Thank you for bringing me down the roads I used to travel in my semi back in the 80's 90's and 2000's!
Used to do P&D for Magnum in the Brainerd/Baxter Crosby, Ironton and Aiktin areas in the mid 2000's. My favorite part of the state.
And it was lightly snowing in southern Minnesota while I watched this. Lol
The snow storms have the Christmas lights going up this year by the way is the light challenge still on

Glad they let you untarp inside where it's a little warmer and easier, safe travels during this winter as well, I haul cars out of Colorado and drove though some of the blizzard in North Dakota.

josh another great video mate,you do well with the freezing temperatures i like the cold but when it gets below minus 5 thats enough for mei love small towns too,i grew up on a farm just a few kilometres from a very small town and went to primary school there till i went to highschool,the school only had 30 kids from mostly truck driving families and farming families i had an awsome childhood in the 70,s and 80,s and the school only had 5 teachers
When I drive through small towns, I'm always thinking, "Who lives there? How did they decide to settle down here, of all places? What is life like in this town? Is it very different from the place I live... it must be. Keep on truckin' !!!

Here is a little trick my grandfather taught me from being in the British army.
He would get patrolium jelly / vasaline, he would apply it to the glass of all the lights like applying polish and rub the patrolium jelly till it goes clear, my grandfather said that it helps to reduce the build up of ice and snow on the lenses of the lights, the downfall of it is that you have to keep applying it last thing at night or after a long stop over.
Another trick is to spray WD40 or equivalent on a rag and give your light's a wipe over, making shore not to smear your lenses of you lights.
But the same deal as patrolium jelly, last thing at night and any long stay over.
Just a couple of old school tricks, but it does not stop the build up completely, it just slows it down.
But most of all stay safe, keep the rubber side down and the shinny side up and we will see you on the back haule brother, plus blessings to you, britt and the baby, plus to all your furr babies.
Keep the snow up there. Be safe in your travels sir.

Man, I know you are the expert up there but I would have a winter cover and a couple of fuel filters in the box if it was me
Me too. But it's not cold enough for that yet. The engine will overheat still with a winter cover on at this temperature.

My man it might be fun at the start of the season it maybe a few weeks into it. I know you will start calling olde blue oldman blue for the white hair all over him. Get aggravated if you must but it's just a natural part of the year we're all going to have to deal with in one fashion or another. Try not to rip too much hair out. Think of the reward at the end of your road trip a nice warm wife to come home to and the rockstar welcome. Y O U R O C K and you have lots of pig to bring home instead of just the bacon.
