Liz & Alex
About us: We are Liz and Alex, a married couple that makes outdoor adventure and travel videos. We strongly believe that dreams are meant to be pursued, and we hope to motivate others to get outside their comfort zones and do the same. We are full-time nomads and divide up our time between traveling abroad and the other part of the time in our self converted van all the while fitting in loads of outdoor-based adventure along the way! Our goal is to show you amazing places and inspire you to get outside your comfort zone and pursue your dreams...whatever they may be.
Bike touring is an eating event with a cycling problem.
😂🤣😂 literally LOL’ed!! 😂 💯%
Wow when you dropped your wallet, that could have been so bad! Phew 😊 I apologise for our English weather and wonky roads.
Really enjoying your videos, watching them while out on my own bike and having breaks.
That’s awesome that you are watching them on your bike! Glad you are enjoying the videos :)
What time of the year was when you started the trip? It was springtime?
Loving this series already and it's only part 2 🙂. You guys were in my neck of the woods in the last episode. Looking forward to the next one 👍.
Aww thank you so much! This really motivates us to keep putting these together :)
love these vids so much! looking forward to more episodes :)
Aww Thank you!! ☺️☺️ Helps to motivate us 🙌🏼
Loving your videos. Can only imagine how many episodes it’s going to take to get to Istanbul! 50+!😱
We are overwhelmed by how much content we have! I think it’s over 2.5 TB! We filmed more initially because it was so new to us, but gradually filmed less.
@@PursuingMountains You’ve made a great job of splicing it all together. 👏
Cool vids and interested in your visors. Where’d you get them?
Thanks! We got them from Dabrim. They’ve been awesome. We have the Rezzo visor 4 inch. We have a limited time discount code if you want to get anything from their website for 10% off: PMbrim10
@@PursuingMountains thank you so very much. Really enjoying the vids and the adventures.
homie lost his wallet??!?! thats crazy, good eye for seeing it fall!
Yeah, that was a close one 😥
Glad you enjoyed it here in the UK :)
Thanks! People were so nice there :)
Looking forward to seeing what you think of Belgium, my home country.
Thanks! We loved Belgium as you’ll see in the next couple videos.
Bloody hell, that’s not the usual way. Why not Newhaven- Dieppe? Great photos right on my doorstep. I saw sittingbourne bearstead and white horse wood
We were trying to go the more adventurous way 🤷♂️. I don’t think I’d go that way again, but it was nice to see.
To carry all your gear on a backpack is as ridiculous as the following. Back when people only rode donkeys someone was spotted riding a donkey carrying a bag of mellons over his shoulder bearing the weight of the mellons. When asked why not strap the bag to the donkey's back he answers that he doesn't want to overburden the donkey. Your traditional setup with panniers is the most practical and, as you showed, it doesn't have to be heavy, without cameras. Let the cool people use their hip setup, take tons of time to reach for a jacket or food and carry the mellons on their back.
hooked on episode 1, excited for whats to come!
Aww that’s so awesome to hear! We just posted episode 12 so there’s lots you can catch up on 🙌🏼
Yes the cycling infrastructure in the UK is poor generally with far too little separation of cyclists from motor transport. Going to be interesting to see how other countries fare. Oh - you insulted 5.5 miliion Scots. Scotland is not part of England! The UK is made up of four Countries (Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland).
I don’t recall us saying anything about scottland being part of England in the video…? If it seemed that way, we definitely didn’t mean it that way! We are very aware they are different. We’ve made friends while traveling in a several different countries in the UK :) Scotland is super high on our bucket list too.
@grahamcastle8189 you probaby misheard at 19:26 where Liz says "Scotland and England"?
Loving the videos! Looking forward to the next episode.
Thank you! That’s so nice to hear!
Thats some hard bikeing, in personal experience the rain over there is brutal!
Its a different cold and the "little" hills seem to go on forever.
It was pretty rough 😅
UK is worst place for getting your bike stolen. Glad you got out with your bikes
Really?! We are good about keeping our eyes on our bikes and taking turns shopping etc which helps I think.
😊
comment for the YT algorithms 🙂
