Worth It: A Michigan Ski Film (Documentary)

Just one season after taking up backcountry skiing, Randy and Chantel Folkenberg move from the outdoor paradise of the Pacific Northwest to Berrien Springs, Michigan. Soon after their arrival, while spending a summer afternoon at Warren Dunes State Park on the shores of Lake Michigan, Randy and Chantel see an opportunity to pull out their skis once again and invest in the experiences of the moment.
While location, weather, and timing make for a more unique ski experience than previous bluebird days in the Cascades, Randy and Chantel’s skiing during the winter of 2018-2019 turns out to be more than worth it.

Having skied in Northern CA for the few years we lived there, I sat mesmerized for 18 minutes while watching this film!! Love the Folkenbergs' determination to make fun wherever they find themselves!! You have to be fit to do this without a chairlift! Amazing documentary. Thank you!!

You guys have to try Hoffmaster state park and Muskegon state park both are great just like your spot! Also if you guys are looking to shredd Mt.Bohemia in the UP they have the best terrain in the state !
