Although I am always holding out for some new anime content this is a nice thing to see. Reinvigorating the market and advertising the novel publication can only serve as a positive note over all. The novel does sound good and it is really reasonably smart move to see how you can pick it up out of curiosity and have a quick breakdown of what happened previously, showing how much Kamachi cares for the fans and new readers.
I think I would do a massive campaign to re-read all volumes to the latest in just 4 months to catch up and understand the wonders of a certain magical index. Luv it 🥰😍

I love NT1 a lot, i feel like its overly disliked. Obviously the main reasoning is because Hamazura is basically the main protagonist of this one, but its also just a really nice lower stakes story in the leadup to NT3 where shit really starts hitting the fan. Dragon Rider Hamazura is peak and i miss it.

Hamazura's flawed self is mostly from SS1, where he was a Skill-Out extremist with a huge hatred of espers, and giving Level 0s a bad name with his and his gang's activities. It took Touma, a fellow Level 0, punching him out and telling him to help others in trouble instead to make him realize his mistakes and try to change his ways. This is the catalyst for his character development starting from OT15

Yeah the dragon rider scenes were really cool, I enjoyed the descriptions of the chase sequence
