That’s a lot of gorgeousness! 🤯. Love the yellow 😳 I so want to start faceting on my machine but it’s very intimidating. Your giving me more inspiration ❤️ I’ll try it someday 😆 Love your channel and excited for Sticks and Stones 🥳 Stay Crystal 💫 Mari 😁
They're all gorgeous, and even though the blue is glass, it's a stunner too. I've been wanting to see what sunstone looks like faceted and it's very cool. The manufactured ruby is probably my favorite for the same reason you stated, the color is so rich. I'd love to see that garnet faceted! Please do! Your patience is amazing. Thank you for taking all that time to show us how it's done.
I'd be thrilled if these stones or others like them turned up in your Etsy store. Especially the Pharaoh's eye. What a wonderful gift you have! It's fun to see you working on them. I really love to watch your rockhounding videos as I can no longer do it myself. Thank you so much for sharing.
Theo, you are such a talented artist! I truly love all of these, but ironically the lab ruby and glass one are my favs, with the Moldavite as a close third.
I love all of these, especially the ruby, so beautiful! The moldavite is also amazing, but so is the blue glass! Awesome! I could see you doing a whole channel called faceting fun, and I would watch it and love it! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Theo! I really like “how did they do that videos.” I’m left handed, so I tend to do everything backwards first. Lol Stay safe and have a great weekend. Yeah, I’m thinking the Portuguese cut is one of my favorites.
I couldn't have been more excited about this video...and then I had to wait to watch it until I got my post-ill'n pile of chores done, lol. "I'm not going to apologize, I'm sorry" 🤣🤣 Classic. But seriously, this is such a great view from the start to the finish and the selection of patterns and stones (and why). Great tips like the low grit tip, makes sense but I know I would have made that mistake thinking you're being thorough. The Cleopatra's (you've renamed it) Eye turned out so nice, love that cut. What are you using to dop? Love how the sunstone turned out, so stoked to play with some of those. The Moldavite is stupid gorgeous, I'd love to see that set! Thanks for the great video and now I wish I could go hop on my machine though I'm still waiting on laps and dops, Whaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!
So, so, so beautiful! All of them are so gorgeous. That pharaohs eye in lab grown ruby is phenomenal! The way the light play is inside the stone, is so gorgeous, and makes it look like its casting fire! Its such a good choice for stone and cut! Wow! All five of them are incredible! I love the pixel cut too, but it needs to be in a clear stone but one where the light play is better. I was thinking maybe a clear corundum? Idk. Just thinking. But excellent job. You are a master of beauty with fingerprints! lol great video!
I feel you on the "hard to film" aspect of faceting. The full process is repetitive. However, I enjoyed the multi-stone journey here. Thanks for sharing, and I look forward to seeing more cut stones!
Beautiful. My fav is the Portuguese cut. I'd love to see you do a lone star cut on a light colored stone then put it in your Stay store for me to buy. I kid of course. I really would like to see how to cut the lonestar.
6:05 I'm doing fine and having a great day. Thank you. How about you? I think it would be really awesome to bid on a piece you create on eBay or your Etsy page. I probably wouldn't win an auction, but I would bid. I'd love to have a piece like that. The pixel cut is my favorite. You should do one of these as ASMR.
Not gonna lie I wasn't fond of the lab ruby until it was cut! I couldn't see the beauty in it but I do now. And the glass is so pretty they all are but those are the two that surprised me the most. I can't even decide a favorite they are all wonderful. Do you ever do emerald cuts?
Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: How much time does it take to facet each stone? How much pressure do you put in the stone when faceting?? I never got into facetting...my Dad did. I've always been into "fetching" the stones more than "finishing" the stones. I can cab and polish but no fancy stuff. After seeing you facetting stones...makes me appreciate even more...every shimmer, glimmer, and glitter of my faceted stones! You rock dude!!!
Your making me want to get a faceting machine man! Lol there’s so much I need first… that moldavite turned out amazing! You’re going to make some money off that if you sell it at the renascence fair!!!
Thought on your makes challenge this year either you or katie could do a repeat of her attempt at the stained glass stone lamp. Do it with iris agate That would be blow your mind beautiful
So, are the directions for all those patterns available for downloading? I took a faceting class and loved it. Also faceting machine, what is it and who makes it. Great job, Theo!!! Yes, please more videos on faceting. I know repetition is key!
Wow sir i loved this video. Some day i hope to own a faceting machine and flat lap. So cool i have some clear quarts and orange calcedony id love to see if i could facet. Not to mention i have a stone that contains tangerine/ grapefruit pinky orange bands of crystal to cut free and see if i could facet
Day was made better by a video. Bad fire in Hope, BC getting a lot of bad air quality stuck is the valley's, asthmatic, farm worker. The smoke is getting to me, dizziness, nausea, low energy and brain fog. Praying for rain.
You are such a Hoot! "I'm not going to apologize. I'm Sorry!" Love this, but could Never do it myself... Too much work on all those faces.. ~ I never saw a Golden Ruby before. looks amazing. Yes, the Golden Ruby is my Fave for color & Cut..
Awesome!!! We love that you shared this, we have 6lbs of sunstone that we would love to find someone to cut for us, maybe you would be interested ? How much would you charge and would you be interested in trade for material?
"I am not going to apologize for it. Sorry" Oh you sweet wonderful man! You are to kind even to say you won't say sorry for it.
They were all so beautiful, the Moldivite was gorgeous! I really enjoyed seeing you create these , and I’m learning a lot! Thanks Theo!👍👍😃
“I’m not gonna apologize for it. I am sorry.” 😂😂😂
I legit was coming to say the exact same thing! lol 😂 he’s funny!
Excellent job, Theo! I'm glad that you do what makes you happy and then share it with the world, which in turn, brings happiness to others.
Theo, you have such an amazing art skill that is so wonderful to watch and then admire the end result. Well done, and I fully enjoyed watching.
That’s a lot of gorgeousness! 🤯. Love the yellow 😳
I so want to start faceting on my machine but it’s very intimidating. Your giving me more inspiration ❤️ I’ll try it someday 😆

I'm just getting into lapidary things and wanted to say I've learned so much from you already. You do an amazing job!
I love all of these, especially the ruby, so beautiful! The moldavite is also amazing, but so is the blue glass! Awesome! I could see you doing a whole channel called faceting fun, and I would watch it and love it! Thanks for sharing!

I feel you on the "hard to film" aspect of faceting. The full process is repetitive. However, I enjoyed the multi-stone journey here. Thanks for sharing, and I look forward to seeing more cut stones!
Very nice work! ;) Also, remember that only red corundum is Ruby, every other color is Sapphire (same case with synthetic stones).
Wow! Pixel actually looks like 8bit in reality!
