On 21st March 2013 the aircraft was unveiled by TV presenter and historian Dan Snow. The Tornado was parked adjacent to the Battle of Britain Flight's Lancaster for a photo shoot. Later in the afternoon, Dan Snow was taken for a flight in the Tornado and after landing the aircraft was refuelled before returning to RAF Lossiemouth to take part in further celebrations. During the next few weeks 617 Squadron will take part in several other events and flypasts.
