What did it matter if Steo was gay? It didn't change who he was. In fact it made him more endearing to other people to have been so open and honest about it. I felt sorry for what he had to go through (all that torment and torture), and at the end of the day - as it turned out - it was all for nothing. Look, the way I see it is if he was happy, then so was I. I absolutely loved him regardless of that and I always will. He was such a gorgeous, loving, kind-hearted person who would do just about anything to make others happy. This world would be a much better place to live in if there were more Stephen Gately's in it. RIP my beautiful man, you will never be forgotten, love you always. xxxx

There was a young 27 yrs old, actor in Asia who died of Acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis on his sleep, he looked healthy too. He didn't wake up. I was thinking maybe Steo died of that as well. It is said that when you sleep while still full or not fully digested after a heavy meal or so and then you sleep right away that your body or heart perhaps had a hard time to pump.
Rich Dalton, what does it matter? No-one asks to be gay or straight, people are born that way and Stephen just happened to be attracted to men. The only thing that mattered to me was that he was happy with the way he felt about himself and the way he wanted to live his life, plus he was a really beautiful person with a loving heart, and no matter who he came across on his travels, he always gave up his time to talk to people (especially his fans) and to help those in need. Regardless of whether he was gay or not, I loved him wholeheartedly.
