My biggest challenge is to find the underbody fuel line and how it is connected to the fuel pump, then engine to the port injection side. I am doing this swap sometime this year. I know that the 2GR-FSE ECU can be sent to remap(to Russia). Also, I am concerned about the wiring. By the way I am doing this swap in Ireland. Whish me luck (here looking for the parts list). I think it will be very complicated such as mission, electric part, ecu, etc. I'm asking this question because I can get a gs350 engine and all used part(whole car), which is the same engine as the is350, very cheaply. Ecu has used parts on eBay. Please give me an answer.
from what I've read on Lexus forums, a lot has to be done. New or modified ECU is definitely required. I have heard that the 3gr-fse engine can be installed and run on the 4gr-fse engine components. 2gr-fse swap is much more complicated.
@@roofcamper3473 Thank you for the answer. The ecu of is350 is being sold on eBay, but when I looked it up more, the gear ratio is different from is350. My car is 3rd gen is 250 It's not too fast looking at the acceleration of 3rd gen is 350. It's a good way to buy a new car.
@@sonson2669 it’s probably best to sell your car and spend the money on a 350. I’m in a similar situation as you with an is250. I love it but I will probably sell it for a 350 with the 2gr-fks engine in the near future, and not attempt an engine swap. Unless your current motor is bad, I don’t think a 2gr swap is cost effective.

Any issues making the car compliance? I have an Audi A3c 2.0 turbo fun to drive but very unreliable, now that I found this video I will sell it and buy an IS250c and put an IS350 engine on it to make it faster, so glad I found this video thanks for sharing!

Did u keep the port injector? Or you only run direct injector like the 250?
