It is beautiful and your hard work paid off. Thanks for sharing I hope you will post more content. You should have your boat in a race - that would make a good video. She truly is one of a kind ! !
Tack, kul att du uppskattar den. Jag får själv inte nog av att se på den, tycker hon är väldigt tjusig. Då hon inte seglas står hon på första parkettplats hemma!
Absolutely beautiful. Pity you don’t have a video of the refurbishment, that would be fascinating. Maybe you still can? Or if not, make a video of how it is now explaining what you needed to do to get to that point? Also you could include an explanation of the rigging, winch, how you obtained, measured or made the sails, identify its group class if it has one etc etc. Also perhaps there’s a story in how you obtained the hull and I’m sure you would have pics of how it was when you acquired it? Fantastic work, wish I was there to sail with you.
Thanks Alan for your kind words! I should have filmed and documented the refurbishment, but unfortunately I didn’t. If I have time later on I might follow up with a description as you suggest. Briefly though, I fell in love with it when I spotted a sales advertisement on internet, bought it and realised it needed some refurbishing. The deck had a few cracks where the old glue had aged. I stripped it of the old varnish and started cutting up the areas where there were cracks. After gluing with epoxy and sanding I started to stain the deck. A total of eight layers of varnish (Epifanes) was then applied. The rigging is original, I have not modified it. The winches however, the radio transmitter and receiver have all been replaced. The installation of the winches deserves a special video, but I used an old scrapped IKEA curtain rod to enable the adjustment of the position of the winches. Hope to post a video describing this better some day, but right now I don’t have the time unfortunately.

She's gorgeous! Well done. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for your comment, I agree, she’s beautiful!
Beautiful boat and looks fantastic on the water
Thanks Jonathan, appreciate your kind comments!
One of the most beautiful RC sailboats I have ever seen.
Thank you for your kind words, I’m glad you appreciate the boat!
What a beautiful sailboat she should have a wooden mast and booms. The deck is just amazing.
Thanks, yes she’s lovely, and with a wooden mast and boom she’d be even more so.
Excellent restoration... and yes she sails fair and true. Nice work!
Glad you like her!
Stunning!!
Glad you like it, and of course I agree!
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
Exactly why I couldn’t resist buying & refurbishing her 😀
Wow, that really makes me want to build my own sailboat!! It's so nice and sails incredible well!
@@adrianvalbuena8158 great, wish you good fun with the build!
It looks like the real thing!
Wow fantastisk segelbåt!!

I am definitely modelling my second rc sailboat after this one ❤
Very pretty, & a good sailer!

I am 100% modelling my second rc sailboat after this one ❤
Wonderful! Let me know if you need any measurements and I’ll try to be helpful….
Absolutely beautiful. Do they still make this kind of sailboats today?

Glad you enjoy the boat!
schöne Holzarbeiten, war wohl ein Eigenbau
She's beautiful
Thank you! 😊
She is a beauty please show more
I’ll put out more once I have filmed her again!
There's not many like those around these days.
Agree, she’s wonderful!
Damn,pops.
Superb yacht, what on board camera please?
Thanks, glad you like it! The camera used onboard is a DJI Osmo Action with ND filter (4). Best, Christofer
@@hallbergrassy352 Thank you Christofer, I will try it on my Bristol Pilot Cutter model, I don't think it is quite as heavy as your wonderful yacht!
I see, my boat is approximately 20 kg 😅
Any idea if the plans are available? What is it called?
Are plans available?
How fast would one go ?
@@michaelsmyth5658 not sure what you mean, but if you mean how fast the boat is, I can’t really tell. It depends on the wind and size of the waves.
