Epic work as always Colin; loved basking in the 30 minutes of content. I'm liking all this behind-the-scenes of the event type documentaries, super cool to connect with he riders on a deeper level that you don't get from their own social media and the competition live stream. It's great to know what really goes on it their lives and the personal battles they fight with themselves.
I definitely think that Cohan was allowed to shine at BAKL Cape Town because the Italians were no-shows; if they'd turned up, maybe only later this year would we see Cohan truly progress; sometimes changes in competition fleets are for the better.

Aaron Hadlow was the master of mind games - it is part of the reason why he was 8x World Champion. A number of his opponents had to retire early and seek medical treatment after competing against him.
Super cool to see the behind the scenes of competitions. It's definitely a step up from the Erasers.

I still think the Being King with Janek's injury, Jessie's last heat & competition with Lorenzo, the editing and soundtrack selection is another level.

I love your work as always. As someone who only started kitesurfing about 3 years ago around 2018, (that was year before last, right?), I think there is an interesting history about how the sport has evolved recently (beyond it's inception as told by the upwind documentary). It's been on a fascinating journey and there is an interesting question over where the sport will evolve. I would love content about that. Many thanks.
hopefully these documentaries will be a record of the rate of progression. Imagine how mental is could be in a few years, with all the rivalries fully developed + everyone on better gear. Phwoar!

This whole series is incredible. I love kitesurfing but my god is some of the content lame. Portrait is brilliant, the whole concept is exactly what this sport needs. Not only does it provide a portal to watch incredible kitesurfing without being forced to listen to intense euro trash, the cinematography and storytelling has just continued to get better with every film.

Probably not, they need it behind a paywall to fund future projects independent form the brands (who can be biased). They talk about it is the latest episode of their podcast
