I had the privilege of being 64's Crewchief out of Wyton for 5 years during the " Cold War" amazing times. 51 had the highest priority next to the Queens Flight. Busy exciting and very happy days.
Yes I knew Harry Hall, lovely chap and a very senior “ back ender” I really enjoyed the Cold War ops, even the day when a Sam nearly took us down, but that’s another story. Best regards Peter Tamblin
