The ability to wirelessly transmit audio using the case is a win for those who travel a lot. This means not having to carry an AirFly Pro that is good but suffers from a slight audio lag. I would be interested to test if these have any audio lag when using the wirelessly transmission
I have them. They sound really quite a bit better then the sony's and technics. The 2 driver hardware in them is just from a really great level and they are sonically capable of things that the limited driver reach is not possible in the other mentioned brands. The sennheiser does a pretty good job as well bit also lack that huge dynamic range coming from this driver synergy!
ANC is very good. I always take a bus trip as a reference point for the listening experience with surrounding noise and it does so very well. I can enjoy even the most classical music on a noisy bus. It also has quite so volume reach that can help as well but I noticed I could enjoy my music at around 50-60% volume level wich is quite impressive. @@wehttamak
Indeed, you can get a decent pair of TWS earbuds for 20€. I just bought ones that last 6 hours (21 with a case) and they sound great, have water resistance, USB C and can get very loud. 5 years ago it was not a case, but today headphone jack is no longer a necessity.
£280 I've got a pair of kappa headphones soft cup on the lugs good all rounders and a bargain at £10 squid a pair great sound beats any of the in ear buds shenanigins 10 quid a pair at Morrisons supermarket lol
Really tempted to buy them but the price is a little crazy I listen to a lot of dubstepy bassey drum and bass music would this sound good I feel the case is more worked on than the headphones itself is that the case?
Yeah I remember that too. If I had to guess, Apple probably concluded it’s not worth the added cost and added weight to the case. It’s a neat concept, but if you have a smartwatch(which a lot of people do nowadays), it’s fairly redundant. It’s a near feature that peaks my interest, but probably not worth the money.
It's kind of a shame that a lot of the focus is on the case for these earbuds. Because the sound and ANC performance is really top notch. It would be great if we had a choice to buy them with a regular case for a lower price. Just my opinion. Nice review thank you. 💯👍🇺🇸
Ok so I think many people are missing the screen on the buds. It is very useful for so many important things. One, JBL has no windows app. So case allows for all the perks of the app in the case itself. I use mine for both windows and my phone. Two, it is much faster than taking out your phone, unlocking it, finding the app, logging into the app and then changing the settings. The app is literally on the case itself. And this last one, seriously important. The battery of the device and individual earbuds.
I must say those features and technology sound really good. Too bad is a tad bit expensive… looking forward to see those at more reasonable price point. Cheers and thanks for the video!
I have Samsung pro older model. I have small ear canals and have never been able to find ones that fit without my ears hurting after an hour. Considering going for over ear headphones but they are so big and chunky. I use earphones 85% af the time for listening to books. Do you have any suggestions? 🤗
If you have small ear canals and are thinking about over ear headphones I would suggest the Shokz open run pro 2. The are not bulky at all. They are actually bone conduction earphones. So nothing is in your ear and they are actually quite comfortable and extremely lightweight.
I don't get the concept... Why would you use the case for such stuff? Smartwatch or the touch controls are not enough (if the smartphone is not / cannot be used)? JBL marketing probably needs a shakeup... I love my Huawei Freebuds Pro 3. And they were much cheaper plus they don't look that plastic... 3h max with ANC on and 7-8 h without they are super, extremely fast charging in the case and a great equalizer in the app! Uncle sold me on those less than a year ago great choice!
I believe all brands do come with an APP? Let's be honest here, how many of us will re-visit the app to use the functions? EQ setting? Nah... not for me... so with the APP lite version on the smart charging case, just gives that convenience to me. Not necessarily i will use it, but when i need it, i can just quickly make the changes easily.
@@bevanlee1315 But is it cheaper to have an app or a whole screen integrated jn the case itself? From customer's perspective I believe the first makes more sense. All I say it's just a gimmick that just consumes battery from the case.
@@TransportRoutine Agreed and disagree to your statement. Only users who used it will get used to it's function. I would think the Tour Pro 3 having the smart screen enabled users to connect auracast and multiple functions easily. I do think the increase of price isn't because of the smart screen. There's BT transmitter, Full Transmission/Receiving Auracast, DUAL HYBRID DRIVERS! gosh! I just got the Tour Pro 3, and it is amazing. In the past, i don't change my EQ setting regularly, but now i do make use of the features when i go to gym.
Ten thousandth. Anyways... what's the point of that screen?! Watching adult content? Now you have more crap to worry about, like damaging the screen...Will customers now have to buy a screen protector and a case for the case?! Nah gimmicky and overpriced...
If this thing was a self contained mp3 player that could also function as wireless earbuds for other devices, I could see the appeal. But other than that, nah fam, the price aint worth it.
I have the tour pro 2 and I was very disappointed with them after paying 200€ at the time, I seen now the 3s are out I won’t be getting tour pros again, for that price you can get EarPods wouldn’t be getting these,
Any buds you have to tap is a no no for me. That's why I prefer AirPods. The galaxy buds were so annoying for this, adjust to make sure it's not falling out the ear and BOOM!! paused my music!! Annoying! I'll stick with AirPods ya big spunk monkey! 😂

what about ANC
I have the Sennheiser True Momentum 4's and your right while they sound clean they are actually still limited compared to my gaming headsets.

How is ANC that is the most important thing to me
Hi
How do they compare to Bose QC Ultra in terms of ANC?
Thanks
Shouldn't say the price so close to the start of the video. Everything in my body is screaming "stop watching this doesn't matter to you"
Check out the JBL live beam 3
I'd rather know how much it is so I can judge it on that
You literally can't have a realistic perspective on a product without knowing the price.
Yeah my interest came and went like that Grandpa Simpson gif, but I respect Uncle Spurty for pulling off the bandaid early
You're right and I felt that too, but I disagree because I think reviewers should put the price first and foremost to inform the viewer.
Stopped watching at £280

got it for $150 :)
The Nothing buds do me proud. Half the price of the JBLs. P.S. What's with the hotel lobby music? I thought l was in the Holiday Inn for a moment 😅

4:30 - Why on earth would you tuck away your phone in favor of the charging case in the first place?
Flying and switching audio through the case is convenient when you have nosey passengers.
I wear my phone in a holster when I'm doing yard work and walking around town. It's nice to have the case in the front pocket of my shirt. 💯🇺🇸
Limit distractions whilst working

Good on JBL for pre-loading that background on the display. 🤣
Which Technics are you referring to?
How do they compare to the Sony wf1000xm5?
For 200 would you consider it a good price? Are they better than the Airpods Pro 2 in sound?
Mainly watching Apple TV & Disney movies , how good the performance ?

That very subtle background music.. why?
I just don't get why the ear-tip opening isn't oval? It's so much more comfortable.

The case is more a plus for when you connect your earbuds to other devices that don't have the jbl app like a laptop

Linkbuds fit, linkbuds s or tour pro 3?

yeah that display is literally useless.

how ia thw ANC? i need good anc, are these better than airpods pro 2?
Yes, on the same level as bose QC ultra
I love the flashlight for my purse.
Is the case fragile?
I got it!

JBL puts Bose to shame ❤
I'd rather have the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 or Jabra Elite 10.
Which one is better in terms of phone calls, this or the Galaxy Buds3 Pro?
Thanks.
I have the galaxy buds their amazing highly recommend them..
No matter how close u bring ur ear to the camera, we can't hear the sound buddy...
No tampon-hanging-outta-your-ears earbuds for me, thanks :-D At least they look heaps better than the fruity ones.
I've never been to Milton Keynes
You are lucky it's a soulless shit hole.
I've never seen 'owt as daft, £280 ! To be honest, price them at £480 and I bet some clown will buy them - the kings new clothes and all that.
The cost just as much as the galaxy buds pro 3 and airpods pro here.
Yeah too expensive. I'll pass
I rather jbl come out with a new version live pro 2 which to me is a better than pro tour version
They already have with the Live Beam 3.
I get the feeling these should be more like $200, not $300. I mean $300 is literally BOSE level ffs!

Too chunky in my ear and hurts after 10-20 minutes.
Too much talking!! Ugh I wanna know about Bass or sound!!!! Ugh!!
Pure gimmick! Don't need a pointless screen of headphones

They definetly are not a gimmick. But definitely overpriced.
