Just as a heads up, there is a glitch, when setting the visibility to false, and moving the mouse (sometimes), you will not be able to press E to hide the note back, as the line trace does not detect the collision.
Great tutorial. Just fyi you dont have to do the laydown note animation... theres an option on the animation to just play animation, and it gives you a combobox to select play backwards. So you only need to make one animation.

Hello i like your video and if its possible, can you make a tutoriel featuring an equip clothes system with metahuman where the player character doesnt start the level naked but like you choose the first costume on the body and that combined with the ability to loot or find other costumes which you can equip and change with the starter outfit, that combined with an inventory UI to change the outfits from different costumes, I understand that my request is too long but it will help many developers so please work on it when you can Thanks in advance.

Not sure if you fixed it yet but i have the same problem. It is caused by opening up the note while moving and your character slides slightly out of pickup range. For jumping just set jump z velocity to 0 while in the note and reset it to default after putting note down
@@PrismX_8 hey man back then i didnt know you could just enable input from i think player controller in the widget and add closing event when pressing RMB (but if you want to keep time dilation just make that time dilation resets to 1.0 after putting note away)
Hi, I was wondering if there's a way for this to work with a Third Person Character where we have the camera in a FPS perspective? I got this working perfectly on a FPS project in UE5, but when I tried remaking it in UE5 with a Third Person character, no results.

Outlast trials is made in UE4 using blueprints so you should too but maybe UE5 instead

I fixed that issue with if check, when character speed is 0, then character can interact, otherwise can't

**Fixed** i added "disable input" after press "e". Then added "1 second delay" after "set visibility" node, then "enable input" node again.
