Juan Gabriel was a music genius. He didn't know how to write or read music but would tell their producers and musicians what he wanted. He plays with the tempo and metric of the songs with ease. These are songs that he had given to Rocío Durcal and were doing very different by her. It would be awesome if you could react to her since she's considered one of the greatest asking Jose Jose and Camilo Sesto. Al if them fans of her since her career started earlier than theirs. She was Juan Gabriel's favorite singer.
As per usual, you have managed to educate my listening beyond my old prejudice against mariachi...this is of course way beyond the usual restaurant trios we grew up hearing. Thanks for the clear enthusiasm and clarity!
Diana Navarro is a very versatile singer who sings different musical styles. With that particular voice that she always transmits when she sings. On this occasion I recommend a live update called " .cuplerias gala de los premios ceres" you will be surprised what she does with her voice.
