Man! this video was priceless. Thank you for sharing this information. I had to watch it a bunch of times as this is my first attempt at a harness. Thanks to you you helped me get the final step done.

Youre awsome. Really helped me cheat instead of pulling up a diagram for a EZwiring harness. THANK YOU

Thanks so much for the video. I think I will do a setup on the bench like you have. I bought this rewired race 260Z and I pulled the relays off and everything still worked off the aftermarket switch box. So I want to make more normal, w lights and turn signals.

And for anyone hardworking their switch into an S30....
White/red is the battery power to the headlight switch and Red is the output from the switch.
    Red/yellow is low beam (-)
    Red/white is high beam (-)

@@DatsunDave07This helped me out a freaking ton dude!
Im just stuck on the turn signal White/Red and White/Black now. How could I get these working with this setup?

@@DatsunDave07I figured it out and everything “clicked” 10min after I typed the last message.
I now understand that the combo common grounds basically are reverse to 12V. Therefore as you mentioned the red wire is now output, I wired it to the black common ground- that then enables the headlights low and high to work along with horn.
Now as for turn signals, I jumped a wire over from the red wire going to the common ground over to the solid green wire coming from the middle of the left turn signal (White/Black) and the right turn signal (White/Red) this enables those to finally work

Thanks for this, it confirmed what I thought I understood form the manual but does the low beam de-energize when the high beam is selected? That part still has me stumped.

The hi/lo beam switch is one or the other. Only high beam or low beam. Never both.

that is not how it works.. dont hate me. you also need (3) 4 pin relays to make this work.. you have to hook it up to the harness to get it
