Love your honest reviews of the shoes. I don't get how a brand can sell shoes for hundreds of pounds and not think about the fit or usability of them. I get that you're buying for the design, quality materials, branding etc, but with the amount of money you invest, you'd think they could at least get someone to wear a sample around and test them out before mass producing them!
What I loved most about this video is you have actually worn your favourite shoes unlike other you tubers who state their favourites but when you see the soles they have not been worn!!!

i actually had slip on shoes like 7 years ago and my teenage self lived in them and i was really sad when it was time to throw them out. they were so comfortable and i was really excited to see that its now become a big trend. wouldnt probably spend a gucci amount of money but i havent found a pair that fits me well so the hunt continues. such a good popping out of the house shoe for the summer time.
Yes, as long as you don't have to walk anywhere. I have some River Island leopard ones too, (courtesy of Fashion Mumblr) which are super comfy and very inexpensive too.

I love my Acne Jensen boots! They are so comfortable! I stand on my feet all day at work and they are the one boots that I always gravitate to because of the comfort! I have two pairs and the one in the textured leather are more comfortable then the smooth leather!

I’m a hopeless shoe addict. I collect iconic and rare shoes. I even buy and wear shoes that are not my size. One thing taught a lesson: stress fracture. Ladys, it is just NOT WORTH IT to buy uncomfortable shoes. No matter how beautiful they are. Thanks for sharing, Emma!

I have the ACNE pistols in black suede and I love them. I`ve worn them so much for 2 years now without them breaking or looking torn. I added a little hight to the heel and it made them more comfortable than before 10/10 would recommend.

I just ordered Brixtons in pink colour after thinking about them for more than two years. So exciting! (maybe impractical colour, but it was the first one I’ve ever seen and I loved it so much).
I bought the dupe from Marc Fisher for the Jensen boots to see if I would get my wear out of them, and it seems like they're actually better! They were super comfortable from the beginning and no issues with quality as I wear them all the time

Okay, so I can’t wear Jimmy Choos. I’ve tried so hard and it pains me. But fret not, Stuart Weitzman loves me and my money. Those Chloe Susanna’s are amazing. I agree, it hurts to buy them but literally every day they make me happy. You’ve also made me decide that I must buy those Gucci Princeton loafers. I like the element of danger whilst traveling.

InVinos the Susannas are great but they don’t fit anything like the Jensen’s. They aren’t are structured, the leather is much softer and they come much lower on the ankle 👍🏼

I love those fuzzy Princetown slides! I totally agree with everything you said though, the practicality is just not there. I actually found a very similar Pair from Steve Madden and I love them!! Real leather but fake fur and about $100 Canadian... Pretty perfect for a trendy thing like these slides!
Love the Chloe boots! Funny enough, when I was trying to decide whether the investment was worth it, I made sure to Pinterest a whole bunch of different looks so I could show myself how versatile the shoe is. Got the Brixton myself and you are soooo right! I love it. I got really sensitive feet and never got a blister and they go with everything. Definitely the best shoe investment in my opinion.

I have a pair of Prada pumps that are so beautiful but impossible to wear outside because the heels are just so fragile and any sidewalk will just eat them up... really sad and definitely a purchase I regret! I have very narrow feet and there is a little bit of room in mine so I don't see why not, but I would say to try them first. But the leather is so soft that it would stretch 👍🏼
Haha I have the same issue with my Gucci Princeton loafers! I took them into myCobbler and had a rubber sole put on so i don’t slip and side everywhere! But aren’t they like wearing slippers 😍
For your Jimmy shoes, take them into store and ask them to add a protector on the point. Will make them last a lot longer as I can see you have some wear on one of the points.

Yep I know Z&V well. I had a pair of their boots once but they broke so I had to return them 🙈 I love the Chanel slingbacks, they're so classy and easy to wear. I would have put them as a best but being a slingback they aren't really suitable for Winter and they take some adjusting to walk in x

Long live the Brixton loafer 🙌🏼 The most comfortable, versatile shoes I own too. Have you thought about getting them re-soled with some Topy to protect them? I never used to but started to notice a lot of my flats getting worn down then took about 10 pairs to the cobbler haha. You can choose whether you want black or tan Topy to match the soles/edges of the shoes and it gives you way more grip and helps keep them going. Have to agree that the Jensens aren't comfortable as well, so tight on the foot. I used to have three pairs of similar Isabel Marant sandals and sold them all too! x
I do usually get my designer shoes re-soled straight away, but this is my second pair as I left my first pair in another country 🤦🏼♀️ and I had those re-soled but I haven't had the time to get these done yet 🙈
Oh no, you poor thing! Where did you leave them?! I bought mine in NYC, wore them in London and sent them back to Australia while I kept travelling - they got absolutely drenched in a London downpour so I made my parents send me photos of them when they took them out of the suitcase to make sure they were ok 😂 Good as new! x
Also, great video again! I have the same issue with Acne shoes...the lack of half sizes. I have just bought the Scully pumps, but the 37's were mahoosive and the 36's are tight across the bridge of my (narrow) foot. I now have to try to break them in around the house; they are so edgy I couldn't imagine work life without them any more though LOL. I have the Jensens in a bigger size for that reason; I wear a thick sock inside. My feet are tiny so this is fine for me. Half sizes Acne!!!

This was a painful video to watch (in a good way, I love your style and your opinions are spot on 😘) - but I have every pair in the bad category and now understand why my Jensens are in a box somewhere, why the Marmonts are just decoration and trying to sell the Isabel Marant ones. The Isabel Marant are not any better in the flat version btw. Tip: resole the Gucci Princetown, it did wonders and are now the most worn flat for me. Also I recommend Dear Frances boots if you want a pair made for walking, they are sooo comfy and stylish 😍
I have been looking at Dear Frances but as we're almost in Spring now I figured I'd just wait until next Autumn. I don't wear the Princetowns enough to get them re-soled, I do usually get my designer shoes re-soled within a couple of weeks but it's finding the time 🙈
Ahhh, the Gucci shoes. I have them in the 5,5cm heel, and the 2,5cm...they are soo great. I've heard lots of people say the high ones are a nightmare to walk in. Sell the high ones, get the low ones, you'll love them! :) PS. Remember to size down a whole size for the low ones.

Samantha Harris Dune, Kurt Geiger, LK Bennett all do lovely court shoes, but they won’t fit or feel like a Jimmy Choo. I would say LK Bennett would be the closest you would get to the Jimmy Choos for a lower price point 👍🏼
The Acne Jensen boots are an amazing design but omg they are so uncomfortable. I had the same problem - 40 small, 41 too big. I decided not to buy them and I am really glad I did change my mind. I ended up with a pair of Off_white boots and they are bomb!
I have those Isabel Marant sandals and like you, I lusted after them for so long before I bought them. Omg do they ever hurt. The leather is actually pretty hard, which I think is why it rubs into the foot until it’s raw. Also I find the block heel to be heavy and so it weighs down my foot and tires them out after a couple of hours. On top of that, the strap that guys across the toes always ends up cutting into me. Ugh. They’re so beautiful but so horrible! I also included them in my designer shoes I regret buying alongside a pair of ACNE hi top sneakers.
My Isabel Marant sandals (the black version) actually broke because they were too heavy and the leather tore. Net a porter have me my money back in the end :( they’re so pretty but I agree!
I agree. Isabel Marant shoes are just so poorly made. Even their low boots kill my feet. My Manolo and Prada 5” heels are more comfortable than all my IM low boots. After issues with 3 pairs of IM boots, I simply gave up on that brand.

Great video again! :) Actually I discovered that the & Other Stories dupe for the Acne Jensen boots are so much more comfortable! The suede is finer, it did not get m any blister...actually it is not a dupe, it is product development :D
Charlotte Luck I tried them on when buying the ones with the collapsable heel and I had the same issue as with any mule, they just fly off your feet. That’s why I went for the Brixton’s because they can be worn both ways 👍🏼
I had the same issue with the Acne Boots. I am too a half size. I bought the smaller size and they absolutely killed my feet. I ended up selling them. Such a shame, I still love them a lot.

Eleanor Tan I’ve tried the Jordan’s and hate them 😩 the leather is too stiff and they were no where near as comfortable as the Brixton’s 👍🏼

Wanted to notice how funny is that depending on the mentioned shoes which I also own I can 100% agree or disagree with you. Love my brixton gucci loafers, but however also love my acne jensen. I'm also half size in shoes, so i decided for a bigger one and guess it was a right choice. They are super comfy. Sorry, didn't mean to disappoint you. After your review I'm thinking of getting Chloe Sussana and ATP sandals as feels like we have similar feet )) Would you recommend buying Sussana if i love my Jensens(they are grained black leather). By the way, thank you for the best/worst bags videos. Yesterday I over-persuaded my mom from Chloe Faye(not sure about spelling) to Loewe Puzzle. Wish I had this bag too, but I just got my Celine box bag and can't complain. Anyways, thank you for the video. You are awesome!

InVinos the Susannas are great but they don’t fit anything like the Jensen’s. They aren’t are structured, the leather is much softer and they come much lower on the ankle 👍🏼
I loooved the nude Jimmy Choos, they're such a great style to round off basically any look! I was so sad to hear the Gucci heeled loafers were uncomfortable though, they look really pretty

I love those fuzzy Princetown slides! I totally agree with everything you said though, the practicality is just not there. I actually found a very similar Pair from Steve Madden and I love them!! Real leather but fake fur and about $100 Canadian... Pretty perfect for a trendy thing like these slides!
Love the Chloe boots! Funny enough, when I was trying to decide whether the investment was worth it, I made sure to Pinterest a whole bunch of different looks so I could show myself how versatile the shoe is. I never realized that half of the lookbook pics I've saved are of you until watching this video! Thanks for the inspo! They were my happy purchase of 2017, and they never fail to get compliments every time I put them on!

Got the Brixton myself and you are soooo right! I love it. I got really sensitive feet and never got a blister and they go with everything. Definitely the best shoe investment in my opinion.

I have a pair of Prada pumps that are so beautiful but impossible to wear outside because the heels are just so fragile and any sidewalk will just eat them up... really sad and definitely a purchase I regret! I have very narrow feet and there is a little bit of room in mine so I don't see why not, but I would say to try them first. But the leather is so soft that it would stretch 👍🏼
Haha I have the same issue with my Gucci Princeton loafers! I took them into myCobbler and had a rubber sole put on so i don’t slip and side everywhere! But aren’t they like wearing slippers 😍

For your Jimmy shoes, take them into store and ask them to add a protector on the point. Will make them last a lot longer as I can see you have some wear on one of the points.

Also thinking of buying the Chanel slingbacks this summer for my birthday, I think you have them. Would you recommend them?
Yep I know Z&V well. I had a pair of their boots once but they broke so I had to return them 🙈 I love the Chanel slingbacks, they're so classy and easy to wear. I would have put them as a best but being a slingback they aren't really suitable for Winter and they take some adjusting to walk in x

Long live the Brixton loafer 🙌🏼 The most comfortable, versatile shoes I own too. Have you thought about getting them re-soled with some Topy to protect them? I never used to but started to notice a lot of my flats getting worn down then took about 10 pairs to the cobbler haha. You can choose whether you want black or tan Topy to match the soles/edges of the shoes and it gives you way more grip and helps keep them going. Have to agree that the Jensens aren't comfortable as well, so tight on the foot. I used to have three pairs of similar Isabel Marant sandals and sold them all too! x
I do usually get my designer shoes re-soled straight away, but this is my second pair as I left my first pair in another country 🤦🏼♀️ and I had those re-soled but I haven't had the time to get these done yet 🙈
Oh no, you poor thing! Where did you leave them?! I bought mine in NYC, wore them in London and sent them back to Australia while I kept travelling - they got absolutely drenched in a London downpour so I made my parents send me photos of them when they took them out of the suitcase to make sure they were ok 😂 Good as new! x
Also, great video again! I have the same issue with Acne shoes...the lack of half sizes. I have just bought the Scully pumps, but the 37's were mahoosive and the 36's are tight across the bridge of my (narrow) foot. I now have to try to break them in around the house; they are so edgy I couldn't imagine work life without them any more though LOL. I have the Jensens in a bigger size for that reason; I wear a thick sock inside. My feet are tiny so this is fine for me. Half sizes Acne!!!

This was a painful video to watch (in a good way, I love your style and your opinions are spot on 😘) - but I have every pair in the bad category and now understand why my Jensens are in a box somewhere, why the Marmonts are just decoration and trying to sell the Isabel Marant ones. The Isabel Marant are not any better in the flat version btw. Tip: resole the Gucci Princetown, it did wonders and are now the most worn flat for me. Also I recommend Dear Frances boots if you want a pair made for walking, they are sooo comfy and stylish 😍
I have been looking at Dear Frances but as we're almost in Spring now I figured I'd just wait until next Autumn. I don't wear the Princetowns enough to get them re-soled, I do usually get my designer shoes re-soled within a couple of weeks but it's finding the time 🙈
Ahhh, the Gucci shoes. I have them in the 5,5cm heel, and the 2,5cm...they are soo great. I've heard lots of people say the high ones are a nightmare to walk in. Sell the high ones, get the low ones, you'll love them! :) PS. Remember to size down a whole size for the low ones.

Samantha Harris Dune, Kurt Geiger, LK Bennett all do lovely court shoes, but they won’t fit or feel like a Jimmy Choo. I would say LK Bennett would be the closest you would get to the Jimmy Choos for a lower price point 👍🏼
The Acne Jensen boots are an amazing design but omg they are so uncomfortable. I had the same problem - 40 small, 41 too big. I decided not to buy them and I am really glad I did change my mind. I ended up with a pair of Off_white boots and they are bomb!

I have those Isabel Marant sandals and like you, I lusted after them for so long before I bought them. Omg do they ever hurt. The leather is actually pretty hard, which I think is why it rubs into the foot until it’s raw. Also I find the block heel to be heavy and so it weighs down my foot and tires them out after a couple of hours. On top of that, the strap that guys across the toes always ends up cutting into me. Ugh. They’re so beautiful but so horrible! I also included them in my designer shoes I regret buying alongside a pair of ACNE hi top sneakers.
My Isabel Marant sandals (the black version) actually broke because they were too heavy and the leather tore. Net a porter have me my money back in the end :( they’re so pretty but I agree!
I agree. Isabel Marant shoes are just so poorly made. Even their low boots kill my feet. My Manolo and Prada 5” heels are more comfortable than all my IM low boots. After issues with 3 pairs of IM boots, I simply gave up on that brand.
You are not meant to wear them that’s not what they are for.

Charlotte Luck I tried them on when buying the ones with the collapsable heel and I had the same issue as with any mule, they just fly off your feet. That’s why I went for the Brixton’s because they can be worn both ways 👍🏼

I had the same issue with the Acne Boots. I am too a half size. I bought the smaller size and they absolutely killed my feet. I ended up selling them. Such a shame, I still love them a lot.
