Hi Ade i just dropped on to you from a Nobby's Workshop Update, so i came over to to take a look and sub'd & bell'd you for future video's👍👍 That little model lathe video took my eye and is a cracking little model well done with that👍👍, I'm just in the process of scratch building a fully functioning micro lathe from some vintage castings i came across, its has no drawings so just coming out of my head as i go, a bit like your thought processes that iv'e seen so far. i know it wasnt really intended to be practical, but there is a morse taper #0 that would have been ideal at this size for the spindle and tailstock... at which point, a sashweight might have been a better choice of material. an oft overlooked thing with compressed air? if you heat it up first, you get a lot more grunt out of it.
