Introduction to teaching a child how to cast in our Fairy Workshop from the Toy Soldier Factory.

A short introduction to casting with children, where you learn how to handle the metal and equipment as well as let the child enjoy the experience under careful supervision. The mould itself is made of vulcanised black rubber and the metal can be melted on any electric cooker or hotplate. Always wash hands after handing metal before eating.

I remember making the soldiers with my dad in the 60s. Nice to see the tradition hasn't been banned everywhere like every other toy I grew up with.
