She even threw herself down a staircase and pretended she fell in a movie. Queen of stairs so ironic she couldn’t even down up or down them in baby Jane ☠️
Only criticism of this scene I would like to change to heighten the madness is I would've kept the body at the stairs visible and not dissappear immediately as we hear the door opening. Having Joan look to the door to see her victim just fine THAN look to the stairs again to see no body and than the beautiful range of madness across her face zoom out. Otherwise a steller film and wonderfully shot of her range of madness flushing across her face
This Was The Scene that made Joan One of my faves!
Have you checked out Sudden fear definitely on my top 5.
@missie6110 I watched All her movies that are available in HD, Sudden Fear is Great too
❤ What a actress, no one does it like Joan Crawford ❤
She's the worst part of this...
We all have opinions, mine is, there were many better actresses than JC. Especially Bette Davis
Because she isn’t acting she was evil .
She’s astonishing!!!! Always the STAR ⭐️
I love that we see the sweat on Joan’s face
I came for this comment!!!
The beating-heart score seems very ahead of its time
You don't watch many old movies...
was she ever so beautiful!!!
I know I’m in the minority but I never thought so. Her eyebrows made her look hard and harsh.
that was her staple and distinguished her from the others!!!
@@nelsonreyes1129 - yes, it definitely did that! Wonderful actress just the same.
That's the problem she was always trying to be beautiful instead of being a great actress
Agreed
She was absolutely one of the BEST actresses EVER.
Joan was unable to strike someone, unless they were on a staircase.
Queen Bee, the girl Joan slapped, was at the bottom of the stairs, not on them.
A Woman’a Face, Possessed and It’s a Great Feeling, no staircase
If Joan had not won the Oscar for Mildred Pierce she would have won for Posessed
She even threw herself down a staircase and pretended she fell in a movie. Queen of stairs so ironic she couldn’t even down up or down them in baby Jane ☠️
I would love to see Joan strike Agnes Moorehead down in Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte. Apparently, Joan did film that scene.
would someone please download it and tag us!!!
She have done that to Veda no good behind 😅
I love this movie!❤❤❤
This great performance is what JC should have won an Oscar for not the substandard Mildred Pierce, she was way better in this. IMO
Always a.class act
Joan could slap like no other!!!
That face..that look..the stars of today can never compare to Joan crawford
Brilliant film I have it
Joan did two Possessed movies. Both good.
😂 CLASSIC 50's DRAMA, HER GLIDING DOWN THE STEPS WHILE HOLDING UP HER DRESS.
Baby Joan Crawford movies are like a can of Pepsi.Every time you pop open i can it fittzles..
I haven’t seen this one before looks good!
love JC
What's the name of the movie ?
Possessed (1947)
This was such a shocking scene when I first saw it. I mean how did it get past the censors!!!???
is the movie on line? can't find it
She must've had a plank of wood protecting her back. That was a hard fall down those stairs going backwards.
A PLANK OF WOOD? sheesh...
Male stunt double.
Great acting
is the movie on line?
Absolutely love this damn movie
Good job , dear!.
👏👏👏👏😍
Not coincidentally one of Joan’s husbands found dead at bottom of stairs? Died from Heart attack…😂😂
❤

She crazy
In another time Joan killed a wrong woman 💼
No she dropped out of the film abruptly and Olivia DE Havilin got the part 😊
No that was Hush Hush Sweet Charolette . Check it out
She's always hitting or slapping someone 😂
Poor direction and editing. Great acting and music.
She played herself 🙄
Over acting. 🤦
EXACTLY 😂😂😂
She practiced that scene on tina at home! Daily!
“[Christina’s] lies should not be given credence.” - Cathy Crawford, daughter
😂😂😂😂😂
