O personagem da história se dedicou à escrita desde garoto e levou consigo essa paixão até seu último dia de vida. Ele tentou se apaixonar, no entanto a moça vendo que não teria tanto espaço assim na vida dele quanto o seu caderno e não podia ter o seu amor real sem ser através das páginas, o deixou. Ele se frustra.
