The honey is optional guys! Yes, bunnies can have a a LITTLE honey :) Please only use a little! And also remember the roses should be organic/pesticide-free. Try your local farmers market or grow them yourself! Xo
Lennon The Bunny I make 'bunny balls' from oats, sugar free rice crispies, pumpkin seeds, and dried herbs and bind it with egg white. my two bunnies go mad for it!
Just make sure not to leave any apple seeds in the apples before baking them as they could make the bunny sick or be a choking hazard. Lennon is adorable.
People thought so for a long time. But in fact a bunny would have to eat a ton of apple seeds to get sick. So the amount of seeds an apple contains is not problematic at all.
It is best not to take chances having your bunny ingest any poisons of any amount. They have sensitive stomachs and digestive systems. Also best not to give them any choking hazards. Bunnies are unable to vomit.
Trader Dave Couldn’t agree more! It is well publicized that too many seeds are toxic to rabbits, so why even take a chance by including them? Simply core the apple before slicing! Using an apple corer would make this even more easy!
Put a handful of pellets and a tiny amount of berries and bananas then mix in hay which you can find at the bottom of your hay bag then blend these together and bake it you will be done
Half a of a small banana mashed, 1/4 cup of ground oats, 1/8 cup of mashed carrots Mix everything together, then get a baking pan and put parchment paper on it. Heat oven to 350°. Make little 1 inch round cookies and put them on the baking pan. Bake for 1 hour or less. Turn oven off and leave the pan in there to dry the cookies for 1 hour. And done your bunny has yummy treats, but give only 1 treat a day.
You have so many great ideas! Roses. Wow! Didn't think of that. I have dried dandelion roots/flowers, raisins, kale, dried hibiscus flowers, and rolled oats as my bunny's main treats.
Omg this is going to be sooo useful because I can know the treats are ok for my rabbit to eat and because the shop treats are really expensive sometimes!!!
I adopted a rabbit a month ago and have been religiously watching your videos since. She's my first rabbit, as I never thought I'd be able to own such an animal, and I always heard terrible things about rabbits. The day I met her, she was at my apartment's adopt a pet day, and I held her for about an hour and just fell in love. I knew I didn't know much about rabbits though and stayed up all night doing research until I felt comfortable enough in my decision to adopt her. The next day we drove an hour to go adopt her. She was found in an abandoned home with a bunch of other animals, she has cataracts in one eye, her cage was falling apart and the poor thing reeked of urine, her paws super stained. But she is the sweetest thing. I knew even at the shelter she was in, they didn't know how to take care of her properly. I've been tending to her and giving her all sorts of loves, grooming, basil and sometimes little apple slices when we get to bond together, and I've been working her towards being able to live life free roam, or at least have her own penned part of the house. As I don't think she's ever lived a life outside her cage. I know you said to do it as soon as possible, but I've been trying to work her way up to it, and she's doing amazing. I just want to thank you for everything you've done for Lennon and yourself, and all of the people that watch your videos.
Hey Lorelei! I’d love to see a video explaining or showing what you do with Lennon when you leave town for a long while and can’t take him with you! We have someone check up on him and feed our rabbit but I wonder if that’s good enough sometimes
I live in a college dorm room and cant have a rabbit. And also dont have the time for one at this point in my life. So I'm living vicariously through your videos
I'm considering rescue guinea pigs for companionship for my bunny, but I'D want them vaccinated against the respiratory disease many rabbits and cats carry
I am so happy my dad suggested getting a rabbit. Over the time i've done ny research, I have found how sweet and beautiful they are. I'm getting netherland dwarves soon! ❤❤
I love this video! And here I was wondering...what should I make for my bunny for her birthday tomorrow! (you should make a birthday cake for bunny recipe video sometime too!)
Lauren Fiecke yeah! I kind of did that - I used the cookie recipe, and put slices of strawberry on top of each one :). We met with our bunny agility club today, so we brought the cookies, and each bunny got a cookie, and we gave the rest to the shelter bunnies. It was a lot of fun! There are photos on her Instagram if you want to see them (@bunelope)
Absolutely love this channel. So much information and I love to see the loving relationship she has with Lennon. I also love that she is so humble and empathetic of other peoples situations. Thanks so much for this
Wow these look really nice! Whenever I try make treats for my guinea pigs they end up growing old there usually banana and oat ones but these looks really good! I’m sure Lennon loves them
OMG! this changed my rabbits life lol! my rabbit loves these treats and also it saves me more money and I don't have to look everywhere to find healthy treats other than the unhealthy. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THESE RECIPES!! Btw your bunny, Lennon, is CUTEEEE!
Thanks for these snack ideas! I have bunny cookies in the oven now! I also have carrots and apple slices in the dehydrator. I might stick the cookies in the dehydrator too depending on the consistency when I pull them from the oven and let them cool. I can't wait to see my bunnies excitement over these treats!
Recently discovered your channel and it’s the best I’ve come across! I’ll be getting a bunny of my own in two months. I intend to have it free roam in my large bedroom. I was wondering if you could make a video centred around rabbit hygiene as I’m afraid of the litter box smelling despite being cleaned daily. Thanks
Love this on!!! I give them dried banana chips too (natural not soaked in sugar). and I'm going to go forage for dandilions in our pesticide organic yard i the next day too! Found a friend with a willow tree and gathered a few branches that had fallen too. They love chewing on the willow!
Thank you for the video! Your videos are so informative and helpful. You are an inspiration! I actually signed up at my local bunny shelter in Austin TX because of how inspiring you are!
Yes! Finally some healthy DIY treats for Shadow! It's nice to make treats and know how they were made and know the ingredients used! Love the videos and the channel! Thanks Lennon The Bunny!! 😘🐰
Charlie On toast 9 weeks is too young for a rabbit to have any fruits or vegetables. You can begin introducing very small amounts of veggis & fruit at 3+ months of age. There are some excellent rabbit sources online like rabbit house society & binky bunny that helped me when my baby rabbits were born & growing. I strongly suggest you do a lot of research online reguarding your rabbits diet and health, it will only help in the long run :)
AzuTea my bunny is around 5 weeks old and she loves to eat fruit and vegetables! We are still bottle feeding her but we are weaning her off. She is perfectly heAlthy and I don’t understand why they wouldn’t be able to eat fruit or vegetables later on in their life instead of now.
I just recently got my first ever bunny (literally only a few days ago) and have made the dried apple, carrot, pear, and even banana. They're now all mixed in a little jar and my Charlie loves them!
I have a 4 year old Lion-Head Rabbit (meaning he has extra hair round his face, like a mane - hence the lion head- i call them sideburns cos they look like he has them 😂) and I made all of these treats for him and they were a huge hit! He can sometimes be a picky eater, so the fact that he LOVED all of these is amazing!! *HIGHLY* recommend all of these!
He roses look amazing!!!! I’m getting a bunny these holidays because my bunny passed away this year about a month ago. I am definitely going to try this!!!
My Bunny is 1 month old. Can I feed him that? Or is he too young to eat other types of food excpept bunny food? (Edit: sorry he is 2 months old not 1.)

Have a nice day
This is really helpful because when I made the rose head snacks for my bunny she LOVED them. Thanks for this bunny treats video it helps out a lot! Love your channel

You don’t need to say that
My friend made some dried apples for her bunny and I could NOT stop eating them XD they were so good!

Have any recipes of your own?! Post them below!
Lennon The Bunny I'm pretty sure I could use the apple one for myself XD it looks good
LOL, same. I would eat all the apple treats...
Put a handful of pellets and a tiny amount of berries and bananas then mix in hay which you can find at the bottom of your hay bag then blend these together and bake it you will be done
Lennon The Bunny I just seen your video and it is super cute. With all the treats you mad can I use the same recipe for my guinea pigs
Half a of a small banana mashed,
1/4 cup of ground oats,
1/8 cup of mashed carrots
Mix everything together, then get a baking pan and put parchment paper on it. Heat oven to 350°. Make little 1 inch round cookies and put them on the baking pan.

Vertiline Black oats is safe for them ?
arbaaz psy yes
@Pippi Johnson Essentially the same thing, you might have to increase or reduce the time, better to keep an eye on it while it's in the oven.
I cannot wait for summer now so I can pick roses off my rose bush for my bun buns! How awesome. Thanks!
Omg this is going to be sooo useful because I can know the treats are ok for my rabbit to eat and because the shop treats are really expensive sometimes!!!

Loveddddd it when Lennon licked the spoon so clever and adorable
Bunnies send their love
I live in a college dorm room and cant have a rabbit. And also dont have the time for one at this point in my life. So I'm living vicariously through your videos
Eek so cute licking the spoon. Thank you for this. I'll have to try these with my buns and piggies
Are you sure your pigs will like this? Well, first step in making these pig-friendly if you give them to your pigs: A LOT bigger treats!
I'm considering rescue guinea pigs for companionship for my bunny, but I'D want them vaccinated against the respiratory
disease many rabbits and cats carry

I love this video! And here I was wondering...what should I make for my bunny for her birthday tomorrow! (you should make a birthday cake for bunny recipe video sometime too!)

Did you know that rabbits love apple twigs from an apple tree? Btw this looks so yummy can 9 week year old bunny have this?
Charlie On toast 9 weeks is too young for a rabbit to have any fruits or vegetables. You can begin introducing very small amounts of veggis & fruit at 3+ months of age. My rabbit is OBSESSED with apple twigs!!
Lauren Fiecke wow same my older one loves it but my baby hasn’t tried it 😆
AzuTea I know she is allowed wetabix and tiny carrots but nothing else
AzuTea my bunny is around 5 weeks old and she loves to eat fruit and vegetables! We are still bottle feeding her but we are weaning her off. She is perfectly heAlthy and I don’t understand why they wouldn’t be able to eat fruit or vegetables later on in their life instead of now.

Quick question... bunnies can't have rose leaves?
bunnies can eat rose leaves
removing the leaves helps dehydrate the roses faster :) Plus, they are just meant to be rose head snacks anyway :)
Lennon The Bunny thanks so much :)
I have a 4 year old Lion-Head Rabbit (meaning he has extra hair round his face, like a mane - hence the lion head- i call them sideburns cos they look like he has them 😂) and I made all of these treats for him and they were a huge hit! COULD YOU MAKE A VIDEO OF LENNON WITH A LEASH IN THE PARK PLEASE!!
DIRECTIONER it could be dangerous
Lennon is the cutest!
My Bunny is 1 month old. Can I feed him that? Or is he too young to eat other types of food excpept bunny food? (Edit: sorry he is 2 months old not 1.)
Stavroula Stavroudh your bun is too young to be eating these. It’s actually to young to be weaned also!
Uh that’s like a month too young to be weaned, hopefully he is still with the mom?!
Is your rabbit still with the mother? The only thing a rabbit that age should be eating is his mothers milk and a few nibbles of pellets
Hello you can feed him this but like for all changes in alimentation you should not give big portions, just slowly increase them (my bunny are in hay/pellets/veggies for winter and i progressively change their alimentation in spring to finally give them 80% of vegetation.) Now they are eating in an enclosure for the most part of the day (i have a big garden, and i just change the enclosure from place to place so they always eat fresh) in any case always provide him fresh water, lots of hay and a little bit of pellets and increase fresh food slowly. Have a nice day
PS? What do you call bunny food? Avoid the bunny mixes and give him pellets instead (always changing slowly)
Thank you for this video! Really helpful. I didn’t know bunnies liked dried up rose 🌹 heads!
Love you
