Tell Hailey that I really enjoyed seeing her projects and progress!! She’s just so cute, including her makeup 🤷♀️ I hope that you will continue doing videos- I really enjoy them. Thanks for taking the time from your busy life to share your stitching with us
Thank you! Haley just loves that makeup kit. She hasn’t played with it in days though but as soon as she knew I was doing a video, she had to put some on!
Love your videos, great content. We have similar taste in patterns and stitching style. You have such a calm relaxing manner. Love that you can handle the kids, husband and pets without missing a beat!!
Hello, Enjoyed the video. Loved seeing your daughter's projects. Let her know she is doing a fabulous job. Your cat was so funny taking down the decorations for you. Gave me a giggle. It was fun looking at all your projects. Have a great week. Thanks for sharing.
I love that your daughter has taken an interest in your hobby... mine did not, they love to look at my projects, but have no interest in stitching... Those sheep buttons!!!!!!!
Love all your projects. Theres always somewhere on cross stitch you can adjust something and no one but you will know. Happens to me alot but we can stitch any project a little different to suit us. Glad your daughter has taken an interest in stitching! Great job so far.
Congratulations on finishing your wreath, it's so pretty. I very much enjoyed seeing all the projects that you've been working on, your stitching is beautiful. I am also kitting up that Blackbird chart, Come Into My Garden, I just love it too but not sure when I'm going to have time to start it. Your daughter Hailey is so cute and is doing so well on her cross stitching. I've been teaching my granddaughters how to stitch and it's funny, but it's the younger one (7 yrs old) who is doing much better with it and she loves to count her stitches and is so proud of herself. Thank you for sharing another wonderful video. Your kitty cat was hilarious!
Please continue your videos..I always enjoy your projects. Just put an episode out when you are able. I can imagine how proud you are that your daughter is stitching. She’s doing well! I’ve been wanting to teach my granddaughters how to stitch so will look for that kit. It was really cute. I wouldn’t frog the house. It’s not noticeable and, especially won’t be when the whole stitch is complete. Our cat, Cato, is similar to Penny..he is in and out most days but always in at night during winter. He does like to be out those summer nights catching mice, too lol We don’t mind that at all. But she was so cute helping you “undecorate”! Have a lovely week, month, or however long till your next video. Suzette
Well, the decorations had to come down anyways…she just beat me to it…while I was recording, lol. I get so grossed out by her catching and eating all the things, but its what cats do and she is so much happier outside.
Great job! Loved seeing your daughter and her beautiful stitching. I would not correct error in that house, but I would repeat the top border on the bottom. Thank your for taping. I enjoyed seeing your projects and your progress!
Loved your sweet little special guest and her newfound love of stitching. And that cameo by Penny as she took down the Christmas decorations had me laughing out loud!! Too funny!! Always love watching your videos and seeing what projects your working on :)
Thank you so much for watching! I never know what the pets are going to do during a video! And I don’t take the time to edit, so I post the videos bloopers and all, lol!
@@lookwhatsinmyhoop it was just too funny!! 😂 my house is the same way, so I totally get it. I’m a pilates instructor and during lockdown we had to switch to virtual classes. My kids and my dog would parade in and out of live classes doing weird things and making comments 🤣 It was chaos, but I’m sure it was entertaining haha!
Great job Hailey! I’m so glad she is interested in your hobby. I raised boys and they were never interested in crafty things 😟 also I love Hailey’s makeup, very Taylor Swift!
Penny!!!! OMG - I was laughing when she jumped up onto your shelf and down came the greenery 😳! Love that Hailey has shown an interest in cross stitching her own things - so sweet! I’m so grateful you’re sticking it out with your Flosstube Journey - I love what you share and you as a person too. I know what you mean about comparing - it’s natural, I’d be like that too and is one of many reasons I’ve held off from starting my own. Especially now - seems like everyone has one, so who in the world would want to watch my happenings YIKES! Question - I’ve had Christmas Village by Prairie Schooler in my stash and have held off from starting for the EXACT reason you shared today, I love their designs but not their color pallet - it’s too brown and what I call “muddy in color”. Muted colors are my jam, but theirs isn’t just muted, they’re too collectively brown for my decor. All that aside, I’m hoping you’ll share the color conversion you’re considering for that chart. Looking forward to your next Flosstube - thank you for putting in the time to share. 🥰 OH - and I'd leave the windows as they're stitched in the piece you miss counted. It looks like the house has a mud-room area attached to it - many farm homes in Upstate NY have mud-rooms attached to the backend of the house. Not sure if I shared this with you before, but I was born and raised in Upstate NY - lived the majority of my life in CT, me and my husband and fur babies moved to SC in 2018. It was a rough transition for weather differences and culture, but I've adapted and have settled in nicely and love it here now (Hilton Head SC).
Hi there! I do remember you saying you grew up in upstate NY..but I can’t remember where. I’ve only been through SC but never spent time there. I’ve heard such nice things about it. Thank you so much for your sweet comment, and kindness. I was having a moment of self doubt but I really do love sharing my stitching. And you should definitely start a flosstube..I would watch it! I haven’t decided or thought about a conversion for Christmas Village but I kinda of like the one The Humble Bumble Stitcher posted on Instagram. Check it out …I don’t know if she listed the colors or not. But, I will definitely share when I do decide what to do. I love Prairie Schooler patterns, but the colors are not always my favorite…
Wow so many sweet things you’re stitching. I loved it all. Trying really hard not to go shopping now for some of it. 😊 always happy to see your videos. Stay warm?
Your Brenda Gervalia's Heart & Hand is perfectly fine. Patterns are a guide. The barn looks realistic, and the tree leaves can fall where they may. I am not a sampler stitcher, so I would cut off the bottom if I were to stich this pattern.
Enjoyed a lot. Love the little stitching project you got Haylie. I think I'll get 3 of those for our great granddaughters, great gift for no special reason. Maybe they'll follow in mamaw's steps and love cross stitch.
Thanks for sharing! I do not like the 'popular' project book...a notebook/journal must be inspiring and that has never caught my eye - I've yet to understand the appeal. Yours is inspiring! I like the cat un-decorating your mantel! I like your monthly plans and how you are attacking your WIPs and new starts. Thanks again! (and it was fun to have your daughter and her projects featured!)
The house looks fine, I wouldn’t frog it. Maybe make an adjustment to the tree if you don’t like exactly how it aligns? For the bottom, what about cutting it off above the alphabet and doing a double layer of the line border for a little extra weight? You could even do a double width bottom line spaced one away from the existing border (I think there’s already one there?)
For your Prairie Schooler change to ‘Winter’ you may want to pick up Brenda Key’s Ultimate Sampler Motif book which has a few pages worth of text plus it’s a great book to have. And to make some additions to your Blackbird pattern Come into My Garden.
I don't! We don't have any near is 😪 hobby house needleworks is about 2 hours from us but I haven't gone yet. There is another shop in Delmar, about an hour 15 from us. I've never been there either but I think it's called For the Stitcher's Soul. Do you have any shops near you?
Yay for finishing your wreath! It’s so pretty! So fun that your daughter is learning to cross stitch! Glad you are going to keep doing Flosstubes!
So glad to hear the good report on your mother's health!!

I enjoy the chaos so don’t worry that it is not perfect. I consider this a “perfect “ video!
I love that your daughter has taken an interest in your hobby... mine did not, they love to look at my projects, but have no interest in stitching... Those sheep buttons!!!!!!!
Love your adorable helper and videos -your projects are beautiful
Love all your projects. Theres always somewhere on cross stitch you can adjust something and no one but you will know. Happens to me alot but we can stitch any project a little different to suit us. Glad your daughter has taken an interest in stitching! Great job so far.
Your wreath looks great so glad you finished it. Wishing your family well! Love that your daughter shows an interest in cross stitching!
Thank you! I’m so glad I persevered with that wreath…that snowman truly almost did me in though, lol.

Thank you for watching! I’m hoping to start Come into my Garden this weekend….it’s so pretty. Ohhh that cat….she is all shenanigans, lol.

I was laughing over the cat too when I watched the video. She is full of trouble sometimes. My videos are like real life bloopers, lol.
Thank you so much for watching! I never know what the pets are going to do during a video! And I don’t take the time to edit, so I post the videos bloopers and all, lol!

So far it’s a big hit with Haley! Your granddaughters will love the kits
I love watching your videos ❤❤❤❤❤
I would leave the red house alone. It looks fine and I think carrying down that border would be really pretty

Ohhh, thank you for the book tip. I will have to look into it!
Your windows look fine. I would not have noticed if you had not told us.
