I'm a feral main and did try m+ on beta. So far the gameplay is slower than on retail and I'm ok with that. There is two reasons for that -> energy node got nerfed And the biggest part, imo, is that we have like 7-9% haste in lfr gear. With more haste it should feel better but not as degenerated as on retail
It's definitely a different mindset they're going for, rake spreading may not be worth the energy cost. My testing was done with champion tier set at 611 ilvl, 19% passive non-combat haste, still feels slow. I also don't mind the slower gameplay as long as damage is somewhat compensated. Out of interest did you take Raging Fury or Tiger's Tenacity? I found Tiger's Tenacity helped a bit with smoothing out the energy starvation.

Feral in war within right now is top 5 dps in raid. Ofc there will be tuning, but let's see.
Yup, convoke was super overpowered in shadowlands beta, it got adjusted before launch.
I would like to give feral druid a go, is it all that different in the current retail patch?
Go for it, there’s nothing to lose from being a furry.
