It was a ketchup and cheese sandwich! We'd also do mayonnaise and cheese! Mamaw and Papaw made homemade Apple butter every year. We had an apple tree and would also get some from our neighbor off of their tree in exchange for some of the food we grew. Any extra apples we needed, we'd drive to the apple orchard that Papaw's friend owned up number 9 every year!

I wish I could visit in the fall Sis went to Asheville once on vaca saw the hardware store Georgia Bonesteel had a corner for quilt notions Said its a good place to live n retire ❤

Beautiful!!! My memories aren’t in North Carolina, but what was called “north Louisiana”, and it seems like we have a lot in common, whether Louisiana or North Carolina. Memories of long ago and good times!

We were in Fayetteville a while, when my husband was stationed at Ft. Bragg! Small World! I'm still alive praise God! 🙏 I have a follow up appointment with my endocrinologist today actually! ❤️
Got a ? For you..Im in NC. My grandmothers were from Georgia...Growing up i always heard lands o goshen...what in tarnation..things like that..and alot of my friends also heard these..but mine also use to say ' carn sarnit lol' dont know if its spelled right..but have you ever heard that?😅😂😂😂
