im currently self studying for the gcses and i have a hard time grasping computer science. your videos help me understand it much more efficiently. been a tremendous help! thanks!
Nowadays, with graphics and game engine technology improvements I'd say 8 core CPU's are required in many games for acceptable performance. That is further backed up by the optimization methods not keeping up with the visual "standard" for triple A games.
not at IGCSE level...but you do need to know what cache is. The fact fact that you are aware that there are different types (level 1,2 and 3) is good. If you know the definition, e.g Cache memory is a type of high-speed volatile computer memory that serves as a buffer between the CPU (central processing unit) and the slower main memory (RAM). Its primary purpose is to store frequently accessed data and instructions to speed up data access times and overall system performance....then you will be fine. An analogy might also be useful...something like this: Imagine you're doing homework on your computer, and you need to keep looking up the same information over and over again, like a math formula or a definition. Cache memory is like having a special shelf right next to your desk where you can keep these things handy instead of having to get up and go to your bookshelf (which is slower) every time you need them. Hope this helps 🙂
Hi Paul... Unfortunately I have been reported for a copyright infringement??? This I am currently having to deal with!... I have a replacement video ready to upload. Thank you for your patience.
