Thank you for this very review. I´ve just purchased the Sony a6400 with the 16-50mm lens kit, the UUrig for the a6400, the Aircross 2 Professional kit (iFocus M, Arca Swiss quick release plate, cellphone shoe mount) + Slypod E. No other accesories (for now). ¿Could you tell me which tripods less than US$200.00 are suitable for this setup? ¿Do I need a ball head / pan & tilt head in order to attach the Slypod E with the Aircross 2? Finally ¿do I need the Moza cable adapter for Sony in order to control the shutter on the camera or is it enough with the built-in timelapse of the a6400?
Is there any micro jitter? I just returned a Neewer slider that had too much jittering and installing that on location, well to much hassle. The Slypod looks much cooler and expand way more possibilities that a typical slider to go over/under things.
interesting product! For timelapse shooting in lower light conditions, it's essential to have a 'move-shoot-move' functionality. So does it stop moving in between shots, or is there no way to link the Slypod to the camera, and let them communcate for accurate triggering while the pod doesn't slide? Cheers!
Solid review, we’ve been on the fence about this piece of equipment for a long time. Mainly, because it seems the noise of the motor would render this slider useless in an interview setting or any scene with dialogue, otherwise we’d probably have a couple of them by now.
to the point review - much appreciated - wonder how the thing behaves with a GoPro attached to it - will find out very soon ... and the "SOUND" is a PAIN IN THE A... (just unboxed my slypod e ) - might awake up the foxes & rabbits in the forest ... NO WAY to use that In an interview situation ...
Hilarious ... I am not saying the tracking shot doesnt look amazing and cinematic... BUT a solid composition from the tripod is as strong and delicios as a small slider movement... maybe even better if the composition is nothing on your slider
I regret buying the Slypod. There is a wobble in the extended part that never gets resolved. When I spoke to the service, they dismissed it as a user error and said it was broken. Moreover, they said it can't be repaired. I bought it to shoot smooth footage, but the results are so poor that it's infuriating. I live in Turkey, and unfortunately, the Moza service did not solve my problem. It seems like a good idea, but it's not at all; your money and time will be wasted. Do not buy it.
Excellent review! I appreciate the numerous sample shots that were very well executed. Thanks for all your hard work that went into this review.
"No warp Stabilizer" THANK YOU. This was important.
Best review on the web ! The only review that addresses stability and shows sample footage 👏🏻👏🏻 (subscriber earned) 🤟🏻
I was wondering if I can get the same results in editing. I can zoom slightly in and out and even sideways
Best review I’ve seen on the Slypod. Thank you.
do u think the travel distance is enough? thanks
Damn! came here from the latest vid;
You're amazing brah... keep up the good work and bring in many more cinematic vids.
Best of Luck!

Very Nice review. Straight, concise and informative.

Did you mention how many centimeters it is contracted? 😐
Could anyone tell me please? Thanks

how bout an RS2 on top of the slypod?
Amazing demonstration shots
Great video! I just bought mine. What head are you using with it?
I'm just using the head of my other tripod...not the most practical option but works
DO you think this would be good for real estate video?
It can definitely work but i think a gimbal is the way to go for real-estate, way more practical
Great review my dude
Took a chance with the number of views and that video was really professional!
Glad you enjoyed :)
couldn't agree more! Great review
whats the difference between this and the Slypod pro
The price and travel length. From 28cm to 56
Cool video, I like the style.
Excellent review. Thank you!
Nice review. To the point and solid information.
thank you

Yeah, it's not a good idea to get this for an interview but for everything else - it's great
boom you sold me! slypod pay this guy

Super 👌👌

That's not the point, of course you can get amazing results with a tripod but in my opinion the slider has a better ability to guide the viewers eye
it's way too noisy to use with sound unless you dub music over the video. Not what i want to do. I'll have to look for something else
l think for what is does is expensive specially the Pro model that is about $600. This should cost $150 and Pro should be $300
Interesting thumbnail lmao
