I just recently became aware of rock wrapping, and I think this is the clearest and most creative of the YT videos on wrapping that I’ve found. Thank you for sharing 😊
@@tonywilson1078 Oh I love that comment Tony. If you have a crack at it, let me know how it goes. I definitely had to make 3 or 4 before I got the hang of it. Thanks so much for watching ❤️
Thank you for showing your process with such clear explanations! I tried to figure out rock wrapping on my own and failed. This video gives me the confidence to try again.
There were lots of awesome makes here Alana… just incredible what can be done with a rock and a piece of string… and a very creative mind of course!! I would be worried that they’d unravel on me… I know you said you used glue on a couple, but most often the string wasn’t secured at all, except for being tucked under itself!?! I’ve had a plan to paint some kindness rocks as soon as I have a craft room again… I was gonna leave them hidden at a local park… wouldn’t it be awesome if I did some wrapping on some too?!? 😁 Thanks, as always, Alana, for sharing your incredible talent with us… I truly appreciate you! 🤗 🤗 Oodles of love from Nat. ♥️♥️🇦🇺
@@mattersofthehartbynat8815 I did end up putting dabs of PVA glue on after they were finished for peace of mind because mine will likely be handled a lot. I love kindness rocks and saw some scattered around a beach park once, Great idea! I’m excited for your craft room and what you will do in it. Have an amazing day ❤️❤️❤️Alana
@@julieparker6038 Thanks as always Julie. There is something really primally satisfying about each one when you make them. I’ll probably always look for rocks to make into these now lol 😂
@@soulsignature1453 Thanks Rena, I checked out your channel. I understand why this would resonate with you. Once I had made these I noticed I just wanted to touch them and hold them all the time. So do other people. Very relaxing and Zen. I think they would be very powerful in the right hands ❤️
I absolutely LOVE these and will be giving them a go. I love to felt rocks so these will be a great addition to the bowl. Thank you sho much for this tutorial it looks doable for me.
@@bethbowles7525 Thanks Beth. I pick up cheap jewellery from thrift shops and charity shops for the beads and the washers were from an old costume necklace. Appreciate you watching ❤️
I love the natural materials. You have such busy, clever fingers!!🪷💐🪷 Isn't Whites Bay beautiful? My son spears butterfish there. Rarangi is spectacular when the ice plants on the beach are in flower like multi coloured axminster carpet for miles.
