I AM AN ARCHITECT / INTERIOR DESIGNER from Thinking Frontiers , ( coimbatore )Tirupur, Tamil nadu. I humbly ask everyone here to get a local architect or Interior designer for your projects. Book consultations with multiple designers before hiring one that you like. Obviously they will look for profits from the projects, but beyond that - they'll be true to you as - the project goes in their portfolio. These MNC kinda interior cmopanies like Livspace and homelane or something like that - dont give a rat's ass about their customers ( unless you are some celebrity or some public figure with loads of following. )
@srinjaynath sorry for delayed reply. I would usually suggest doing a google search and contact professionals in their area.... And if not satisfied by them, but have extra money to spread then you can get into contact with celebrity architects from any region.... And if you are sure of taking care of execution by yourself ( paid visits are also arranged to make sure the design has been executed as the shared drawings ), then just hire an architect/interior designers for a remote job option and get design from them and fees will be few percent of the possible budget of the house ( which we do for remote clients ). Multiple revisions are included , paint finishes to lighting choices to floor design to furniture selection and arrangement and everything in between is completely covered as a part of deliverable. And everything is first confirmed using 3d renders.
@@buvaneshwaransk3164Hi I kind of liked ur opinion… I did Google search but later found out that most of them r paid reviews..could u suggest me best one here in b’lore..actually I m on a tight budget
By listening your thoughts. Experience we had they arrange design meet at home initially. They gave us rennovation model. Which is vendor base. Vendors has nothing to do with company.. Vendors are not even proper interior designers. Now vendor left project in between. He used very low grade fittings and laminates. Moment you ask for proper laminates and all they would increase budget. Second inrerior designer they arrange after 1 month gap. He too wanted profits.. so at the end we asked them to finish project quickly as it was already six month.. but most of work was pending. We decided to do diy and finished our home fix all problems by ourself. We did far better job just by few tools..
I had a horrible experience with them. I had given them two adjacent flat for the renovation. In the first flat I was living with my family and the other flat was completely vacant. I thought they would utilize that space for the carpentry work. The original estimation was of 3 months, but the vendors they provided kept running and the work did not start for almost 3-4 months. The work was very basic. Safety door and main door for both the flats, modular kitchen for one flat (only the upper part), pooja mandir with storage. For this they took more than 6months and in the last month they had to hire 4th contractor to finish the work. The pricing was highly inflated for example corian design they quoted 35k but I got that removed from the contract and the actual price was only 14k. Likewise the door cost quoted was 1.2lac but the were only giving 60k to the vendor.
I visited Livespace, Home Lane, Ados, Bonito but found them unreasonable. Lot of show off.I got my interiors done by a mid range company in Bengaluru and I am very happy and satisfied with their work and quality. All factory finish.I am proud of my decision 😂....
We are present having talks with livspace and it is in design finalization stage and the initial quote was 17 lacs and in the final quote now they have increased it double which is almost 33 lacs. Let's see what happens next.
This is their strategy, I am a former design partner of livspace. Now i own my own company and factory setup. They taught us in the training to first make the customer sign up with a basic costing then the costing can be increased by giving them more superior design. The customer also gets tempted by seeing the designs and agrees for the hiked quote. The design partner gets a 10-14% percent of the quote. Story of all the customers of livspace and homelane.
This is so true. We had asked the designer for glossy G-profile handles and she had promised us the same. However the operations team said that they only keep anodised G-profile handles. The quote which they had provided had bottle pullouts. However they didn’t mention that in agreement which we had overlooked. The operations team said that since it is not provided in agreement, they cant provide it. When we asked the designer team for the quotation details of the current agreement to understand the pricing, they started making excuses that they cannot provide it. The designer team had given us an entirely negative experience by giving false quotes and assurances during the design meetings. We made the biggest mistake by trusting the designing team’s words instead of what was put by them in the agreement
taking into consideration the amount of fixed overheads they incur on monthly basis, the big corporate set up to woo customers & the number of persons attending to a project. something to laugh out loud, they tend to charge exorbitant & tend to compromise on the quality.

Customer is nothing for them. They want only to keep raising the project cost which we are supposed to agree. Are..just for shifting the switch board for few inches they raised more than 100000 to the project.
