Great finds. I got the Springsteen cassettes box set for $3. The Firehouse, and Bon Jovi Crossroads CDs for $1 each all from Goodwill Thriftstores recently. Don't have the budget and room to collect records. So I have to stick to CDs and occasional cassettes.
"Speak Now Live" was the last official Taylor Swift live CD release. I have the CD/ DVD set with bonus material. I think it's a great show. The Beaches, along with The Warning, a sister rock trio from Mexico, are my favorite current all-female rock bands. And I think both are amazing live. "Flaming Pie" is a great solo Paul McCartney album. I originally "slept" on it, when it was out. I didn't like the three singles very much. But, I found a beat up copy, cheap in the late 2000's, and I really enjoyed it. I like just about every track. I got the McCartney Archive Collection edition 2 CD set, and I really enjoy that, too.
Very cool. Those prices are insane though!! I find (roughly) the same prices at Indigo. Pretty cool that HMV is back though.. And I love flaming Pie!!!!
I discovered The Sadies a couple of years ago and the album 'Colder Streams' was my album of the year from 2022. The Rick White record is every bit as good. Love the channel👍
@@Discoderek69 hey thanks! Glad you’re enjoying the channel. Colder Streams is good but sort of middle of the pack for me. If you can find their Live In Concert Vol 1……its is phenomenal! Tremendous Efforts is my favourite of their studio albums.
A TV special was made from this live Love At The Greek concert. I love Neil also. My first LP was the record with Sweet Caroline on it. Loved HMV. Thanks for the video. That Trans Canada looks interesting. Again thanks for the video. Now I gotta go to HMV.
Rob. Wow! Amanda Marshall and Firehouse back to back! I mean, you're killing me here! I love Firehouse. I have an unofficial pressing of their Hold Your Fire album (it's the one with When I Look Into Your Eyes on it). Their lead singer CJ Snare passed away earlier this year. Anyways, amazing stuff here in this video. Great finds. Cheers, Darryl.
@@NorthernRevolutions Those were great. And then when you started mentioning HMV, it was like stepping back in time. I don't know how many CDs I purchased back in the day either at our local convenience store (that also sold discs), HMV in Winnipeg, or through Columbia House, but knowing they're back is like walking back in a time warp. Coles/Indigo also sells records in some locations (and like Toys R Us, the prices are not cheap). I bought my one and only Taylor Swift records (1989 Taylor's Version, tangerine edition) there.
@@northernvinylguy 👍 I have them all as well. I've been a fan since her third single. 😊 I think "Fearless" is the most successful "Taylor's Version", and the "Red" one has the best bonus material. It's like another full album of very good songs to enjoy.
Yeah for the Neil Diamond shoutout! ✌🏻
Nice stuff Rob, and thanks for the shout! That Sadies sounds right up my alley!
@@samstjohn1994 I think you’d really dig it.

@@NorthernRevolutions cheers for that Rob I will have a dive further into the catalogue👍
HMV needs to return to my local shopping mall! Such a shame Sunrise Records had to buy it out in 2017.

okay you can't put firehouse with bon jovi.... Firehouse can stand on it's own... it's like the Darkness.
I cant believe you actually watched one of my videos. 🤣
