Did you adjust the X6100 mic settings ? Mine clips on voice peaks and I can't find a way to stop it doing this. It seems to cut out the loud parts of words spoken into the mic.
I really wanted to love the 6100. I bought it just over 6 mo ago. Tried to get it to do ft8 (I followed the instructions and other UA-camrs) with no luck -- no transmit signal. Then a few weeks later the receiver simply stopped working. Now when I plug in the power supply to operate, nothing happens. I'm so discouraged. I'm thinking of just sending it back to Radioditty and telling them just to keep it. I can't afford an Icom 705.
Mine just arrived yesterday and already made a contact with Puerto Rico on 5w and 10m
Wow that’s awesome congratulations!!!!
why using the preamp on lower bands. It clearly overloads your radio receiver.
You think they fixed the overloading issue? Everyone I talked to has said these are hard to use because they get so much interference.
I’m not sure hopefully the issue is fixed

Josh, 6 meters is not vhf. Its commonly called MF. Between HF and VHF
Thank you very much I appreciate that
6 meters is 100% VHF.
mine is on order... due in a few days... looking forward to the radio.. thanks for your video.. well done.
Very nice thank you very much
You feel its possible to work as a radio station or its weak as principal rádio?
Depending on propagation the signal reports can be either really good or not so great, it also depends on the antenna and the ionospheric propagation.
Nice, what antenna are you using here
I ordered one Josh. Can't wait
Very nice!
