I have mature skin, and I discovered some time ago that tapping under my inner corners with my finger after applying concealer is the best way to avoid creasing, regardless of what concealer I use. I first blend with a sponge, then finish with a couple of taps.

This is s great review and wear test; I appreciate how in-depth it is. Tarte was cancelled already by me, but I never liked the Shape Tape - too heavy & drying on my mature under eyes personally.

This is how most concealers end up looking on me unless I never smile or talk lol I have to wear the thinnest layer of my foundation or I look like I've been dead for a year lol thanks for saving me some more $$

I am glad you showed it close up so we could see how it really looks. I thought the same thing you did, that it is JUST like the Bye Bye undereye which to me is like a thick putty or paste! I cannot wear that either , it feels greasy, CREASY, and just SO heavy! The thick brush DID make it a little better because using your fingers seems to pull away some of the concealer due to the warmth of the fingers. But I can't see anyone with any crease or texture issues using the "creaseless" concealer! Thank you for your honest and revealing review!

That’s exactly how shape tape does to Me too. I had Maracuja concealer for YEARS and I didn’t remember it creasing, but that’s because it would literary not last at all. It would just disappear. However, I think you’ve sold me on the Too Faced one.
hi! I've used this concealer for about 2 years now and i have found that if you apply under your eyes coming out about an inch with a lighter color and and leaving it to sit for a minute while i apply other things such as clear brow gel and then blend it and set it with a translucent powder it sets much better!

Shape Tape is too thick and dry for us older ladies. So having a hydrating option plus the doe foot is a definite improvement. I do use Shape Tape (I didn't want to throw it out) but I've learned to use a small amount and it's a great concealer.
Personally I love how it looks like on me. I have all these fine lines and I just pat it in throughout the day. You are actually not supposed to set this concealer

@@yasmeenhussain7253 hi! I am still using the same concealer! What I do is I put just enough concealer and not more, tap with my fingers till it’s all even then add just a layer of setting powder! wouldn’t work without setting powder tbh, fine lines would be seen! Hope it helps!! :)
i personally loves this concealer, the only downfall for me is that when i apply (before i set) it’s very shiny and covers my darkness really well but once i set it really makes my dark circles come out even more and if u don’t set it properly on ur eyelids it creases very bad.
this is strange..I am 50 years old with I'm sure dryer skin than you, and The Creaseless concealer doesn't do this to me! I make sure my undereye area is well moisturized, I apply it pretty generously (although a little DOES go a long way!) because my circles are much darker. Pat with my finger and then blend the edges out with a slightly damp beauty blender. I immediately set with Jane Iredale loose powder, then a light spray with Jane or Tarte setting spray and it's a flawless finish that doesn't move or crease all day...so maybe the powder is the problem?? Or just the skin type?? Not sure...there is no question it took me a few tries to get the right , it IS a fussy concealer. You need to get the powder on before it sets into wrinkles or creases and then you're golden. Just my experience :)

A tip prep under eye area eye cream, or moisturize, that I area before concealer the same you would do for foundation if that makes any sense. The eye can be drying don’t moisturize under the eye area another tip, you can add like it just a tiny oil to the concealer, give it that Chloe look or hydrating effect to the area not so drying 9:55 drying hope this helps

I usually don’t read comments on products the basic consumer is clueless on how to apply products or buys the wrong products for their skin type, and even many youtubers do the same thing and or used tons of beauty lights that filters their skin....... I love tarte and don’t know why they fell under scrutiny with the shape tape foundation when many people who spoke upon the shade range often use brands that offer less shade ranges. Rihanna brand only worked bc it was marked as a makeup brand that specialized in black Tones...... lmao what a scam people fall for!! Needless to say I’m not biased I’m a makeup artist and stay away from drama..... all name brands are guilty of providing crappy skin toned foundations that super dark and light toned people don’t benefit from ( not just blacks people!!) because it’s impossible to find their shade bc brands don’t provide it..... however the true tea is that no matter what color we are it’s the tone that matters and our face has many throughout........ so what I’m saying is that people are often hypocritical and just feed into drama I do not do this nor will I ever not use s brand for any reason, to me they are all the same, they use any selling tactics to urge us to buy their product.... they are all evil lol..... Concerning this concealer I hate it!!! It’s thick it’s heavy, it’s like a paint.... it looks amazing but it never dries.... however it doesn’t crease once you set it but once you set it it looks terrible. Don’t buy this product and it’s 40 bucks!!! I also hate the timeless primer it’s super drying (like I woke up feeling scaled like a lizard!) and it doesn’t soak into the skin.... it’s also too thick and it dries funky.... I do like this formula it looks flawless the only issue is that it doesn’t dry so your forced to set it.... but once you set it, you ruin it..... uggg another fail by tarte.... I find that a lot of tarte products like their foundations and concealer and primers suck..... I hate the Amazonian clay foundation (it’s super beautiful but only wear for s few hours bc once it starts to separate and break Down their is no turning back! It won’t blend bc it’s like paint on your face so you literally have to take it off then re apply. It does give flawless coverage (even for hard textured skin or big pores) but after 4 hours you better run to the bathroom, take it all off and reapply completely......) I do like the rainforest of the sea foundation that stuff is amazing....it also starts to separate (making Your face look like it has holes everywhere) but luckily it blends out or apply a small layer of mineral powder foundation and your okay....

What is a good neck cream that lift’s and tighten and the face, I’ve been ill and not taken care of myself. Before I cleansed my face with my Clarisonic twice a day and used Philosophy,too cleanse and sometimes Lancôme, and toner when needed. I hope you have some kind of something special. I looked at myself today and cried. When I looked at my face , I have Diabetes and I know that will dry out you skin. PLEASE, PLEASE, HELP ME I’m. 62 and use to look late 40’s Help

They just repackaged the Maracuja Creaseless Concealer . Added prettier packaging and extended the shades of course after all the back lash they got. And that’s it because they seen Too Faced repackaging their products with better packaging and seen they were making sales. 🙄.
The creaseless is meant to be used without setting powder. I love it.

The Neutrogena Hydro Boost concealer has helped me so much I'm 44 and concealers were looking awful.

This is one of the only concealers I enjoy. My under eyes are so dry and this doesn't look dry and flaky when applied.

Instead of using my finger because of my nails I just let the concealer sit under my eye 👁 for a minute before blending with a sponge. Hth

I have this in the old packaging and as a 58 yr old ... it did NOT work for me either. Cracked and separated on me too! What a waste of $24!

They just repackaged the Maracuja Creaseless Concealer . Added prettier packaging and extended the shades of course after all the back lash they got. And that’s it because they seen Too Faced repackaging their products with better packaging and seen they were making sales. 🙄.
