonzalez either it's good or it's not, who made it shouldn't matter. The time it is made does not matter. The experience does not matter. If it's good it's good, don't hide behind their inexperience to say it's better than it is.
Jackson Nunn nice personal insults against me. Real mature dude. It definitely hurts my points when you insult me and makes your argument that much stronger. My criticism is constructive but you don't like it because it's honest and real. I never claimed to be able to do better so idk why you brought that up. Maybe you couldn't argue with me on substance so you went towards these random insults. Here's a tip learn how to attack points not people. Reply back when you have actual counters to what I said showing how I was wrong.
Imagine this over an hour, how much more build up and anticipation there could have been. This is just an amazing taste of what these guys are truly capable of and I look forward to what they have ready for us in the future.
they established characters, explained backstories, created tension, and told a story in a span of 22 minutes. this was really well made and i hope the crew is proud and know that they're incredibly talented.
I disagree with you. The first line of James was about leaving a package on the front door. Cib's lines added nothing, who is this guy? Idk. Also he kissed the girlfriend and that was quickly forgiven...so not a lot of tension. Steven had his dad issues but that lead to nothing. At the end he got inspired by Cib's comment that was made outside of the film. So the only reason for the dad issue was to have a reason to be at a cabin. Also when the monster came out. There wasn't a lot of tension. The cop got killed and then a few seconds later we see the full face of the monster. "Jaws" created tension or "Alien"...but here they just threw it all at once. I liked it and I think it had great cinematography but the writing needs improvement.
establishing characters includes their backstory, first of all. Second of all, none of the backstories influenced anything or came up again. Third of all, using the plural isn’t really accurate because the only backstory that was done at all was Steve and his dad. I can’t tell if Mimi is Steve’s sister, his ex, or just his friend, and they didn’t even try to do anything with anyone else. And as for tension, I feel like they blew their load a little too soon. Granted they only had 25 minutes, but you can tell a good story in 25 minutes still. It was paced weirdly. But there’s no denying they have talent. Cinematography and sound design, as well as acting were on point. Mimi was fuckin ridiculously good.
I think James’ character was really the best. I think if you guys ever make a sequel to this, you should go more into detail about Steven and his dad and more about why Cib was important to the group
Holy shirt. That was damn good..... such a quick thirty minutes. Great acting, boys. I can't believe you filmed this in three days. Suppy, I'm so proud of you and the pine. I laughed, jumped, even almost cried... and then felt victory when James shot the creepy clerk, all in 30 minutes. Very impressive, dudes. I'm glad that so many names were able to partake in the making. This is only the beginning.
I think this is actually really good for a first time short film with only a four day production, if they had more time you can tell they could've really made it something great. I think the premise is better suited for a feature and honestly I'd like to see them make one.
I know you guys are probably reading all the comments, so might as well write some thoughts on this movie. Acting is good. Steven did a good job, considering him being worry about it. Everybody else is perfect. Elliott's death was very believable. Lighting work and cinematography in general are awesome! Some vaporwave aesthetics going on in that cabin! Speaking of cabin, why couldn't this monster break in? Seemed kind of dumb that they were just sitting there and looking through the windows, not even trying to barricade them or prepare for the imminent death whatsoever. If this creature can't go in, should've let us know more clearly through the plot. Steven's plotline with his father doesn't go anywhere, might as well leave it out. James' reaction to cops bloody car seemed a little too much. I understand it's supposed to be frightening, but still. Anyway, thank you for the movie, I enjoyed it very much! Awesome job for the debute! Congrats!
Definitely good for their first, I do feel a lot was left unfinished and they should have pushed for a little more time and had it out on roosterteeth first today
I think a lot of the inconsistencies had to do with them only having 3 days to shoot the whole thing. I know Steve said he wished it was a bit longer. I'm hoping we see some follow through in another short some day :)
James Allen McCune I got into SP7 due to The Official Podcast, you were/are hilarious so I decided to look up these guys and I ended up binge watching all their stuff in a matter of like 2 weeks. Now I am an avid fan, so I just wanted to thank you Famous Actor James allen McCune, I'll be very upset with you if in fact you are somehow related to Harvey Weinstien.
Super pine 7 is officially cemented as some of my favorite creators on this platform. They have shown me that creativity can be shown and done well. I love this short film and I love there other content. Super pine 7, I'm so happy I found this!!!!
I agree with Toby. Ima be nice and give it a B for it being the first film. Imo, it needed a better ending, better looking monster, and actors that can display emotions better. I love the bloody gore scenes tho.
They actually acted like normal people would in real life. That's what I love about this. I don't like the scenarios that would never happen in other horror films, bc no one is dumb enough to stick around long enough for them to happen. The acting in this was refreshing too
So glad you guys stuck with the Harvey Weinstein Association of Massages despite all of the bad press. Good to see one youtube channel with a decent moral code.
A friend and I signed up for rooster teeth first just so we could make popcorn and watch it together as soon as we could. Amazing short film, especially for a first.
This made me so emotional, I have been with this channel since before The Steven Suptic Experience and my god.. I am so fucking proud of everyone wow.. I teared up a little and I couldn't continue watching this movie without thinking "holy fuck this is good. the acting exceeded my expectations."
That was so amazing. I haven't been so emotionally invested in a group of people in a horror film in so long. I even found myself going "noooo!" involuntarily when people died and cheering out loud for other scenes. Thanks for this. Please make a feature length film, I'll buy a ticket.
Holy crap. I actually got chills lol. Not many movies/short films have ever done that to me. That was amazing, especially for your first one. The pacing was a little quick, it could've definitely been a full length film. And honestly, Mimi surprised the hell outta me with how well she acted. Seriously, that was great.
holy shit, that was incredible. the cinematography?? the lighting in some of those shots??? absolutely terrific. the way you guys shot devin's death in particular was fantastic-brutal, but fantastic. also wow fucking. you guys really nailed the scene where cib dies as far as acting goes, I felt that in my gut. ouch. all in all this is amazing and it's amazing that you guys can produce such wildly different content, comparing this to the usual sp7 videos; I always look forward to everything you guys make. this was phenomenal. keep it up.
My problem was there wasn't much narrative which is fine but when you don't have that you need to rely on the characters and unless you watch SP7 you wouldn't care about the characters at all. It seemed a bit rushed. I mean add a love triangle somewhere. Build some actual drama. When cib kissed the girl (honestly don't know her name) I thought yes some drama. Then Elliot was angry for like 3 seconds and then nothing happened to Cib. It was just like eh whatever. That is not how humans act, you don't shrug that off.
BRELLLA friend, I enjoyed the content and just wanted to let the creators know. I appreciate your concern for my intellectual integrity, I do, but I genuinely liked the video and reacted accordingly! no problems here :'))
Inhuman I definitely see where you're coming from! I think most of the narrative problems really just stem from the fact that this is a relatively short film-if it had run longer there'd definitely be more depth to the characters and plot and would work better as a stand-alone piece, rather than appealing more to SP7 fans and not really anyone else!
Hearing the Black Keys blaring during the chaos of the ending was probably the coolest shit I have ever seen. Gave me chills. Wow oh wow.
Yeah that was my favourite part.
I thought i recognised it!!!
They did a really good job with the special effects to make Steve look shorter and wider to play the monster.
I can't wait until The Pond is released! The hype is real!
Houston Jones the pond is Oscar winner for sure
"And the Oscar goes to ...... The Pond" 🎉🎉🔥🔥🎊🎊
could you try bodybuilder vs windigo?
Oh look it's the strongest man in the world
I don’t know what to think without Steve’s narration
Did you sign the package?
Oh my gosh, I can't believe they finally showed Alfredo's face and body in a video!
Side note, this was honestly amazing. The acting, the special effects, it was incredible. Can't wait for more and more short films from the SP7 crew!
CAPTAIN the monster
When the monster showed up I immediately thought that
HallowsKeeper8 lmaoooo
5:25 "We're gonna pay for it, I promise. We're gonna clean it up too..." *proceeds to walk out without cleaning it up or paying for anything*
Steven Friedman Yeah they just straight up walked out
I think they just didn't show that part due to time constraints. They probably just never got to film it, but they do show them walking out with a few cases of beer.
They may not have cleaned it up, but they definitely paid for it...
Holy shit James is definitely a water warrior
Yo it’s Alfredo!!!!!!!
holy fuck
Alfredo origin story.
The cinematography of this short was amazing
I love the fact that Cib dies, not that i don't like him because he is one of my fave's at sp7, but because it actually made the movie more personal and I actually nearly cried when he died because if none of the main characters died it would have had a way different affect at the end. The best cinematography I have seen in a short film. The acting was just marvelous. The camera shots were beautiful and the story was very compelling. It kept my attention throughout and I went through many emotions. Laughter and crying.
Overall I rate The Pond a 10/10
best short film
This is the woods silly goose. The Pond will come out 2018.
Jeremiah I was talking about the trailer
Batuhan Sahin Understoodable
wait a minute!! What if the monster was Parker all along who resurrected and finally got his revenge on Cib?!?!?!
LyfesAMeme !!! What if Famous Actor James Allen McCune underwent a new experimental drug...
LyfesAMeme !!! Chronology doesnt work out, locals said it was a ore affirmed thing that happens every year or so where parker was only killed a few months ago
alucard971 XD seems legitimate
The Pond seems like a promising film, can’t wait til it’s in theatres
Gabriel Tzukishiro ???

Like I said though I understand your angle but it didn't serve the story or pacing better to just have Elliot die out of nowhete.
I didn’t know this was a alfredo face reveal
Nancy Ebi Yoooo this comment had me laughing my ass off
Wow your hair grew back really fast
Oh shit heya Kyroz, This is a amazing vid ain't it. Also nice work you do
Is it true Cib a stinky housemate who collects niche cheese brands?
HEAD ASS
Kryoz crazy how nature does dat
I came to the comments to make that joke and only to make that joke. Well done lol
was that monster alfredo?
talking about the pond btw
Whats the pond?
Wow guys! such an amazing short with great acting and cinematography. I honestly wasn't expecting this to be this good! Looking forward to more short and hopefully feature lenght films from you guys.
Sourcefed died for this, and I'm ok with that.
Well put
I’ll never be okay with sourcefed dying, but this is damn good content.
I'm not, this is a pretty bad film
This is a promising first step for these boys and girl. Crazy excited for what they have in store for the future!
Best supporting actor: Devin
Best Actor: James
Lowkey cried about the Cib incident
WorgenatorWoW Cib incident?
Chris LaFever when he dies
Didn't want to completely spoil it, hence the "incident"
Congrats on an awesome first short film! The Pleasant Oaks Sheriff car looked great! Fantastic release for Halloween!
Thank you for providing us with the best cop car! Anyone who needs a cop car for production, these guys are awesome!
Plot twist: the demon was Parker getting revenge on Cib for his death
That's not a plot twist, that's cannon right?
I wouldn't be surprised
MLGhwnt has come a long way
Yeah us OG’s been watching my boi grow
Not a proper OG MLGhwnt fan but I did watch a little Aviator Gaming and Bahmlounge. I'm glad that my horniness paid off.
Flabbymeat I'm pretty much the exact same but I watched a little bit more bahm then aviator
The Minecraft king is no longer
Now that was pretty damn amazing. It was kind of strange seeing everyone especially Cib act like they were 'normal' for a while but it was good acting and pretty dang good editing. As a viewer, I'm pretty darn proud of you guys.
When Cib kissed Mimi tho. And the following interaction between Mimi, Elliot and Cib.. Really good stuff
Alex Love 100% agree with every point. Great soundtrack and animations. Can't wait for the next!
Alex Love agreed, the daytime monster really made the whole thing stand out. Acting was superb as well
Yeah agreed, however, while I do also agree with the character development, they did well to do it in such a small period of time, especially since its only a short film too.
Tbh I felt like crying when cib died. The emotion felt so real and Mimi, Steven, and James did a great job portraying their emotion in that scene but overall it was a great short film!
I love how everyone immediately launches into a detailed critique of the movie. Reminds me of that south park episode about yelp reviewers
This ramped up my anxiety from 0-100 real quick
I love that James actually used the gun he picked up. So many times would movies overlook that.
Nope
Steven listens to a voice mail from his dad, leads to nothing.
And that's barely like 1/4 of the short. They overlooked a lot of things.
And they counted the shots right. Only 5 shots were fired prior leaving the one bullet available for the final shot.
Daniel Rodriguez it feels like a really well done 1st and 3rd act of a full length. Amazing potential
+Daniel Rodriguez Not everything has to lead to something, it's notl ike it happens like that in real life.
I think the point of all that was to help show their character and bring more depth
honestly i dig sugar pine 7's music taste so much
JordanCCFC17 _ you should checkout Steven's playlists on Spotify, just search his name
Great ending just wish it was longer, it felt so short and rushed but it’s understandable due to the budget and time. You guys went for quality over quantity and it was so worth it, thank you
Congrats! The fact that a UA-cam channel like yours can produce this kind of work is insane!
Saul Gonzalez the only good things about this were the shooting and editing, which can be bought, everything else was lazy and weak.
Sam Scholz You're on UA-cam going through every comment that says this is even remotely good and trashing it. You have a problem.
Jackson Nunn nice personal insults against me. Real mature dude. It definitely hurts my points when you insult me and makes your argument that much stronger. My criticism is constructive but you don't like it because it's honest and real. I never claimed to be able to do better so idk why you brought that up. Reply back when you have actual counters to what I said showing how I was wrong.
This just started and I'm already freaking out because the quality of this is amazing, you guys are seriously talented 🙌🏽
"Whatdyou think, monsters?" BEST OPENING LINE YOUVE ALREADY WON AN OSCAR
Imagine this over an hour, how much more build up and anticipation there could have been. This is just an amazing taste of what these guys are truly capable of and I look forward to what they have ready for us in the future.
part of me was expecting Alfredo to be the monster tbh
That was Alfredo's daddy-o.
Becky Jones i know i didnt expect it to be autumn
He was the monster
Becky Jones STILL UNCONFIRMED
Becky Jones why do you think that wasn’t Alfredo?
they established characters, explained backstories, created tension, and told a story in a span of 22 minutes. this was really well made and i hope the crew is proud and know that they're incredibly talented.
Right? I felt so many different emotions during that small time frame
They didn't really explain backstories, they set a lot of shit up but that's a weird thing to compliment imo
establishing characters includes their backstory, first of all.

But there’s no denying they have talent. Cinematography and sound design, as well as acting were on point. Mimi was fuckin ridiculously good.
They didn't establish the couple or Devin or Cib and only the dad backstory was explained
*Plot twist:* this was Alfredo's face reveal
I think James’ character was really the best. I think if you guys ever make a sequel to this, you should go more into detail about Steven and his dad and more about why Cib was important to the group
Great job SP7! Loved it
Lily When James shot the gun I totally did not expect that. And I am blown away by how much I cared for Cib, Devin and Elliot. RIP
Just a couple friends getting murdered in the woods.
The scene where Steven is holding her back from going to Elliot is so real omg, you guys did a really good job 👏🏻
I think this is actually really good for a first time short film with only a four day production, if they had more time you can tell they could've really made it something great. I think the premise is better suited for a feature and honestly I'd like to see them make one.
I WASN'T EXPECTING THIS UNTIL TOMRORROW, T H A N K Y O U F O R T H I S
sierraalexis he said Halloween right? That’s today!
This was actually very enjoyable. Good directing. Good job to James and the rest of SP7
Jeremy Hayes you said this like 3 minutes after it was uploaded
Samuel Nanke he couldve watched it on Rooster Teeth first. I watched it last night.
No way you watched the entire thing in 5 min
James truly is a water warrior
Dang it felt like I was watching a Netflix original
Edit: I love James for that! Stuff like that needs to happen more in movies.
Congrats!
why would you read the comments before watching?
Yeah they'll get better over time it's their first one so I'm not trying to be super judgy
Definitely good for their first, I do feel a lot was left unfinished and they should have pushed for a little more time and had it out on roosterteeth first today
u couldnt manage to stop reading the comment when u realized what it was?
I think a lot of the inconsistencies had to do with them only having 3 days to shoot the whole thing. I know Steve said he wished it was a bit longer. I'm hoping we see some follow through in another short some day :)
So good, esp for the time restraint and budget you guys had. I actually jumped once. Loved the gunshot from James at the end.
/\utumn needs a Snickers... she's not herself when she's hungry....
That was pretty freaking awesome! Nice work guys! It gets me hyped for the next project you guys take on!
That trailer at the start FUCKED ME UP!
Seeing Parker again was so nice
Holy crap, this was awesome! Cinematography was great, acting was fantastic. Good job guys!
Dylan M yes both of those were great lets focus on the positive
The Woods is back on UA-cam !!!!
Everyone tweet this to Chance the Rapper
They couldn't have done this without him
wait why was he thanked?
Daniel Merren They only filmed The Woods in 3 days because James wanted to go to a Chance the Rapper concert
holy shit this is gold, is this how you guys met Alfredo?
RUSTA ROKKET spice nah others are saying it parkers final goodbye. But I wouldn't be to surprised with either...
Everything you guys make is fucking incredible! So proud of all of you.
It's back, baby!
Mimi was so fucking good in this
YEAH SHE WAS
HOLY CRAP YOU'RE FAMOUS ACTOR JAMES ALLEN McCUNE!
I'm so glad I could introduce you to Sugar Pine! Also no comment.
If SourceFed hadn't been cancelled we wouldn't have gotten this great content.
Anthony Salgado facts
I can’t stop laughing at the trailer this is brilliant lmao
Super pine 7 is officially cemented as some of my favorite creators on this platform. They have shown me that creativity can be shown and done well. I love this short film and I love there other content. Super pine 7, I'm so happy I found this!!!!
And this is why they won show of the year
Thoroughly impressed, great work on your first short film. Amazing camera work, great acting and perfect music. A+
A+ implies it has no flaws. I'd give it a B, B- or B+. While great, there were flaws to it.
Toby 3 days to film I'd say they hit it out of the park.
I agree with Toby. Ima be nice and give it a B for it being the first film. Imo, it needed a better ending, better looking monster, and actors that can display emotions better. I love the bloody gore scenes tho.
It has a couple flaws, here and there, but it was great. I can't wait to see what you guys could do with a bigger budget and larger time slot
Well done better than most modern scary movies.
Despite all the careful nit-picking in the other comments, this one gets to the point.
eh, this was less of a horror/scary and more of a thriller i feel.
TheHollowGrey - For a very low budget youtube movie made by a few friends, I think it’s pretty fucking good.
I'm just glad Steve, Mimi, and James all left the cabin like normal people.
They didn't follow the horror cliche of staying in the cabin. I love that, lmao.
They actually acted like normal people would in real life. That's what I love about this.
I don't like the scenarios that would never happen in other horror films, bc no one is dumb enough to stick around long enough for them to happen. The acting in this was refreshing too
If The Pond doesn’t come out this summer I shall be very disappointed in you boys
THAT ENDING AND MUSIC WAS AMAZING! GREAT JOB GUYS :D
ShredderGG little black submarines by the black keys if you were wondering
Ethan Quirk Thanks man!
all of their music is amazing, I was so glad when I found them
The fact you made a movie on UA-cam with a UA-cam budget that is television quality or better is downright incredible. Congrats boys
Fuck yeah James!!
BagelTornado FUCK YEAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH
BagelTornado i actually ended up yelling that lol
Comin in clutch!
The lighting in this was so good. Good job to the director and cinematographer.
So glad you guys stuck with the Harvey Weinstein Association of Massages despite all of the bad press. Good to see one youtube channel with a decent moral code.
emiilyshe bad press?
UndergroundMarket Many, and I mean many, sexual assault and harrasment claims
emiilyshe I thinks that's why it was added in
emiilyshe I mean if nobody was talking about him they wouldn't have a reason to put that in
Jasmine Renee wow you just don't get jokes do you
rewatching in 2023, miss u boys
So who pissed off Alfredo?
A friend and I signed up for rooster teeth first just so we could make popcorn and watch it together as soon as we could. Amazing short film, especially for a first.
This made me so emotional, I have been with this channel since before The Steven Suptic Experience and my god.. I am so fucking proud of everyone wow.. I teared up a little and I couldn't continue watching this movie without thinking "holy fuck this is good. the acting exceeded my expectations."
Damn, dude. Chill the fuck out, you maniac.
James' acting is bloody phenomenal.
WHERE WAS FAMOUS ACTOR JAMES ALLEN MCCUNE???
He worked his cute little butt off off-screen this time :)
He literally killed Cib
Probably hard to include him since he is SAG.
HI HELLO
He failed the audition...
This is cinema quality acting FOR FREE! Love it you guys. Keep it up.
I *NEED* a feature length film from SP7
That was so amazing. I haven't been so emotionally invested in a group of people in a horror film in so long. I even found myself going "noooo!" involuntarily when people died and cheering out loud for other scenes. Thanks for this. Please make a feature length film, I'll buy a ticket.
Holy fuck that went from Foreshadowing to 100 real quick.
You guys never told us you could actually act :O BRAVO!
Isn't the majority of their show just acting....LOL
Fkn Dingaling yes
You must be pretty stupid if you never knew they could act.. Do you think their videos are just real vlogs lmao?
watch Akrasia then
I think he meant dramatic horror type of acting lmao
This was really really good, i loved the ending and the camera work was amazing.
Holy crap. I actually got chills lol. Not many movies/short films have ever done that to me. That was amazing, especially for your first one. The pacing was a little quick, it could've definitely been a full length film. And honestly, Mimi surprised the hell outta me with how well she acted. Seriously, that was great.
*cib dies*
Me: OH NAW DUDE
That shit was sad see my man die like that
Watching Cib die was unpleasant because I always imagined him as a puppy.
Sugar Boys XD So true. He is the most fragile of the group. RIP Cib
RIP Cib, we all knew this was comming.
PS: At the end nothing was said no Cib was harmed in making of this movie, so, you know... ;)
Sugar Boys SPOILERS(kinda my fault though)
123GoForMe That makes me so sad
Right! They really know how to f with us
holy shit, that was incredible. the cinematography?? the lighting in some of those shots??? absolutely terrific. the way you guys shot devin's death in particular was fantastic-brutal, but fantastic. also wow fucking. you guys really nailed the scene where cib dies as far as acting goes, I felt that in my gut. ouch. all in all this is amazing and it's amazing that you guys can produce such wildly different content, comparing this to the usual sp7 videos; I always look forward to everything you guys make. this was phenomenal. keep it up.
thatweirdonamedcindy “also wow fucking”
I appreciate your concern for my intellectual integrity, I do, but I genuinely liked the video and reacted accordingly! no problems here :'))
rayman mottet yeah that's a Forever Mood
Inhuman I definitely see where you're coming from! I think most of the narrative problems really just stem from the fact that this is a relatively short film-if it had run longer there'd definitely be more depth to the characters and plot and would work better as a stand-alone piece, rather than appealing more to SP7 fans and not really anyone else!
The editing was fantastic and so was the music choice. This was so good, I'm forcing everyone to watch this!
Cib's trailer is the highlight of this.
Hey for your first short film that was not bad
SPOILER ALERT:
THAT QUICKFIRE KILL FROM JAMES AT THE END
SO GOOD!!!
This is like five hundred times better than that corridor digital series and that had a 6 bazillion dollar budget. Excellent job guys!
