Funny how she says that majority watching are freshmen and juniors.Yeah I am a 30 year old African😂😂😂 working and with a masters but watching American college reactions lol
@Katie Ellen Tu What’s your real name and what was the uni you taught? If you hated it so much why don’t you tell us? Obviously you care since you comment on every. single. video.
another polo girl! yes! never seen another person that does the same sport as me do a college reaction video so this is exciting, especially since I'll be doing this whole process next year . congrats on all of your acceptances- all of you! very excited for you all- you guys have such bright futures ahead!
It has to be tough having an Ivy, Stanford, MIT, etc., as your dream college(s), because it's impossible to predict admissions for any of these, especially for those who are possibly unhooked applicants. All the best in your choice; you'll undoubtedly be a successful MD applicant anywhere you go, four or five years down the road!
Congrats on all of y’all’s acceptances. If you guys are willing to, can you share you stats in another video? Also, what is y’all’s biggest tips when it comes to balancing school and social life? Thank you!
congratulations!!! i know you are probably a little disappointed with some of the results, but you still got into some truly amazing schools. can't wait to find out which one you pick :)
Stay committed to extracurriculars that you like and you feel will relate to your future. Try to participate in any extra competitions or contests whether it be local or national. Try your best to keep your grades up and challenge yourself. Study for SAT, ACT, and AP exams if you have them :)
freshman year has been pretty sucky because of covid :( i’ve been getting A’s and B’s when usually i am a straight A student. will this effect me a lot? and i also wanted to try and understand how i know which courses are the best to take for sophomore and junior year?
Hello Cilia! I’m not an admissions officer, so take my work with a grain of salt. From my experience, however, I would say that getting As and Bs in high school is a great accomplishment! I have tons of friends who got into great schools with Bs. I would say that the most important thing is to show growth as you continue on to sophomore year and beyond, take on a rigorous course load, and have extra curriculars based on your interests. Your grades are only a small portion of your application, so don’t worry!
I’m applying UPenn (Wharton) ED in the fall!!! Lucy and Suji, if you have any advice for me that would be amazing ❤️❤️❤️ hopefully see you both on campus fall of 2026
Congratulations! All great schools. Best wishes PS- you were accepted by many world class schools. Be proud of your accomplishments. Have you picked a school?
Hey, am in grade 10 and i am having my boards in feb/march, after that i am planning for SAT exams, can you give me some tips related to it and can you confirm that my year for these universities will be 2024
Hello! I decided to pursue my major since I was more interested in my natural science classes than my other ones throughout high school. After realizing that, I tried to find extra curriculars and internships that pertained to the biology/chemistry/medicine, such as getting CPR certified and becoming a lifeguard, interning at a lab, chem tutoring, and being part of a health science immersion program. I also tried other things, such as music, sports, and teaching, but I decided I rather do those things as hobbies. After doing trying out different activities, I decided I truly want to go into science and medicine, so I then researched different natural science majors at my top schools to see which ones I was most interested in. If I were to give one piece of advice, I would say to keep your options open as you try different activities since you never know what will captivate you, and once you do find a passion, try to join different extra curriculars pertaining to it so you can hone in your interests. I hope this helps!
Hello! Some things that I think helped me a lot were: staying on top of my school work (plan out when you have time to work so it doesn't all fall on you at once), finding a productive space to work (cafes really helped me focus), connecting with my teachers and asking lots of questions (this helps you understand the material better and form relationships with your teachers), forming study groups, and reserving one day a week where I don't do any schoolwork (for me those were Saturdays, and they were really helpful for maintaining my mental health and social life so I wasn't spending all of my time on school work and extracurriculars). I hope this helps!
I took AP Psych my junior year and actually really loved the class. Honestly, it has a bad rep for "being easy" but difficulty of the class has nothing to do with what you can get out of it imo. It is really easy to just memorize the terms and concepts in psych, but to really understand it, make sure to have specific, real life applications that you can refer to when studying! Just knowing the definition is not going to be enough. (esp with the child development stages) Good luck!
We’ll be making a stats video soon! With that being said, however, definitely don’t compare your stats against anyone else! I bet your stats are amazing, and we can never predict what a college is look for :)
Hello! I apologize, but as of now are not going to be sharing our instagrams for privacy reasons. If you do have any questions, however, feel free to comment on this video and we will be sure to answer!
