Don’t you wish he was your neighbor. Really..these are great ideas and collaborating and working with him would be the best. Thanks Gavin and to your wonderful wife for being so supportive.
Gavin what are you doing...all the years of watching you and you have never not hung your light meter on your stand. Everything else top quality as always.
Chloe as a blonde WORKS! this is a great tutorial and ive got a couple of strip boxes i bought for a different project that ive not been able to move into a money maker. this might be a good use of them. holy CATS! you made the PS work look so easy. ive tried and tried and tried and used PS Elements and ive never been able to figure out how to use it. nice work
I think this was one of your best videos. An appropriate and beautiful model with great wardrobe really suited the shot. I thought the texture completed the scene perfectly. Thanks.
Gavin, greetings from the US. I love these tutorials of yours because they demonstrate what can be accomplished with not a lot of equipment, and, more importantly, not a lot of physical space. And your enthusiasm is contagious. Keep up the great work!
This was a wonderful video from beginning to end. Loved the images, loved getting a good look bts and your use of texture in PS was really interesting for me. I really hope you can make more of these videos occasionally Gavin. Thanks
I kept thinking during your post processing, "Why is he leaving the bkgd stands in the image?" Head slap here! 🤕At 11:00 you remind me the reason of this video is Behind the Scenes to keep a visual reminder of the setup. 🤣 That is how mesmerizing your videos are - I got caught up in your lighting strategies and forgot the topic! Well done, Gavin, your style always holds attention!
G-man!!!!! That was awesome!!! You make it look so easy!!! Great job on making the backdrop! Your teaching is amazing and easy to understand especially when you have BTS and quick photoshop tutorials that are easy to do. Keep up the great work!!!!
It's great to watch you enjoying your work. Great video & tutorial, as always. Love the way you explain the whole process from setup to post-processing. Very interesting and informative. Thank you.
Really enjoyed this video, I usually watch landscape types but you really do so well on these. Your photoshop help is also appreciated. One last thing Chole is a brilliant model.
A great reminder for making BTS images of shoots. So many shoots that I look back at and regret not taking the wide angle shot of the set ups. Are you using different audio set-up in the studio shoots - sounds different to normal? The post processing ideas are very helpful.
Hi Alan. Same audio, new studio. It's a bit of an echo chamber but we're working on it. It was also the day I had a heavy cold and was rapidly loosing my voice 🤒
Thanks for the helpful video, can you please tell us what hardware and software you're using to bring up the Images via the tethered tools cable? It looks like a nice streamline solution to help clients see what's going on. Thanks again.
Hi Rajesh. I use a TetherTools USB2 active cable to connect the Olympus E-M1 Mark iii to my Lenovo Miix 2 in 1 Windows 10 laptop / tablet. That runs Olympus Capture and Olympus Workspace software to tether (Connect) and display full screen (Workspace).
I'm very glad that the photoshop bit is back to your videos, keep it going
I'm always happy Watching Gavin hoey teaching photography...
What a beautiful model! You made her look even more beautiful. Great job!!!
Chloe won it at 3:02 when she peeked below the softbox... Always enjoy your presentations Gavin. Thank you.

Don’t you wish he was your neighbor. Really..these are great ideas and collaborating and working with him would be the best. Thanks Gavin and to your wonderful wife for being so supportive.

So effortless when you have such an experienced model.
Music around 6:24 has a bit of a legend of Zelda feel. Always enjoy your work Gavin. Cheers.

Thanks for always taking into account those who have smaller Studio spaces Gavin Hoey!
Thanks Alexander. My new studio is only 15 feet (less sofa) but I'm super happy in there 😁

great image! Just did my first studio shoot the other day and it went great! thanks for the BTS. Definitely gave me some good ideas!
Thank you for sharing. I wonder why didn't expand the texture (or the backdrop curtain) to be a background and cover all the stands. Thanks
Very interesting and inspiring. You can learn a lot. I recommend.
This is excellent work! You are making everything look so easy!

Great video! And it's definitely not the first time Chloe has been in front of the camera.
You're not wrong there Reinhard, for example... ua-cam.com/video/uTfgL9GE-oA/v-deo.html

You're a wizard!
Love the bts. I would have just cropped the light stand out and been done!
Me to Eddie but just occasionally it fun to do something a little left field 😉
cool one. love what you do. thanks for sharing.
Another great video Gavin, new to flash photography wondered what the odd rectangle soft boxes were used for, now I know.
I use strip boxes in ways they're probably not designed to be used Tony... but it get's the job done 😉
Excelente motiovador que hace ver tan facil de realizar esas inclreibles fotos con grandes tecnicas, felicidades
Thanks for the helpful video, can you please tell us what hardware and software you're using to bring up the Images via the tethered tools cable? It looks like a nice streamline solution to help clients see what's going on. Thanks again.
You really are the master! Wow. :)

Great tutorial MR. Gavin
Can you plz make a video on how to make background and which material used and colour 🙏🏻 video is very helpfull 🎉
Hi Gavin, Enjoyed and learnt a lot from you.
If you could explain how you tethered your olympus to tablet that would be great.
Lovely! Thanks! Great tutorial
