In game 2, he can't use the trap to summon Chaos Giant. The fusion has to mention Ancient Gear Golem, Chaos only needs 4 AG monsters.
What a god awful restriction, ruined the card. Great job Konami...
not really the summoned monster can attack 3 times and with the 4400 of the utimate ancient gear golem it makes this card useful precisely

Also, according to ygopro rulings, you can't fusion summon during the bp (which makes no sense. Seems like a needless restriction that isn't listed anywhere on the card and SHOULD be a legal play) with Ancient gear duel.

@@earthmachine81 That's a requirement of ancient gear duel, yes, but the rulings say you can't fusion summon with the card during the battle phase regardless.
the guy really doesn't know how to play ancient gear, in game 2 he doesn't do the fusion he can do but in itself that doesn't change anything about the victory that was there. On the other hand, on the last one, do not sacrifice the nibiru to draw 1 and free up the land, which allows you to activate the catapult and start for the OTK

Didnt he use dimension barrier on fusion in the last turn? Doesn't thar negate effects even if it didn't stop the summon?
Doesn't matter. Ancient Gear Duel allows the fusion monster to make up to 3 attacks. More than enough for lethal.
