Only half way through the video, but the math had me interested (extremely rough math). My guy said 827 KC and Im honestly not sure if it's all challenge or not, however, again rough math from looking at his times, it averages around 46 minutes a pop. 827 × 46 =38,042 minutes. Divide by 60 for the hour, and that's 634 hours. 634 hours of dedication and perseverance for the item. He has every reason to complain but never really does. And I am personally awestruck by this Unit, just consistently going for what he wants.

If you average a 45 minute raid or faster, its better to save 3 minutes and get more completions. Being conservative you could do 33 more raids in the time it takes you to hit tbow drop rate. Bringing it up you would get two extra chances at a 1/491 tbow which is worth more than the same time spent on a 1/462 tbow.
Yeah, without doing the extra wood at ice demon and guardians stuff my average raid is around 46 mins with my gear, so it's barely better to take the extra time. If Jagex makes the proposed cox changes that could definitely change things.

Also maybe start doing toa going for staff upgrade? Would help big time for tbow grind also masori would be good once you get tbow.
I plan on grinding toa right after tbow. Masori isn't super helpful if you don't have the bow so I was holding off for now.

So i've been doing the ice demon thing for a very long time now, and assuming its the same as regs for time to burn you can get 6 invents. To maximise, you get 6 invents and then another 5 kindling or more. After you burn the first you drop the tinderbox and youll have full 28 spaces.

Yep, I got my FCAS around 3 years ago! Now I just coast at my job and play osrs, hence the name.

Are thralls better for solos than Veng? I've been getting into solo CM's but still just using Veng since that's what I'm used to from group CM's
Veng is great for vasa but thralls are better overall. They help a lot at olm.

Yeah, I'm kind of wishing jagex could add something similar to skilling pets where if you have the 2k cape for a raid, it increases your chances of getting any purple not already in your collection log. Don't think that'll ever happen though.

anyways, im interested in how do you know the maths behind the drop rates? im currently 600 tob kc and going for a scy, id like to figure the maths behind that too, if possible! gl and ty

I calculate the math behind the drop rates by using the binomial distribution and assuming the drops from each kc are independent. For tob if you do all 4 man deathless raids, the chance of having a scythe by 600 kc is about 58%, so it's a bit unlucky you don't have one yet.
Yeah its about 1/150 to see a scythe from a deathless as a group
surely yous should do toa for a shadow before doing another 1,000?

I'll probably just wait and see. After I get GM combat achievements (which will be after tbow + shadow) I might become a clogger, so I could see myself going for it eventually. I think it'd be kinda cool to get the 2k CM cape doing 100% solos.
You should not cap brew points too much. Overload doses give more points and you will cap potion points anyways around olm
What plug in do you use for your chat box?
I actually just use normal options in the settings. There's an option for transparent chat box and click through transparent chatbox. You can also customize the colors!

Mostly because of the Shadow i think. Hat was not used as often with trident or sanguilini, especially when bringing multiple Combat Styles. With Shadow its much more impactful

just out of curiosity, how are you maintaining your ruby bolts?
I use about 6-7 on average per kc and on average each vork kc drops around 8 dragon bolts. I'll just occasionally go do an hour or so of vork and that usually covers me for a bit.

@@jacobknowsgeorgebushdid9119 yeah that's how you do it. bowfa shreds most other things but is kinda annoying to use at head phase for solos and is worse dps than dhcb.
would you go for shadow to help with the grind? shadow is a much faster grind than tbow for sure.
Shadow would speed up the kcs but knowing my luck I'd end up going super dry for it and masori isn't too helpful until I get tbow, so I'm just gonna stay at cox for now. If I get to 2k CMs and still don't have the bow, I'll start throwing in some toa too
@@FCASandChillWhat about torva/zcb/bowfa? I feel like these would be huge for you, I have done over 1.5k cms over 2 accounts and I cant imagine doing all those kcs without having some of those items.
I already have bowfa and full crystal. Torva/Zcb is just such a long grind on an ironman and it doesn't make things that much easier. Usually those are some of the last things irons go for
@@FCASandChill i just figure it could offer a decent break.. shadow is like 1/24 and at 400 invo you get almost 1/10 rate for a purple so 240 40 minute raids is decent chance for a shadow.

I really hope you've since focused your energy on getting better at the content than cheesing points. Learning to complete the raid faster will be better than all these zero sum changes. Stuff like actually hitting as many times as you possibly can at Vasa before clawing the crystal. At 6:50, you miss three full bow hits on that rotation. Maybe set yourself a challenge of going for GM CA speedrunner so that you learn how to go faster in the rooms. Your runs should be at least 5-10 mins faster, if not a lot more, even without a tbow.

Curious...why not run team raids? 3mans take bout 30 ish mins... I'm guessing you just cba to find/play with teams? Solo too much clicking for me and slow af
Part of it is not wanting to organize with teams. I also average around 80k points/hour on solos when focus and I think it'd be hard to beat that in teams with my current gear
@@FCASandChill im like 450 cms and 1200 regulars, teams only. Using wdr its pretty easy to get teams... I say you switch it up and a do a couple hundred with teams.
I'm holding off on teams until either tbow or the 2k cape. I'd definitely try some out afterwards though.

All activities (other than running into the door at guardians) are capped at how many points they can give you in cox. Burning wood stops giving you points after the 5th inventory.
