Quinn taught herself guitar to Queen Of The Murder scene when she was 11. Aria started out on Ukulele but her Mom thought a bass would suit her personality better and Jonah beating pillows, pots and pans at 7 does actually pay blind folded and used to do it as a shtick before FTF.
5 vids were recorded in a cold barn in 10 hrs so the breath is real

2nd song from their debut EP ,Thrones. 5 songs, 3 videos currently released. All 5 were filmed in this setting, in an unheated barn ,late December outside Kelowna. -5C or low 20'sF. "Glitch" was the first song, "Masquerade" the most recent release.

Huge future for Freeze the Fall. Incredible talent for a young band.
They have two other songs released from the upcoming EP. _Glitch_ and _Masquerade_
A year ago Freeze The Fall uploaded seven videos from a live performance. Two of those videos were covers, Evolve by The Warning, and The Pretender by the Foo Fighters. The other five were all originals, and earlier version of Daughters of Witches, Masquerade, One Left Standing, Insomnia, and 46. The cover of Evolve got my attention. The originals got me to subscribe.
These live performances at Crown and Thieves are worth checking out.
This track is sooo good, Freeze The Fall has an exciting future ahead!

Yes, The Warning is one of their inspirations, more in Quinn's case, but the list of combined inspirations include: Children of Bodom, Mastodon, Death, Megadeth, Lamb Of God, Aurora, Bring Me The Horizon, Crown The Empire, Dream Theater, Tool, Slipknot, Spiritbox, Sleep Token, Foofighters, Smashing Pumpkins, System Of A Down and more. Their musical well is very deep.
I hope you'll backtrack to Glitch, their first video.
Fun fact: 17 days after uploading it, they were contacted by Canada's largest independent record label, and are now signed to a promotion and distribution deal.
Masquerade is the latest video, and Broken Glass drops on the 19th.

Thanks so much for checking out FTF. Yes, there are a number of us Warning Army members who think that these young Canadians have something good going on. Lots of influences in there, but not easy to pigeon hole their sound.

Great band, I am one of The Warning fans who love these guys too, saw an interview they did on UA-cam with 3 reactors I lide and they seem like really good people, I suppose that is why so many of us like them.
I met all three, and Aria and Quinn's parents in April. All super nice people. I used to live where they're at, and recently learned that Quinn's mom went to my old high school, a few years after me.

Just FYI Aria’s Bass is a Dingwall multi scale 5 string, and she knows exactly how to use it to make the songs heavy a great talent, all of them are, a great young band who definitely deserve more coverage!

Great to see you check out Freeze The Fall - they really have a great sound!! I like the comment about considering FTF as contemporaries with The Warning -- I think both bands have a lot of overlap in the music they like and music they create. One thing that both bands share is that it is so easy to cheer for them and wish them success - I'm not sure how common that is, outside of the fan groups.

A band with a lot of potential. Their studio versions feel a bit overproduced, live they don't sound the same, but they're just getting started.
It's curious that Jonah has his face covered in all his music videos so far.
The live footage is from when they were just starting out, more than a year ago. I saw them live in April. Trust me, they deliver live. I'll be seeing them live 3 more times this summer.
And the live versions from over a year ago are the initial versions of those songs, they weren't recorded at that time. They only recently went into the studio and properly recorded and mixed these songs for their debut EP so they will sound different. Overproduced is another matter. Guessing you're in the same camp as those who think The Warning's Keep Me Fed singles are overproduced. Actually a better comparison would be VoB whose album Retas had some older songs that they've been playing for years but when the studio version came out they sounded quite different.
Well, I'm going to get my act together and listen to their most recent performances.
We are expecting some properly produced live footage soon, from their ep release show. It was filmed professionally with multiple cameras, and the sound will be from the board. I don't judge bands from footage taken on cel phones.
